Worst service I have had in a long time! We ordered and then asked for 2 cups of water. There were 4 of us. The girl informed me that they were going through a cup shortage and would be charging $1.50 for a cup of tap water which seemed crazy. I decided to order a Dr. Pepper. A large Dr. Pepper was $3, I paid. Then the guy working in the kitchen told the girl working the register that the Dr. Pepper was out. She said no and started to get it together. It ended up not working so she told me it was acting up and asked if I wanted something different. I looked up bit really into the options, but was going to say raspberry tea when she informs me that the tea is out too. At this point I say that I don't want the pop flavors. I tell the girl the only thing I would want is lemonade and asked if that was okay. She says sure and makes it and then says it will be $3 more. By this point I'm just annoyed. I had been waiting over 5 minutes for a fountain drink. She ends asking the guy in the kitchen and he tells her to just give it to me. Then we waited and waited and waited for our food. Their food is great but the wait time is awful. I ordered for pick up and showed up right at the time provided and was notified via my phone that my order was ready. I went to the window and was then told that it wasn't ready and was just waiting on pasta but would be right out. I then had to wait until every person that had ordered in person was given their food before me. I ended up waiting over 20 minutes past when I was told my order was ready for pickup, while my SO was forced to circle around waiting to pick me up. The customer service in this case just could have been more honest, let me know how long they actually intended to make me wait, or prioritized the pick up order they notified was ready rather than essentially making me show up just to wait in line anyway. I do really love their food, but I am disappointed to say the least and not likely to order here for pick up again. read more

I had the Pomodoro Marinara also known as Vegan Marinara. It was tasty and generous with the cheese and tomato sauce. This made for a great comfort food and tasty on a cold and snowy day in Ohio. The recipe has some pepper in it which I enjoyed and a complement to the mildly sweet sauce. Staff was fun and nice to talk to and they worked hard to get my dish fulfilled quickly. I recommend the food here. I also appreciate that the employee explained to me the 3% credit card usage fee or no fee for cash. I had forgotten that Crocker Park is a den of money laundering with a lot of stores doing this lower cash option, higher credit card option. Of all places, businesses should be charging same, cash or credit. At least the Cracker Park could put in a fountain for people to throw their coin. read more

I love love loved this place. I ordered the Turkey Truffle Bolognese bowl and almost every ingredient was different. The turkey meat had a different texture. The cheese used to be a sharp shredded but now it's a regular generic grated. There was absolutely no truffle flavor. Super disappointing! I came here in August 2017 and it was my first weekend in Cleveland since I moved from Columbus. I was so happy to check out Crocker Park and to find Pasta to eat. This is an outdoor restaurant so seating is outside. I'm not sure what they do in the winter months. When I arrived, I was super hungry that day so this meal was delicious but I do remember that it needed a bit more flavour. It was a bit pricey for a medium sized plate to eat but since Crocker Park is a fancy mall then the meal prize makes sense. Everything tasted really fresh and my roommate enjoyed her meal too. Is it Little Italy quality pasta? No. Is it a good option for being quick and under $10 and in the middle of the Crocker Park outdoor food court? Yes! Its basically build your own pasta with some prefab selections to choose from if you're lacking inspiration. You pick the sauce and the toppings (protein is extra). The creamy tomato was ok. The corn pesto was surprisingly good. The only thing you don't choose is the style of noodle, daily noodles are already prepared. You can take it to go (the to go containers were recyclable) or there's the outdoor bistro seats available as well. read more

Tried this place for the first time this evening while in the Crocker Park area. If you're in the mood for pasta and looking for something quick, this is your place. It's not fancy dining, but the food is good, and also comes with a relatively low price tag. Bistro seating by the large fire pit makes for a nice atmosphere. The sweet corn alfredo sauce had a unique flavor that I really enjoyed. That means a lot coming from someone with a fairly "boring" palate! I also enjoyed that our food was served in eco friendly containers, and that each order was made fresh to your liking. I've been going here for 5 years or so I drive 45 min to get there , drive trough rain , snow , negative degrees, doesn't matter this is the place I go for pasta , best pasta ever - I've tried pasta ( specifically chicken Alfredo from 100 different restaurants and not one tops this place . My bf always brings me here bc he knows I love their pasta n one day about 6 months ago he finally gave in n tried it ( chicken bbq I think ) but ever since then he'll crave the pasta from here n randomly tells me " let's go to Crocker park n get pasta from " co op " lol I wish this business 100 yrs in service . Every time I get the pasta is always top notch each time ! & not only that ( I've told The owner I think he was ) this is the only pasta that you can warm up later in the microwave and it's just as good as when it was served the first time ! Pasta is cooked well, but quality has gone down a bit. Used to order the turkey bolognese all the time, it would come with halved cherry tomatoes and shredded parm. Now comes with whole tomatoes (just kind of weird to eat with pasta) and grated parm like from the green can. I would probably try something else but wouldn't order this again. read more

So right in the heart of Crocker park I found the Pasta Co-Op and was pleasantly surprised at what I got. I got the Sweet Corn BBQ bowl, and what I thought would be a quick chipotle like make was anything but. They made the pasta FROM SCRATCH right in front of me, I had NO issues waiting for it because FRESH FREAKING PASTA?! Man. So after 10 min it was ready and it was everything I needed it to be. It's a sweet corn pesto topped with bbq chicken and other fixings. For $11? Heck yeah. The staff were fast and to the point, no gimmicks, super nice. First time at Crocker park with my daughter. Nice sunny day to walk around and shop. Stopped to catch a little shade by pasta co-op. Met the owner while sitting at shaded table. Offered us water :) Apparently sitting worked up my daughters appetite. She ordered the pomodoro marinara with chicken. Sturdy bowl and lid. Big order of pasta. Won't lie, tried a few bites. Delicious . Waited 5 minutes or so. Served fresh and hot. Would stop again when I come back to Crocker park. read more

The Pasta Co-Op is a pasta shop located in the outside food court of Crocker Park. As usual, I was in a rush and didn't have a ton of time, but hey, who can go wrong with pasta? While ordering, I asked the gal working if the Pasta Co-Op was a local business or a franchise. She wasn't sure. Upon further research online, the Pasta Co-Op is locally owned and operated. I ordered the Turkey Truffle Bolognese to-go. My pasta was ready in about 10 minutes. When I opened it, it had a different presentation from the menu picture. Not good or bad, just different and very compartmentalized. Next time, I'll probably order an alternative menu option. The dish felt like something I could have made at home. Still, it was satisfying enough and a large portion but just didn't have a ton of flavor. I think the Pasta Co-Op is a place you should really eat at in-person, maybe that would change the experience. Yet, I love the idea of what they're doing (so unique) and I still want to give it another shot! read more

I came in today with my family wanting to try the pasta they offer, but sadly, the service was terrible. I had asked for a Vermont pasta bowl and a BBQ chicken pasta bowl. Both were decent and very good. Besides these, we also ordered breadsticks. I asked the server what they came with, and she stated that they came with marinara. I mentioned that I didn't like it and would prefer a side of Alfredo instead. When we got the food, there was one BBQ chicken bowl, one Vermont bowl, and a whole Alfredo bowl. We went back to let her know, and she said, "Well, I read you the order and everything." It's common sense that we would've known if she had read us the order. Coming from a family that owns very successful restaurants, we understand that mistakes happen and that we are also accountable, not just the customer. We try to resolve the problem, but for a stand or even a restaurant to say it was the customer's fault to their face is super unprofessional. To not even solve the problem and ignore us is beyond that as well. read more

Saturday 10/12 (8:30 PM) I ordered a Vermont Mac & cheese, a bbq Mac & cheese, breadsticks and a lemonade. We also asked for a side of Alfredo sauce to dip. I received my food, and notice there's 3 bowls of pasta, instead of the 2 we ordered, as well as no side of Alfredo sauce. I go up to the lady working and tell her the problem, she then goes and gets the other guy, and he tells me that she "read me back my order" (which she did NOT, otherwise I would've told her it was only 2 bowls of pasta, not 3) and basically tells me it's my fault, and I can't get a refund for the one bowl of Alfredo pasta. Then my friend went up to get our missing side Alfredo sauce which they would not give us. Very disappointed in the customer service (especially as someone who also works in the fast food industry.) and was very upset by basically being told it was my fault that I was over charged because the workers can't take orders right. read more

Bolognese is my favorite sauce and it's so hard to find some made without pork! I usually make it at home, but the process takes all day. I recently stumbled upon this place and found a turkey bolognese! I was so excited!! I absolutely loved their Turkey Truffle Bolognese. Their fresh pasta is topped with the delicious bolognese, cherry tomatoes, truffle oil, red onions, and Parmesan. Fresh ingredients and handmade pasta... what more could you ask for?! Pasta Co-op is a go-to place for legit pasta. Although inconveniently placed on the little food court area inside crocker park, it is worth the hassle to park and walk to the place. You'd be lucky if you find parking off street right next to it. The pasta variety keeps changing every once in a while, but the taste remains same. They could do a little better with the portion size for the amount paid. Overall, a very good place and one of my favorites for pasta. read more

This unassuming outdoor stand has become one of my favorite spots in Crocker Park and an extremely welcome relief from its neighboring stands (Auntie Annie's, the horribly overpriced Nathan's, and Subway). The menu is limited to a handful of options, but my personal favorite is the Sweet Corn Pesto with BBQ Chicken. The sweet BBQ sauce really drives the flavor of the pasta bowl, and the glazed carrots offer nice highlights. The corn pesto seems to add more texture than flavor (though possibly it's simply overpowered by the BBQ sauce). My second favorite is the Vermont Mac & Cheese--a simple preparation featuring a decadently rich cheese sauce. Of course, the fresh pasta is a highlight. It is also, though, a bit of a limitation as the only noodle available is a somewhat thick, tubular corkscrew (I think cavatappi). In a perfect world, some fresh fettuccine or tagliatelle would pair well with the Spicy Shrimp Alfredo or the Truffle Bolognese. Regardless, Pasta Co-Op fills a nice niche of good food that can be served relatively quickly for the Crocker Park crowd. read more

Would love to give them more stars, because the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was very friendly (well the tall blonde guy was, however the other guy working, and the girl did not speak). Anyway, I ordered my food at 7:29, printed on my receipt, and was told that it would be less than 10 minutes, fast forward to 7:44 when I finally received my meal.....I understand the pasta is cooked fresh, but I really feel they should make the pasta for each individual customer, instead of waiting for several orders before cooking the meals - would cut down on the first person's wait time. read more

Pasta! If I was a religious man I'd be Pastafarian. Yum, I love pasta. I also love pasta that is NOT al dente, all the time. I've ordered this overpriced bowl of undercooked noodles two too many times. There won't be a third even when they reopen this spring. I can get better and less expensive pasta at Brio to-go. I'm happy to see a local business in Crocker Park considering they kicked out the other local business that did such great corned beef sandwiches forcing them to transform into a Nathan's Hot Dog stand.
