During a pouring rain, the technician who came to my house to check for leaks in the ducts arrived exactly on time, even though I live way out in the country. He found and repaired a small leak, strapped up sagging ducts under, completely mapped out the system including the locations of all the registers and the sizes of the ducts. He was polite and amazingly efficient. Total professionalism. read more

Have worked with them over a span of 8 year now. When they arrive the work is good and they are very professional. That is if they arrive. The office is notorious for cancelling appointments at the last second. The first occurrence was in 2013. We did not have any heat and our infant son had a fever. They knew the situation but cancelled last second twice. They stated that their regular customers all had the same problem and they had to address them first. Now forward to 2020. Made the appointment two weeks in advance. The working day before the appointment they cancelled it the last second also. When I called to ask why they stated the same excuse. Now we are in South County and they are in Paso Robles. My take is that they service their local customers first and if they have enough customers in South County, then they will come. It has happened too many times for me to say that this is a coincidence. I would stay away from this company if you live in the South County. read more

I'm very disappointed in Paso Robles Heating and Air. I called them last week to get an estimate on replacing my HVAC. I work night shift so we set up an appointment for Friday at 2:00pm. I woke up early from working the night before and waited. No one showed up nor bothered to call. Poor customer service!!! Guess I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Don deserves another 5 star review on Yelp after our experience with him and his staff this week. Knowing that I needed an upgrade on my system, I called Paso Heating and Air to schedule a quote. I had called one of his competitors earlier and they seemed too busy to send someone out to work up a quote (it was summer, after all). But, after calling PRHA, I was able to get an appointment with someone within a matter of a couple days. Ends up that is was Don (the president) that made the house call. While reviewing my current system with Don, I could tell that they don't get any more honest and legit than Don. I didn't bother even shopping around after talking with him. I later found out that Don actually installed my father-in-law's system back in the early 80's when PRHA started business. One of his first installs. So, the choice for me was clear. We had our system installed last night. The crew did a great job keeping things 'clean' in terms of the installation and the removal of the old system. Don called me around 4pm to inform me that he was headed to my house for a final inspection. When I arrived at home after work (6:45pm), Don was still there. Turns out that my Nest thermostat unit was not playing nice and Don had been on the phone with their customer service for over an hour (until his phone died), trying to get it all to work. He gave it a hell of an effort. I told him to go home, and I would continue the call with Nest to get it all worked out. Turns out, I had a faulty Nest base plate, and Nest sent out a new unit. Don had left me a normal thermostat in the meantime to get me and the family through the weekend. Can't say enough about a company like PRHA. They really treated us well. Very hard working company crew. What we thought would be smooth to get bids turned out to be 3+ weeks and no follow through on some until we called Paso Robles Heating & Air. Came out and spent some time measuring and in the attic then a quote a week later. After so many we knew this was the crew and they came out and spent two days installing. You just don't realize how much has to be designed and engineered until you see the whole picture. The first day was hailing rain when they arrived and thought oh well rained out. No they just kept going and all turned out well with high end Lennox. Can tell they have been doing this a long time. The owner himself drove out and double checked on everything also. Tiffany and Candice in the office were very helpful and worked hard to fit a technician into our schedule. Kurt was helpful as well prior to Dany coming out to do the work. Dany was absolutely professional the whole time, even working for over two hours late on a Friday night. When he wasn't happy with the part he installed, he called another tech to drop another part off to be assured it would work correctly. We originally started this process with that "smart" company and I will tell you, not smart to go with them. The price "smart" quoted was over two times what Paso Heating did the job for. I discovered Paso Roble Heating & A/C I called there office and was informed that there was an 1/2 off coupon. My appointment was made, two gentlemen came to my home on time. There where polite and with a smile. As they fine tuned both unites, they explained what they where doing. They replace frayed wires and filters. They where here for over an hour, they did great work, and respected my home and property. Great outfit! read more

We lost our central heat at our pet resort. Thank goodness the weather has been fair. As a small local business, we are always cautious about our expenses, and do everything we possibly can on our own. After finding we were in over our heads on this one, Kirt made his way to us same day. The schedule was 8-10 days out, but they knew we had to keep the pups warm. Kirt was thorough and knowledgeable, and had us up and going in about two hours. Reasonable rates and fair prices on parts. Reputable, Honest and fast. Oh did I mention friendly. I have a home in Paso and it was not working with 100+ degrees outside. I had called another service first and they told me my AC which is 4 years old needed a new compressor and freon and a leak check totaling $2500. I thought this was a rip off so I called in Paso Robles Heating and Air because of the god review here on yelp and they did not disappoint me, They fixed my system by replacing a capacitor relay within 30 minutes and charged me $219.
