She has always been really great at scheduling me in when I've had time constraints. I've been having my hair cut and highlighted by Julie for more than ten years. She does INCREDIBLE work. She is the reason I fly all the way from New York to Wisconsin. April (another stylist at the salon), has done my hair on a few occasions (and is the regular stylist for a few of my friends), and also does really fantastic work. While I've only been to the salon to have my hair done, they also offer manicures, massages, waxing, etc. The space is really clean and well-decorated; and based on my experiences with their stylists, I am positive the staff they have for their other services ares stellar.

The owner, Elizabeth Krause, seems to be dealing with some sort of paranoia. I booked a trial appointment for my wedding and she cancelled my appointment without cause. She told me she believed my instagram account had been hacked??? I have a lot of followers and I live in a different state, but my wedding is in Lake Geneva. I have no idea why she thought my account was hacked!! That's where we had been communicating and I got the sense that she was just trying to make up a reason. It was so bizarre. It's already slim pickings to find a good make up artist, but you should definitely avoid this place! She was mad that I took a few days to respond to her. I'm a busy career woman and was planning on getting back to her. It's may 16 and my appointment is June 4. She didn't keep her word and I don't think you should give her your business.

My mother was very specific on what she wanted: no product, a wash and a blow out. She came back with her hair matted, frizzy, and almost in tears. The stylist put MULTIPLE products in her hair after SPECIFICALLY ASKING NOT TO, and TEASED IT. There was no attempt to rectify her hair before she walked out practically in tears when the stylist had an ENTIRE EXTRA HOUR BLOCKED OFF. My mother had to wash her hair TWICE and she STILL has product gunked up in her hair as I am typing this. The manager/owner only tried to rectify the situation AFTER it was too late! I had a horrible wax…read moreand did not leave a tip because I was so disappointed, the next time I got the same wax I watched the woman waxing me tell them woman at the counter to charge me higher because "I do not tip" I got a Brazilian and checked out the work when I got home and there were whole patches of skin inches and inches of skin covered with hair and dried wax. (It was seriously insane I would share pictures but that would obviously be highly inappropriate) I had to go back in for them to finish the job. Based on her professional judgment she provided a conditioner to improve the overall health and condition of my granddaughter's hair. It was immediately evident that it made a difference! Float therapy is great stress relief and you float in a tank full of salt at body-temperature. It's relaxing and a great way to de-stress. Their products are from the Davines line that is made in Italy. The products smell amazing and they have a variety of hair care and even body care items for sale.
