Ok, might have been an off day for them. We had an older gentleman, very soft spoken and difficult to understand. We showed up and not a sole there. 5 minutes into his speak another group shows up and he starts all over! Five minuets later two more show up and we get to Start over again! 20 min go by and now he helps that last customers with their tastings. lol To top it off one couple bought $8.00 worth of samples and he charged them $10.00. We had a party of 6 and no one enjoyed the wine. Sadly it's just an old run down place. Might be ok for this area but not what most would consider a "winery". read more

Really enjoyed our tasting experience at Clear Creek Vineyard. First time here. We've tried numerous wineries in the cottonwood/Camp Verde area and, so far, this was our favorite. George was great! Very pleasant, easy-going and knowledgeable. We tried five reds and really enjoyed most of the wines; especially the Cabernet Franc and the Cabernet Merlot. read more

Barbara is a lovely host. She was working by herself, running everything. So it wasn't the quickest and some folks around were a bit cranky about it. But I repeat....she was doing it ALL and BY HERSELF. She was doing great. She also obviously cares about the business and the wine itself and she wants to tell you about it too! So be patient and listen. You'll get your tasting soon enough. The space is interesting for sure. A gravel parking lot area on land that adjoins the owners home. A small building for the business, outdoor seating areas, and a perma-porta-potty trailer with running water in it (like the VIP areas at music festivals). We seated ourselves and were greeted at the table by Barbara. You get 6 tastings for $12. At the current time, that is basically their entire offerings. The white semi-dry port is delicious and interesting. A style variation I have never encountered. We certainly enjoyed ourselves, but for our palates we didn't like any of the wines enough to buy a bottle to bring home with us. Certainly worth a visit if you are someone who loves visiting wineries, trying new vintages, and particularly if you like DRY wines. They are all very dry. If you are short on time, maybe skip it until you can be a little flexible. read more

We came here for a tasting this past Friday and Barbara was very informative about each of the wines. She also gave very helpful recommendations on restaurants and a place to stay for the next trip. We both enjoyed their Cabernet Sauvignon. The tasting room is very basic but the outside area is beautiful with a lot of tables to choose from. I recommend coming here when it cools down a bit and sitting outside. read more

Stopped in on way to Sedona and ended up staying 2 hours. The wine was very good and the experience was even better. The Owner spent a lot of time with us sharing his story and made the visit that much more memorable. This is a unique winery. They are probably one of the only Estate wineries in AZ and they are small, growing all there grapes on only 8 acres but it shows in the quality of the wine. When you drive in go to the right, it's the building over there with the chairs in front of it. The tasting is extremely informative teaching you all about grapes and growing. We learned things we never knew. Honestly that was worth the tasting price, wine was just a bonus. It is a very small building so know that when you show up, but you have to check this place out. read more

The menu said 6 tastings for $10 but maybe our guy liked us & the other couple in the tasting room but we got 7 tastings . We visited Clear Creek on a sunny October Friday afternoon. We were greeted promptly and asked to pick a table with tasting notes on it. There were only a couple of other tables occupied. The lady that served us did a wonderful job presenting each wine and offering suggested food pairings. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and able to answer any question we asked. We did enjoy ourselves; however, the wines were not to our taste as we prefer bolder wines. We will continue on the wine trail! read more

Nice winery but bad management one elderly lady serving guest she had to turn customers away due to being the only staff. Right away a party of four told don't sit here and there yet 2 people sitting at tables for 4 people. One person staff stressed because she is doing EVERYTHING serving EVERYONE 20+ people. She is bussing tables, serving, checking out we felt for her. It is the owner and management who is responsible. Wine just okay nothing worth purchasing. I will not recommend this place. I really like this winery. You get a tasting of 7 wines for $10. Each tasting comes along with a personal story about the owner. I really enjoyed it here. I will be back for sure. This is a beautiful little winery nestled in off the 260 in Camp Verde. Upon walking in your greeted by an abundance of flowers and wines reminiscent of something you would see in a European city like Lugano or Zurich. There is everything from rustic seating consisting of cinder blocks and wood planks for tables and chairs and is super comfy to the cushier padded seating to bistro tables. My favorite two red wines here are the Terciopelo and the Primos. Somedays you will be greeted by the owner who is a laid back and pleasant gentleman who definately has a passion for great wine. read more

Literally stumbled into this place after camping for the weekend and hiking Fossil Creek. We came in dusty and burnt on a Sunday afternoon, entirely expecting the place to be closed. To our delight they were open and there was only one other group. We tried the wine tasting which at $6 a person was a total steal. We were started out with whites, each different blends of wines that were as distinct as they were delicious. Our server explained each wine to us in great and loving detail, elaborating on the owner, Ignacio's unique approach to crafting these incredible wines. We were given three white samples and ended with three red samples, which I have to admit I'm usually not a fan of but these were incredible. The vineyard itself is stunning, I would have loved to walk the grounds a bit but by that time all our phones were as dead as we felt. Definitely worth stopping in, I know we'll be back! read more

My fiancé bought an assorted case of Clear Creek Vineyard wines during our first weekend away together when we just started dating. He was of course pretending to like wine cause he liked me. After finishing off the case and a few more bottles, now he really does love wine. We included a bottle of our favorite in our engagement photo shoot because we have shared so many wonderful memories with this wine. It's got a punch, but tastes delicious- dangerous. But amazing! Stopped at the winery on the way back to Phoenix from a day in Sedona and were thoroughly impressed with the wines. All of the wines were excellent in our opinion and the tasting provided details that made the wines even more enjoyable. The vines are not accessible to visitors but the small tasting room and tables are comfortable in good weather. The woman doing the tastings was friendly and accommodating of my group. We stumbled across this lovely winery and vineyard after our Fossil creek hike. Immediately upon entering the grounds we were greeted with beautiful blooming hollyhocks and sunflowers. George welcomed us with hospitality and shared great knowledge of the wines and history of the vineyards. We all indulged in a tasting while sitting at a Italian style bistro table under the shade of huge trees. We enjoyed our visit even getting a chance to speak with the owners a bit about their love and passion for the winery and vineyard . Most importantly, the wine is excellent, with some staples like a clean and refreshing chardonel. On the other hand, they have more obscure options like a dry and elegant white port.
