I cannot recommend this place enough. Every single thing I've had has been delicious. Must tries are the chicken caesar and italian cold subs (perfect beach subs), the cubano, and the cinnamon roll. We went on a Sunday night not realizing the store was closing in 10 minutes . Thankfully one gentleman allowed us to make our purchases of over $200. I failed to get pictures of the store but have pictures of what we purchased and warmed up. The meatballs were amazing and tender with a beautiful mellow and flavorful sauce. One of my favorite businesses in Bethany! The pastries are all dynamite but the cro-muffins are our fave, try to snag these if you see them! Also great cold coffee options - cold brew AND nitro! They have a few breakfast sandwich options. All their lunch options are amazing - sandwiches, salads, fresh pastas, and the pizzas are great. Everything we've tried has been amazing and we always go more than once when we're down at the shore. There's a few tables outside for a quick bite but it's definitely more of a grab and go place. We LOVE the restaurant across the street, so we were excited when the market open a few years ago. I have been many times and can guarantee this 5 star review. I have to stop in at this market every time I come to the beach. The sandwiches are always a fun new selection, the case of deli foods are always fun to get sides for the condo for the week, and the desserts never disappoint. Our go to favorites are the Aranchini if it's there, roasted veggie, and whatever protein they have as the selection. Our go to desserts are the brownie (chewiest bakery brownie I've ever had), the mini pies, and the olive oil cake. We also love shopping the little market. Always an interesting find and the reliable always in stock Italian staples in the fridges. My day trip to Rehobath landed me to this Italian market which was recommended by my friends sister Judy. I was overwhelmed with all the delicious choices. I purchased some fresh pasta and the bolognese sauce. Both were superb. I also purchased the sesame roll and got a variety of sweets (cookies, biscotti, and chocolate moose). This is a true hidden gem, off the beaten path. Found it on Yelp and decided to try and am so glad I did. A small Italian deli with a big punch. "Fresh" pasta display, baked goods galore, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, pizza, etc. I had the Pistachio and Mortadella with Stracciatella, pistachio's and lemon aioli on foccacia. My family and I decided to get desserts. I was browsing around and went to the deli's side. The shrimp salad looks good, but I'm saving that for another day. So, I bought a 1/2 lb. Pasta salad Italian style. It was delicious! Also, I had a 1/4 lb. dry pasta salad. It was also good. I'm not a fan of chick peas but it was so well made that I enjoyed it. I will be back later to get the Italian cold cut and some shrimp salad. Also. I am going to try the Italian panini before I leave the beach. Love Italian Markets with sandwiches/subs, pastries, coffee, etc so as I was checking out Yelp and saw DiFebo's I was sold. Drove over around 1pm on a Saturday and surprisingly no wait. We ordered 2 Chicken Parm subs and 2 Roast Pork w/broccoli rabe. Order a few pastries as they look legit - cinnamon rolls, cream puff, crumb cake. We ordered and move to the side to wait. They ask for your name and you have a number on your receipt. 10 minutes goes by...20 minutes. Hmmm what's taking so long?? Maybe lots of folks pre-ordered...patience. I go up to ask if they called our number. The lady looks and says no not yet. Ok. Another 10-15 mins goes by. I go back up to the lady and tell her I've been waiting 40 minutes. She is curt and says let me check. Checks with the cook...he says they made it but they can't find it. They say somebody probably took our subs. No apology...just asks me if somebody picked it up...how do I know??? Isn't that your job??? Ok great...this is what patience gets you. While we wait next to the lady the guy behind the pastry counter asks everyone to move to the other side of the store to avoid crowding. I am not moving because I've been waiting 50 minutes and they lose track of orders if you don't keep an eye on things. The moral-don't be so patient and keep track of what's going on here so you don't end up sitting around for an hour. Finally 10 minutes later we get our subs. The lady does give us 4 gratis cookies (which were delicious) but yeah..too little too late. We go back to our place and nobody can believe we haven't eaten yet. Disaster. Food is tasty...service on the other hand is lacking. If they made a mistake they should own up to it and be apologetic...didn't get that vibe at all...lots of other options at Bethany. read more

Well- I went in to grab a few things as I frequently do. I haven't done a review but I'm tired of them rushing customers, not listening to customers and not being cordial. A few days ago I bought some pre made veggies for my family. They charged me for albacore tuna salad and not broccolini - yes it was a mistake but if they would take the time to really pay attention to what they are doing things like this wouldn't happen.Customer service is important - I hope they try to improve on that arena. read more

A rare restaurant/ deli in this beach town without fish nets and crabs on the wall. This place would thrive in NYC...it is great. Everything is good especilly the bread, baked goods and eggplant parm. In a town loaded with schlock seafood joints and cheap Mexican restaurants this place is a breath of fresh air. We ordered two pizzas from Difebo's Market for dinner tonight since they had a "buy one, get one 50% off" special on their pizzas. We called ahead and it only took about 20 minutes for them to be prepared. The inside of the shop is well kept and has a cute upscale vibe. Both pizzas were pretty good, but the fig pizza had lots of salt on a few slices. The ricotta pizza was very good but was lacking something other than cheese. We would go back to try their other food or different pizzas again. read more

So I came all the way from salisbury maryland to eat and purchase items at the market. They have tables to sit down and eat at. In the summertime they have a bunch of tables outside. Every time i have been in the they have a sign on the bathroom door saying out of order On several occasions I have to ask if we can use it because it's not out of order. They jut keep the sun up there. Today they did the same thing. I said come on that sign has always been there. I said I have a three year old and we traveled from salisbury and you still won't let us use the bathroom. We were sitting at one of the tables that customers were using to eat the meals and our table was very unstable. My coffee spills not because I knocked it over but because the table wasn't stable and no one helped us until i went and searched out a helper and than never even offered to replace my coffee. I don't care how good the food maybe their attitude was unacceptable. I won't be coming back with the type of customer service . read more

I always buy morning muffins to eat at the market, for my 3 hour trip back home. Approx. a month ago my husband And I tasted a gritty sandy consistency in the muffins, we had never experienced before and we did not finish eating them. i called the market and explained what happened. The muffins were only $4.00 each. I was told when I come back to town, my muffins would be replaced - no big deal. Today i went to the market to buy chicken and shrimp salad. When I asked about the muffins at the register, I was directed to someone else. This man asked me who I spoke to and if I had a receipt from almost a month ago. I handed him my credit card so he could look up the transaction. He said he would have to check all his invoices to repace two $4.00 muffins. I would not have asked for the 2 muffins if it had not been suggested I come back for them. The reason I went to the market was to buy the salads and then I remembered the muffin experience and phone call. After the way this was handled, in front of other customers, I decided to leave and not buy anything. Not sure where the customer satisfaction on this situation was. read more

It's so-so. Waited 15 minutes in a not very crowded market for coffee recently. The service is slow and not good. No one seems to have an assigned job except the cooks. Not every costumer needs to have a conversation with the already mediocre staff. The partition makes it difficult for the staff to even hear your order if you want a pastry. The flow from left to right to loop back around to the left to pay makes no sense and causes quite a bottle neck. Still not sure where the heck you even order the fresh made pasta bc it's not at the coffee bar or the pastry section or the sandwich section or the prepared foods section. There's also some busted AC which became an issue this past summer. The food is decent enough to maintain a customer base despite the backwards flow and foreign exchange students working at a true European pace. The owner had a little note on the whiteboard written that she doesn't appreciate reviews and wish things would be sent her via email. That's a little pathetic and cowardly. read more
