Came here for a day trip with my GF and we had an amazing time, to say the least. Sherry was a great host and introduced me to an amazing selection of whites, reds and rosé's. The hour we spent there went by quickly with the amazing conversation and suggestions of where to go. Hit up a few spots she mentioned and both were awesome. Thank you. Coming back. read more

After working through all of the wine tasting stops in Jerome, I can now say that Passion is my favorite. The wines are delicious. My favorite on the last stop was a dry riesling, which will be perfect for summer. The service was even better. We had met Stephanie the night before at Cabal Cellars, which I guess is a partner wine shop, and she remembered us. She has such personality, and she made our experience terrific. They also sell balsamics and olive oils there, and I was able to bring home some habanero olive oil as a gift for my husband who is not a wine drinker. Passion would definitely be a go-to spot for me in Jerome. read more

Great wine, service and pet friendly. They were recommended by our hotel and are also pet friendly. Well, it was so hot but we decided to go try anyway. Not only are they pet friendly but you can bring your dog inside which was perfect and very much appreciated. We both did a wine tasting which was amazing and so we bought a bottle of wine from Stephanie and spent the afternoon enjoying ourselves. read more

WOW! Michelle took amazing care of us. We Loved the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Pinot Noir. The difference in flavor compared to other Cabs and Pinots we've tried is unmatchable! got 2 bottles and a free tasting! This place was wonderful! This was our first stop on our wine tasting journey in Jerome. I even loved the 17 steps it takes to get to the tasting room. The wine is excellent and my friend and I ended up buying two bottles each. Our wine connoisseur was funny, personable and kept us quite entertained. Oh and very knowledgeable, gave us some tips and tricks on wine tasting. I don't even care that there's a ghost in the ladies restroom lol lol Joking aside the wine here is top notch! I was able to put my wine tasting classes to good use. I knew exactly what I wanted and what I wanted to taste. My taste buds did a happy dance so I had to buy some to bring home. Pasion Cellars has two of the best employees on the planet. Stephanie and McKenzie serves the finest wine available. My wife and I have visited some of the best wineries in the US and abroad. I live in Prescott and often make the trip to Jerome to taste the great wines at Passion Cellars. These wines along with the service rank a five star service level. Stephanie goes above and beyond to explain the quality and harvesting technique always with compassion and a great smile. Her husband McKenzie also provides great information about the different wines and taste pairings. I strongly suggest patrons to stop by the winery and try their quality wines. Service will exceed your expectations and who knows you may take some of this great wine home to enjoy I always do and truly enjoy it with our meals or as a social hour with our friends. Passion was a fun quick stop while walking through Jerome. The service here was the best we experienced in town and the variety in the wine tasting offerings was pleasant. A basic tasting room offers wine and oils for sale, overall a nice visit. read more

Delicious wines. Knowledgeable staff and really fun. Don't miss the reserve flight. The Zinfandel and Barbera reserve are amazing. If you buy a couple bottles, no charge for the tastings. I was visiting family and wanted to try a winery here in AZ. I'm from California Central Coast which is known for great wine and I was pleasantly surprised how tasty their wine is. This tasting room is in a fun, small ghost town and the drive to this location was beautiful. The tasting room attendant was very sweet and knowledgeable. Well worth taking the Beutiful drive to taste delightful wines and visit this cute ghost town. read more

Stopped in during my visit from the valley and was greeted by a lady who was extremely friendly. Great wine, great experience and is a must go to when in Jerome. I highly recommend the Eidolon and the Pinot Noir. read more

I really do not enjoy leaving negative reviews, but hopefully this helps this business redirect into a more positive place. Upon entrance, tons of seating, okay ambiance. The woman that helped us was very unfriendly and snobby. I appreciate someone that can educate without being rude. Instead of learning about the wine, she wanted to flex her own muscles and just overall had zero customer service skills. The wine. Very sweet rose. Not really for us. We asked for 2 glasses which the lady insisted we buy a bottle which we did. At the end when it was time to tip, she started being extra friendly to us. I think the business could benefit from hiring someone new to be the face of the company at this location. We sadly will skip this on our next trip to Jerome. read more

No "passion" in the service received so much more could be done with the space, the women's inside was not very welcoming, a flight wasn't a flight it was a one by one unserved tasting. Pass it up and drink their wine elsewhere! Wine was okay. No food read more

Wine tasting here was fun! We walked in and was greeted right away. We were the only couple in here till we got through two of the wines we tasted. You can do agave nectar wines or 5 wines on there list for $12. If you buy wine they wave your tasting fee. She started us with the Jerome white which was very light and dry. My type of wine. We tatted their Pinot Grigio, a rose (which was my favorite), then a Cabernet Sauvignon, and a few others. She let us taste their dessert wine as a bonus pour, but this wasn't for me. The lady that was pouring out wines was very friendly, and explained everything in great detail. Overall we had a great time! read more

We stopped in the Passion Cellars on our recent visit to Jerome. My wife and I decided to do a red flight tasting. We enjoyed the wines. Our favorites were the 2014 Nebbiolo and the 2014 Merlot Reserve. Both would be decent wines for the dinner table. When we realized they were affliated with Salvatore Vineyards, Ginger gave us passes for the tasting room in Scottsdale. We didn't get to use the passes on this trip but we are saving them for the next visit to Phoenix. read more

As far as tasting rooms in Jerome are concerned, this is probably my favorite. I don't think I have tried a wine here that I absolutely did not like. Of course I have my favorites (Hell's Half Acre, Anglianico, Day Tripper), but overall they are just really good. I have been here twice and the staff is also very friendly and helpful. If you drink wine often and love their wines, the club membership seems like a great value. We had considered joining, but we just don't drink enough for it to be an option for us. read more

Cool tasting room. Plenty of room to stand at the bar and also some couches to sit on. In addition to the tasting, we ordered a cheese and meat plate (incl fruit) that was really good. They had a good variety of wines ranging from sweet to the typical. For my husband and I, this is great as we have very different tastes in wines. I really enjoyed this tasting room and their wines. read more

My wife and I decided we wanted to experience all that a little city called Jerome had to offer. We parked the car and started to walk down the street. This is the place she darted into first. When we both walked in we were greeted by a very nice younger lady. She asked us if we would like to wine taste today. Of course, my wife was like YES, so we sat down at the bar. She handed us a menu to share, where we got to pick 5 wines on the list for $12.00. She suggested that we do different wines so we could try everything that they had to offer. So she poured my wife first the Pinot Grigo while I tried a different white (can't remember what it was called). We went through a couple whites, a rose colored wine, and then to reds. The lady pouring the wines explained each one, while talking to us about where we both were from and what brought us to jerome. she explained to us about their winery, where the grapes were grown etc. We always like to get the history that goes along with the tasting. After we had gone through all our tastes in our 5 wines to choose from, she started to pour us more on the house which was awesome. We got to try some of their dessert wines too. Coming from California, I wasn't thinking I was going to enjoy tasting Arizona wines but I was pleasantly surprised. If you are with a romantic partner or your girlfriends....I highly recommend the 5 glass pour with the meat and cheese platter! Just don't leave your wine behind like we did! Lol KS read more

Passion Cellars was our last wine tasting stop of the day in Jerome. We definitely saved the best for last! Our server, Kari, was so sweet and friendly. She took her time, explaining each wine, she was attentive and invited us to sit on the open porch with the most gorgeous view! She brought our tastings to us and helped us take a perfect family picture, moving tables and chairs for the best view and lighting. The Chardonnay and Malbec were our favorites. We left with a bottle of Malbec, souvenir wine glasses, and the most comfortable t-shirt. Kari helped me find the size I needed and wrapped our wine glasses carefully for the trip home. Our tasting experience was the perfect "blend" of great wines, great service, and great views! Thank you Kari and Passion Cellars for the perfect ending to our day! read more

The wine is decent. The bottles in all the Jerome stores are overpriced but I guess that is the general atmosphere for everything there because it is Jerome. Our main problem was the odd service. The person behind the counter didn't have a lot of positive things to say about AZ wines. It came across as CA or nothing for him. Didn't even like the Mexican food in AZ. Not really sure why he is working there and not back where he really wants to be. Strange considering he sells mostly or all AZ wines there. We will find someplace else to go next time. read more

She was a lot of fun to chat with, and she remembered us when we visited their sister winery, Passion. Cabal is also a lot of fun with their imagery and designs on their wine bottles.

The garden spaces were luxurious with a lake and a path to walk. The animals were so cute. There were sheep and a very friendly donkey among them. And then a musician started up on the porch and he was great! Very chill and just added to the relaxing vibe. Lots of seating options here, inside and outside. Wine is really good. A pond with a fountain and another fountain that feeds into a bubbling creek really add to the atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We have been amazed... that the Southwest and especially the Verde Valley area has so many viticultural qualities that stand out. Being somewhat connoisseurs of good vino we're always on the lookout for more extraordinary and delicious wines in Arizona. Wine enjoyment is very subjective, and our tastes may not reflect yours but what we have found here at the Chateau Tumbleweed Winery defines the regions wine eminence and potential. Of most the wines tried an overwhelming number we found to be of high quality. Their white, red, and rosé varieties are a refined sort, giving each a uniqueness that one can distinguish from other vintners. They have made a specific point of utilizing some of the best of the best vineyards across Arizona thereby designing their own distinctive approbation to their own product. Some our faves on our visit are the refined Cimmaron Vinyard Mourvèdre 2022, the pixelating Picford Blanc 2023, the refreshing Rex 2022 and the exhilarating Miss Sandy Jones 2023. We took some home! Miss Sandy, Mourvedre, Rose and Dos Amigos. Enjoying a few wine choices at their location is a relaxing, enjoyable and flavorful happening as they offer a calming and comforting outdoor patio area conducive to sipping and enjoying. If you're wine connoisseurs like us, you will enjoy a pause here for some refreshing and enjoyable sips on the patio.

I'd probably get it again and ask to do that (6.5/10) or a (8/10) when I added the chicken Chicken piccata - this dish was good, chicken was a little dry. There were a few tables and cute decor on the patio. The ladies were super friendly and welcoming to our group. There were really wonderful. We arrived maybe an hour before they closed. We were offered a complimentary charcuterie board to go with our tasting, which was a very nice touch. The tasting is great because it's flexible. You can choose which wines you'd like to try from the list. You can double up if you enjoyed a particular one. Even though we arrived late in the day, we never felt rushed. They let us sit there and chill while they closed up shop. They were happy to let us take some photos among the vines before we left. This is a wonderful place to visit if you get a chance. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again. Until then, our push pins mark our visit.

I recently visited Passion Cellars during a trip to Jerome, Arizona, and I must say the experience left much to be desired. Our unfortunate encounters with the server were incredibly disappointing and left us questioning the choice of employees made by the establishment. Our visit to Passion Cellars started on a sour note. The server, who identified herself as the manager, greeted us with an attitude that was anything but welcoming. She appeared disinterested and seemed to lack enthusiasm for her role. Her demeanor left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. We had traveled all the way from Sedona to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Jerome and indulge in some wine tasting. Unfortunately, we left Passion Cellars without even attempting to taste their wines due to the off-putting experience. I sincerely hope the business owner takes note of these experiences and reconsiders their approach to staffing. It is crucial to hire individuals who genuinely want to work in a service-oriented industry and who take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Our marked by a disinterested staff, were far from what we had anticipated. In light of these experiences, I cannot recommend Passion Cellars to fellow travelers. It's unfortunate that we couldn't enjoy the unique wine tasting opportunities in Jerome due to the lackluster service at this establishment. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for the owner, and I encourage them to take the necessary steps to improve the visitor experience. read more

Terrible Service! We came up from PHX with relatives from out of state to show them Jerome. We decided to have a tasting at Passion Cellars. The server was rude throughout the entire stay and service. She was the manager apparently and her name was Michelle. She could describe the wines well but her attitude was disgusting. We got out of there and went elsewhere. We will never return again. Bad Service. Terrible Management. read more

This winery is an absolute gem! Their wine tasting room is so comfy and they have an impressive selection of wines. I was especially captivated by their red wine, Eidolon! Its rich flavors, smooth texture, and lingering finish..this is a serious wine. Highly recommended! read more

Upon arriving I walked up behind a family of three. We obeyed the sign and waited outside for seating. Someone showed up with three menus and took the family. I was left standing there for another 5 minutes. The lady who came by, happened to come over but it was not to get me. She told me to sit and did not offer a menu. 2 I went to an empty table. All seats had water. I asked the waitress for a napkin so that I could dry the seats. She said, "oh I got it" and then came to wipe the seats down with a wet dish rag. I was flabbergasted. I asked for a napkin and pointed out that the rag was wet and she said we are out of napkins. I said okay maybe a dry rag?! I watched people receive food water. Some tables received multiple waters. Me....nothing. 3. After 10-12 minutes I ordered wine and tried to order tacos. It was 2:30 and apparently the food truck was closed. I ordered spinach and artichoke dip.!the plate came out beautifully but had tons of fresh cucumber and veggies. I'm allergic to cucumber. I say I'm so sorry but I'm allergic. The response, "can I just take that off?" Ummm...no. The cucumber is on top of the bread. 4. Not the views I was hoping for. 5. I just wasn't pleased. I'm not sure if it is because I was a solo diner and easy to overlook or what but this place just made a pleasant Arizona trip a little sour.
