Staff was very knowledgeable of the options when winetasting. They also had non-alcoholic beverages. The view was fantastic! The inside of the business was full of old things to look at. And we were there on Martin Luther king Junior day and there was an old radio tape machine playing that I had a dream speech. It truly made the experience eclectic. Prices were fair except for the stemware which was very overpriced. Restrooms are downstairs and you have to have a ticket before you go to down there and the staff down there was not too friendly. A bit rude! Would return for the wine!

I had to stop by here today since a friend of mine had bought a bottle last year from the store next door (two doors down) that is also a part of this same project supported by Maynard. Along with being a fan of Maynard's music, the wine was fantastic. So research into what else they had was absolutely needed. We got as far as this first spot and the very first wine I tried (and only one I tried as I was hooked), wound up in a sale. They don't have much of a selection compared to the other spot a few doors down, but so far, I like it a lot. It isn't about wine so much as it is the records though for this one, as it is mostly a record store with some apparel downstairs and the small wine bar/tasting in the back. Record prices seemed on part with that of something like Guitar Center, so that was nice to see, and the staff was awesome. They were also very adamant about using the hand sanitizer on the way in and the use of masks to help protect everyone during COVID concerns. It's a fun place to hit if you're a fan of music, records, and wine. I actually visited the store this round with the same friend that found the bottle last time for me. He has his own review he wanted to add as well (albeit straight to the point and unique in his very own way): "Rango gives the wine store 5 waffles. Excellent. Clean and professional. -- Robert Grant" So that is my review, with some added info from a special guest reviewer.

This place is VERY interesting. A wine co-op with super interesting merch! Theres wine on tap at the bar and a little lounge are as well as high top table seating with a beautiful view. There was tons of vinyl records for sale as we walked in and tons of cool/different gifts/souvenirs. It had kind of a Spencer's gifts vibe only cooler. There is also and actual barber shop in the basement. There's an old cigarette machine that has been converted into a mini art machine. You buy tokens from the cashier and put one in the machine, chose an option, and out pops a little piece of original art from a local artist!

At the Certified LocalAZ First Fall Festival in Phoenix I met Aaron Weiss. He is a tasting room teller for Four Eight Wineworks. After sampling "Merum", a delightful red from Iniquus Cellars, I was surprised to learn two things. Four Eight Wineworks is a coop. Their tasting room offers beer (open 7 days a week). Winemaking can be an expensive adventure. This cooperative enables almost anyone to join the pursuit of creating "that amazing bottle of wine". It's no wonder Four Eight Wineworks was at a LocalAZ event. Their wines are truly local products, created by local folk. Four winemakers plus a house wine are available for tasting in their Clarksdale space. Three local beers are on tap. And (there's more!) you can comfortably fit 48 for a party. Four-t-y Eight. Isn't that cute of them? Hours of operation are 12-7pm every day of the week. (Thanks Aaron!)

Great wine co-op with a large variety of wines from multiple vineyards. Comfy and cozy atmosphere.

What a please surprise in a town that does not have a lot going on. First of the building is an old bank and a super cool atmosphere. There is a little bit of space for outside seating which was perfect since we had the dogs. The owner was very friendly and spent time with us and very helpful and willing to accomadte us with the pets. We had a couple of flights with a nice selection if diffent wines and they all were excellent. They are part of a co-op and again have a very nice selection.

It is such a huge winery/ranch that has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating plus animals and garden spaces. If we could've stayed here for 2 hours, we would have but unfortunately I think we were only here for a little less than 1 hour due to the drive and the other wineries we visited. The garden spaces were luxurious with a lake and a path to walk. The animals were so cute. There were sheep and a very friendly donkey among them. The wine was, of course, tasty and we enjoyed the fact that there was a small food truck on site that had other items for purchase. Instead of a flight, I went with a couple of glasses recommended by staff and they were spot on! Took the wine outside to sit in an Adirondack chair in the shade by the little creek and just relaxed. A pond with a fountain and another fountain that feeds into a bubbling creek really add to the atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We have been amazed... that the Southwest and especially the Verde Valley area has so many viticultural qualities that stand out. Being somewhat connoisseurs of good vino we're always on the lookout for more extraordinary and delicious wines in Arizona. Wine enjoyment is very subjective, and our tastes may not reflect yours but what we have found here at the Chateau Tumbleweed Winery defines the regions wine eminence and potential. Of most the wines tried an overwhelming number we found to be of high quality. Their white, red, and rosé varieties are a refined sort, giving each a uniqueness that one can distinguish from other vintners. They have made a specific point of utilizing some of the best of the best vineyards across Arizona thereby designing their own distinctive approbation to their own product. Some our faves on our visit are the refined Cimmaron Vinyard Mourvèdre 2022, the pixelating Picford Blanc 2023, the refreshing Rex 2022 and the exhilarating Miss Sandy Jones 2023. We took some home! Miss Sandy, Mourvedre, Rose and Dos Amigos. Enjoying a few wine choices at their location is a relaxing, enjoyable and flavorful happening as they offer a calming and comforting outdoor patio area conducive to sipping and enjoying. If you're wine connoisseurs like us, you will enjoy a pause here for some refreshing and enjoyable sips on the patio.
