    Pasta to go
    Britnie M.

I was so thankful to find food to go. We got pasta. You can watch it being made which was cool. It tasted great and allowed us to rest.

This is our first stop! Overall the pasta is delicious. The texture was what i imagined but i have to say it was way too salty. Not sure it's a thing in Italy with their pasta... or what. It was just too salty for me to enjoy it. I like how fast and easy this place is but it just was salty

Fresh pasta, plenty of sauce options, quick and inexpensive! Plenty of seating. This was a great place to grab a bowl of pasta when eating by myself, and would be good for a quick cheap bite for couples or small groups. Only complaint, as an American, is that I would like some parm for my pasta.

Hands down the best carbonara and some of the best pasta we had throughout our trip, far better than we got at some restaurants. We visited the location near the Vatican before visiting this one, and liked it enough to eat here again. This location is far superior - same quality pasta, but with far more seating and no lines at around ~11am on a weekend. Location is excellent, right next to Flaminio metro station and across from the Porta del Popolo / Piazza del Popolo. The shop is easy to find and very bright/clean. Seating is spacious, comfortable, and sufficient - a mix of bar seating, high tables, and easily seats ~30-50 people whereas the Vatican location had ~5 seats. We ordered the carbonara and found the quality consistent - creamy, fragrant, and full of flavour. The pork is not too overpowering, portion size is amazing, and the price cannot be beat. At €7, the carbonara we had at Pastaciutta was only comparable to the €14 carbonara I had at the airport on our way home. Similar to a casual/fast food spot, order/payment is completed first and there was a quick 10 min wait to pick up our food from the counter. A plus for those on the go and a personal plus as there's the lack of hassle of being waited on. Sometimes you just want to eat in peace. I noticed there were some daily specials written down on a board inside the restaurant, but we didn't have a chance to try these as our heart was set on the carbonara. An easy 5/5 restaurant and the 1st one I would recommend to anyone travelling to Rome.

Delicious pasta and so affordable (~7.50€ each). Service was fast despite it being a little crowded and the cashier was very nice. Highly recommend the Spaghetti alla Carbonara, but didn't love Cacio el Pepe as much. Overall great food though, flavor was awesome and pasta texture was perfect. Very lively atmosphere at night, Would definitely come again!

Very affordable for what you get! Fresh pasta with simple ingredients made the Italian way. Two pasta dishes, a beer and wine was only €20! Order at the cash register and wait for your number to be called. The restaurant is clean and kinda cute. The tables are pretty small, so not great for big groups. Our food came out really quickly. Ask the cooks to top your pasta with Parmesan cheese if you like! I personally don't really like carbonara pasta, but my partner really enjoyed it! I ordered the Ragu and it was good. We stayed at the accommodation above this restaurant and it was always busy- and not just with tourists, locals too!

Great tasting pasta however very salty! This is most likely because of the bacon. It also has a bathroom.

After a long flight and finally settling into our hotel we wanted something quick to eat and we stumbled upon this place. It's fast food Italian but boy is it fresh and delicious. No frills type of place and you are in and out. Loved the quick service and the view of the kitchen. These guys love what they do and it shows in each dish. Definitely a must try when in Rome.

We stopped by here during our first night in Rome for fresh pasta and a quick bite to eat. It is a small space and it was not crowded. We got our orders quickly. The pastas are fresh and flavorful. The cacio e Pepe is a little on the salty side but definitely flavorful and tasty. Prices are good and it's a good spot for a quick dinner in Rome.

Great find. Counter service pasta - excellent quality, taste and large portions. All cooked to order. Prices were great, €7-8 per dish. €1.50 Coke, beer was a little more.

One of tour guides recommended this restaurant as a place that prepare good made to order pasta dishes at a affordable price. The menu was pretty small. Pasta portions were good and delicious. When we were there at 6 p.m. on a weekend, it wasn't very crowded. The restaurant wasn't very big, but we had no problems finding seats.

    Couldn't wait to dive in!

He is going to be busy trying to perfect this. Tagliatelle with orange and lemon parmesan. This was it. It was the best. Everything else we ordered was amazing as well. Wait outside. They don't have a sign telling you to wait, no server telling you to wait. You wait out there, wondering if you're in the right place, but then people stand behind you and you're like - oh! I'm here. In fact, they made a mistake and we kindly let them know we ordered something else- they corrected it and were nice about it.

You can pair your dishes with an aperol spritz or mini bottle of wine for less than five euros. The pasta was about nine to eleven euros and the portions were more than plenty. The chef and owner are super nice and very informative about their dishes. If you are a fan of spice you have to try their chef-recommended dish. They had one dish topped with pancetta and I just about wanted to lick my bowl clean. Everyone in the group was raving how delicious it was. Egg will forever be on my must-have when visiting Rome.
