When it came time to get rid of our bathtub and change it to a walk in shower, we did not hesitate to call them. His crew was clearly untrained to do the work he sold us, and then he ghosted us after making our bathrooms WORSE than when they began. He said they'd be back "next week" but we haven't heard back from him in over 6 weeks and have to find a replacement contractor now. We wanted to like DA, but the deep carelessness of both Drew & his crew made the whole process miserable. He holds the warranty for our HOA's roof, so he gets a lot of business here and has a lot on the line with his reputation. We hired him for an initial $6k trial project to make sure we worked well together; there was another $12k on the line if he did halfway-reasonable work, yet he completely phoned it in over and over. Short list of specifics: - Drew regularly ignored text messages for weeks and failed to provide basic information that we asked for, even after reminders. - When the crew showed up, they did less than half the work that was on the invoice, then told us they were done with it ALL and left without letting us inspect the attic. They "finished" a scheduled 2-day project after around 4 total hours of work (which would have made the project cost $500/hour/person). I made them come back for the second day of work and they redid nearly everything. - Drew promised 10-14" of cellulose attic insulation, but we ended up getting cheaper fiberglass in hit-or-miss piles as low as 4". - I asked why they blew fiberglass instead of cellulose; he told me the ceilings "couldn't handle cellulose." I asked why he originally promised cellulose in that case; he said he "must have meant fiberglass" and that it's "comparable." But it's not comparable; it's completely different and has numerous downsides that we were specifically trying to avoid. Our HOA manager later confirmed that cellulose was a fine choice and that Drew could have used it. - We wanted to upgrade our rusty old bathroom fans that rattle and make noise, but the new fans he picked off the shelf (without any of our input whatsoever because he couldn't be bothered to ask) are even louder than before. They emit 94 decibels, which is as loud as a lawn mower (and louder than a vacuum cleaner); running these fans for more than 1 hour would literally be a NIOSH violation. - Drew argued that the fans were acceptable and were "in the contract" even though he never even asked us what fans we wanted (and the contract didn't specify a fan). Then after he left, the crew said "wow, it is a loud fan" when they thought we couldn't hear. - We weren't quoted for the cost of the building permit which turned out to be an extra $200+ surprise. His controller Jane was the only good part about the process; she was competent and responsive, so at least we were able to pay them on time for this nightmare.

We were searching for floor covering to complete an enclosed porch addition. After checking various…read moretypes of tile and carpet types in the large businesses we saw a wood look inlay that our daughters builder had purchased from the tile shop. We looked at several available products available at the shop and decided on a clip together tile that the shop would install. The owner stopped in to measure an also offered to cover a limestone step into the addition with the tile. The finished job was not the cheapest product we had seen but the professionalism in the total purchase and installation of the flooring is one of the best values we have acquired in many years. We are extremely pleased with the look and the obvious quality of the tile. Thanks David. Good to know we still have quality products and installation still available when you look for it.

So the Tile Stop is an incredible selection of just about any kind of Tile you can think of, but…read moreman -- customer service is quite low on their priority list. I came in with an obscure color and size of tile from a broken bathroom and they matched it up rather quickly. We ordered what we thought was the right color in the right finish, and it was ordered within minutes, shipped in two days. The only problem was that it differed with the sample that we agreed on. Now I only have a bachelor's degree, and Lord knows I've never worked at a tile shop before, but the man patronized me for having the audacity to try to order the correct tile. On the receipt, Tile Stop had the right number, but had the wrong name, and we probably argued about the stupid $7 worth of tile for about twenty minutes until his coworker came in and said, "Let's try to make the customer happy. He's probably wrong and I'd put money on that, but worse comes to worse he'll have twice as much of the wrong tile." And I reluctantly agreed, but it was too late to call their distributor for the random tile. So they said they'd call the next day. About two weeks later I had assumed they either forgot or didn't want to order it again. So I called The Tile Stop and they, indeed, had no recollection of the reorder... So, I paid twice as much for the right tile and shipping with their distributor (Beaver Glass and Tile) 40+ miles away and guess what? I was correct. Who knew the customer could be even occasionally right? Wouldn't go with them again outside of convenience to match the tile. Incompetence aside, no customer should feel attacked for wanting to get a product. In fact, I would put money on the fact that they still have the wrong style of tile somewhere waiting for someone to pick it up. Maybe I'm an isolated case, but maybe not. Happy hunting!

LOL hila hilarious the window he put in was so chincy and cheap. Update to the Homebase Saga a piece of siding fell of both sides of house, the first time fixed it no issue, then all of a sudden the one piece they fixed fell again and because I didn't notice it until my neighbor pointed it out ( faces his house )I called about it and after a week and a half got a call back ( within the week and a half more pieces fell off because of winds and now I'm told there will be a charge) mind you we're still under 2 years of completion date. I wouldn't recommend them to an enemy of mine. Maybe just maybe The owner will step up and I'll adjust my review but for now it will not be changed
