I've been seeing Dr. Tolson at this location for two years now. I don't know why dental or doctor clinics always get such bad reviews. If you read through the reviews, it's the same hoity-toity, uppity-ups complaining about the same shit over and over and over and over and over again. "My appt. was at 10 o'clock. They made me waittttttttttt!!!!!!" I know. We get it. You're some big shot at some fancy ass corporation and your time is money and if the doctor is going to make you wait, then you should be able to bill them! It's the same pansy-ass negative review that we all read over and over and over again for every doctor and dental clinic regardless of where you live. It's as original as their negativity. Listen. All it takes is ONE patient to be late and the entire schedule is thrown out of whack. It's not rocket science. If the dude who's supposed to be there at 7 o'clock in the morning strolls in at 7:08 a.m., it's just going to exasperate the situation as the day goes on. I don't quite see how that's the MD's fault or Summit Medical Groups' fault or Paseo Family Physicians Group's fault. I, for one, have not had any issues with this clinic at all. The horrible virus affecting everyone in the Valley landed on me... coughing... sore throat... stuffy head... congestion... the whole ball of wax. Dr. Tolson always takes time to listen to me before just chucking a prescription at me. He always asks how I'm doing and how everything else is going, overall. The front desk reception staff is pleasant and I even called this morning to see if they had a last minute opening and they did! The waiting area is clean, quiet and comfortable. The MA's (like Tandi) are friendly, accommodating and if/when I do have a prescription - it is filled promptly, accurately and efficiently. I enjoy coming to this clinic and would not hesitate to recommend this clinic to family, friends or fellow Yelp'ers! read more

This is my second visit within 5 months. I came to check up on a cough that I had but went away but there's still this lingering cough that occurs from time to time. I didn't have to wait long before I got called back by the MA. She took my vitals and asked the reason for my visit. Dr. Patel came in within 10 mins after. During this visit I felt the process was more rushed than the last. I was quickly seen and "diagnosed". I was told I would be treated for my untreated cough and a follow up within the next couple of weeks if I'm not doing better. My other concerns of anxiety and fatigue was not resolved due to the Doctors recommendation of treating the cough first since it might cure the fatigue and anxiety. I wasn't a fan of the nurse whom, I had the last time as well. She seems too comfortable in her job and uncaring. Banged on the door, talked to someone outside the door, then entered. Said "you either get better or you don't" regarding the medicine I was prescribed, not the nicest person whom works in the medical field. read more

Yep, a doctors office that gets four stars. I go to Doctor Underhill. What great "bedside manner". He was able to VERY tactfully tell me that I'm fat and drink and eat to much. I think there will be more salad reviews in my future. Seriously though, all the new patient forms are available on line so you can fill them out before you go. They are on time and even open for walk-ins on the weekend and you don't have to go off site to have your blood drawn. Good folks. read more

Was the worst customer service I've ever experienced .She had absolutely no bedside manner whatsoever through a very sensitive subject with my daughters mental health .I would not recommend this nurse practitioner to anyone. We love Dr. Patel there Dr. Underhill was great for years ,but I will not see this nurse practitioner ever again. The worst experience I've had with the staff since my family started going to this medical office. Christine in scheduling is rude and disrespectful. I will be finding another location for my family's medical needs in the future. I have 6 members of my family that have been going here for years...today, I called to confirm an appt and she couldn't locate my son anywhere in the system and then proceeded to be rude versus trying to help figure the situation out. For future customer service ratings, maybe look at your office staff in how they treat the patients when they're calling in to book and confirm appointments. read more

Not impressed. My husband and I are both patients of Tartaglia... I do think she's great but I wish she offered same day sick visits. However, both times my husband has been seen by Dr. Bryan Kurek, it's a crap diagnosis (both sinus infections). Really? My husband has never had issues like that and that's all you can come up with? So a week later, antibiotics, lab orders showing infection but an X-ray saying it's not his sinus'... we are back at square one with no help from him except to see an ENT or come back for an evaluation. Symptoms are the same, if not worse, since he came to him... not taking him back. read more

I have been going to Paseo for about 12 years now. I stopped going for a while because I was lied to by Dr Tolsen and swore I would never go to him again. I then started to see Dr Satya Patel as my PCP. His service has been alright, definitely better than the previous Doctor. My issue is with the lack of punctuality in that office. I understand the occasional delay and maybe 15 minutes delay is ok but if you can't meet your appointment times, you have too many patients to properly service them all. I've been told the excuse that they are short staffed and so there are longer delays. If you don't have the personnel the run your office with the appointment book schedule you have, book less appointments until you are fully staffed. read more

The patient care and customer service at Paseo has gone downhill quickly. From having to wait 3-4 weeks to schedule an appointment with your primary care doctor to showing up for appointments and waiting 30+ minutes after your scheduled time. It seems that they are more concerned about billing your insurance to get paid then they are helping out. My most recent experience I was given results on a test on a Monday and then given different results from the same test on Friday. They also refused to let me talk to the PA who I saw and insisted in scheduling another appointment. Again probably just so they can collect my co-pay and bill insurance. My advice... STAY AWAY AND FIND ANOTHER PROVIDER!! read more

The WORST Doctor's office and staff I have ever experienced. Extremely Unprofessional, and AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Medical Doctors and Staff can not keep in contact and REFUSE to follow-up for even simple injuries. Keep in mind, I have been a patient of theirs my whole life until today. Most recently, after having an ankle and foot injury due to an ATV accident, I visited Paseo to have my ankle examined. After immediately getting my food x-rayed next door at the imaging facility, the office proceeds to dodge my calls for the rest of the week. After numerous voicemails(I called and left a VM every day) and numerous times checking with the medical imaging office, I finally appeared in person to demand an analysis of the X-RAY I received. What do I know, but the doctor AND the Medical Representative refuse to even speak to me and all I receive is a piece of paper from the front office secretary. It took me having to physically walk into the medical imaging facility to separately get the X-Ray. Extremely Unprofessional and this Medical Group should not even be lawfully allowed to practice, complete joke and I hope Doctor Bryan Kurec sees this to see how irresponsible his staff acts. read more

I've been going to Dr. Underhill for about a year. He is a very kind and patient doctor. He listens to my concerns and has been great at giving me advice for weight loss. He specializes in working with obese patients and I feel very lucky to have found this clinic! He doesn't put you on a crash diet, or make you buy a specific meal program. I have been going here for 20 years. They consistently mess up on medical bills and can never see you same day. I tried to make an appointment and couldn't so went to urgent care who sent me to the ER to diagnose me with pneumonia and today I called because I'm not getting better and looks like I'll be headed back to an expensive ER trip. I was recommended to this clinic by a friend, who has had nothing but great experiences. My experiences have been horrible. I have a busy work schedule, so when I schedule an appointment weeks in advance, I don't want the clinic to tell me when I show up for the appointment that they can't see me because the doctor is now on vacation!!! Today, I went to get my meds re-filled, I asked them for a paper copy of my prescription; however, they said that now they do it by computer and no longer give paper copy. Then to find out, couple hours later that their system did not work and that I would need to come back in the office to pick them up. (no appologizes, just said..., system glitches, so if you want it, come and get it). Personally, I believe if they can charge for missed appoitement, then they should pay for my time, money spent driving back to the office and missed time from work or deliever it to pharmacy themselves. Dr. Tolson has been my doctor for about eight years and he is amazing! I've gone to him when I'm sick and of course he's been great. However, what had really set him apart is when I've gone to him needing advice on how to get the help I've needed following a car accident. Dr. Tolson is compassionate and has helped me in any way he can. He's been so wonderful I've paid the out of network cost when my insurance didn't cover him for awhile. I was refered to this medical group from being in the hospital, each time I have been to the office, the Dr comes in for 5 min, charges me a outrageous amount, made a payment to them, seems went to the wrong place, there is no record of them receiving it, have been on the phone for about 1 hour, still no one has a clue. the last visit, I was put in a far back room, they forgot about me, finally dr came in stayed 5 min. now I am having to track down the payment! will reconsider going back to this group! :( read more

I have been a patient of Paseo for many many years and have never had an issue. Yes, Sometimes the front desk or one particular nurse may have been a little unpleasant but, You have to put yourself in their shoes. It's a tough job and a LOT of patients are only coming in to get narcotics. I've seen it. I have have used most all their doctors from Dr. Anderson, Dr. Devive, and even Mrs. Dr. Patel. Right now, I'm a patient for Dr. Satya Patel who in my opinion is exceptional! He's personal, through and most of all, a straight shooter. I see the PA Brain mostly if I need a Dr's note for work or just for general medical concerns. ALL have been great! I highly recommend these physicians and staff. I only put one star so people will read this but, 5+ STARS for sure!! read more

My first visit with Dr. Divine was good. He was very attentive, answered my questions and was thorough. Then I got the bill for a couple hundred dollars. I was charged for every single thing we talked about. This happened every time I went there for months. I asked a lady at the front desk for an itemized bill and asked her to explain it to me. She had no idea what half the charges were for. The last straw was when I needed a refill and my pharmacy tried calling 3 times and this office never got back to them. I was a week late for taking a medicine that I CANNOT miss. Then when I got the refill, the dosage was wrong. You would think a doctor would know how dangerous this is. SO GLAD I found this place! I saw Dr Underhill and he is such a kind and patient person. Asked a bunch of questions, listened and made some recommendations. I'm not the type of person that gets sick often. I had to bring my daughter with me and she's quite chatty, but he listened to her and talked with her as well. I see Dr. Anderson as my primary care physician. He's an incredibly empathetic and professional doctor. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I have been a patient for a while just recently I had an appointment and DR Tolson needed to schedule do to him changing his schedule. His next appointment was over 30 days out. I was okay with that I then get a call from the office saying his schedule has changed again and he will be out of the office. I asked the lady when the next appointment to was available again another 30 plus days out. This was ridiculous I told her you have rescheduled me twice. She said there was nothing she can do. He is very knowledgable, cares about his patients, and listens. Horrible experience over a period of a year. Finally through hands up. 1# on three different occasions my doctor was scheduled 3 weeks out. If I wanted to be seen in reasonable time it was either per office manager's words well you could go to urgent care or emergency and pay more money for someone that does not want to do anything that may not work with my pcp. Great so I have to go there anyway is bottom line. When I opted to see another doctor in same office twice the treating physician would help some but still say need to see your own doctor for secertain med like blood pressure medication that I've taken for years. Are you kidding me. In my opinion this is FOR PROFIT NOT YOU Business! Then I asked well is there other Doctors that are not so booked out? The answer was yes so I was open to it again. Since switching doctors or any kind of medical coverage these days seams to be more frequent , different plans, coverages, etc. I felt it was important to ask a couple of basic Questions about doctor now they where recommending. I mean damn Im just looking to get in and be heard in reasonably good time, like that week preferably not 3 weeks. The office manager refused to answer basic questions regarding the recommended doctor. Then asked could you please put threw to her nurse practitioner in hopes of leaving a message to get a couple of basic ? Awnsered. She said no you need to make an apt. to get Awnsered. I explained before I decide if this is right doctor for me I just would like a couple minutes of her time before I go threw the hassle of switching doctors. Basically said no I do not want to help you. What I would say to anyone looking for medical office is check if there BBB accredited? If not this may be that there not that good and choose not to make themselves available for accountability like this one. They get an F Rating here on many levels. The Doctors and nurses here are second to none. The front staff staff however are awful. They are more concerned with collecting money than they are with patients. If you call in or deal with them in person -they are rude and unprofessional. Dont be surprised if you end up in the waiting room for a while because of their incompetence. read more

Probably the most efficient and easy to work with family practice that I have ever been! The front office and MA's are easy to deal with and are always helpful. Every doc that I have seen Turner, Anderson (no longer with the practice), Tolson, NP Sheri, PA Bryan, and now Dr Nebeker, have all been nothing less than competent and caring. As a provider myself, I can certainly appreciate the level of professionalism exhibited by the Paseo staff and its providers! My entire family goes to this practice. Just met Dr Underhill for the first time yesterday (6-15-17) I work for a Dentist office myself so customer service from the staff is very important to me. I did a lot of research on this as I have noticed most of people's complaints are not so much the doctor but how rude and inconsiderate the staff members are. Dr Underhill walked in the room & asked me how I was treated by his staff. BIG plus! Very important! Most of these physicians/dentists spend years in school etc only for 1 RUDE staff member to kill it for them! I have seen it happen. Basically, I had a great experience all the way around. Based alone on my experience with the practice administrator, Barb Robins, I would never recommend or go to this practice again. Not once did she return my phone calls or messages. She refused to speak with me when I asked to hold. I tried for close to a month for a response for help and never got it. Barb is the most unprofessional office manager I have ever worked with. Regardless of the answer, patients / businesses deserve a response. Barb's refusal and unwillingness to help is a reflection on the business she works at. As a self pay patient, I always make sure I call and find out how much an appointment is going to cost. I was a new patient and they told me the fee was $75-$85. I arrived at the office , paid my $85 and was in the room shortly after paperwork. The Dr then told me she was going to test me for "everything in the book including E coli". They NEVER once told me each swab was going to cost $85+. They didn't prescribe me an antibiotic even though it was very clear I needed one. Three days later they called in a script. I asked for pills and they said it wasn't an option and wouldn't tell me why but gel was my only option. Of course the pills cost $20 and the gel is $100. 1 week later, I receive a bill from the lab for almost $500. A little common courtesy and communication would have been much appreciated here. I wouldn't have been tested for BV at this office if I would have known the entire visit was going to cost me almost $700!!!! I called the office enraged and was told "we don't mention additional fees so that our patients aren't discouraged from receiving treatment." So be prepared to get blindsided with hidden fees. I left a message with a supervisor and expressed my concerns and was never called back. read more
