Pesto (top), Truffle Ravioli (left), and Pork Cheek (right)

What a gem! My mom, boyfriend, and I were just wandering around the area, and we happened to find this quick and easy pasta shop which easily became one of our favorite eats during our trip in Rome! And the best part? It's cheap too! I got their Tonnarelli Alla Gricia Tartufo (Tonnarelli pork cheek, pecorino cheese & truffle). Wow, the portions were HUGE for only €9,5! It had an amazing truffle flavor and cooked perfectly. There was a good amount of cured pork cheek too. This shop did not skimp out! There was so much cure pork cheek that my boyfriend and I had a difficult time finishing my bowl as it started getting quick salty near the end. We had his dish on the side to help with the saltiness. Their cured meats can get quite salty on the pasta dishes! But they're still sooooo good. My boyfriend got their Casarecce Acqua e Farina Al Pesto (water & flour pasta with pesto). This was soooo good. That pesto flavor, MMMM. The freshness and flavor of it would be difficult to find in the US. It also really helped balance the saltiness of my dish too. My mom got their Ravioli di Ricotta e Spinach con Funghi e Tartufo (ravioli stuffed ricotta cheese & spinach, truffle mushrooms & Parmesan cheese). SO GOOD. Each bite had a beautiful amount of truffle and mushroom flavor. We could taste the freshness in each bite, and the ravioli didn't fall apart easily with the ricotta as it normally would indicating the quality of the cheese and the perfect cooked temperature. This shop was definitely a nice surprise find. Fresh ingredients for a cheap price! Cannot beat that at all. All of us really enjoyed our meal without having to worry about ordering enough food at a restaurant (haha).

    Carbonara and Salad

We tried the pasta on our first night in Rome. We were tired after a long flight and didn't want to go far. This is a fast food pasta place. The salad was fresh. I tried the carbonara and my sister got the carbonara with truffles. The pasta was flavorful but undercooked. It was hard and chewy. The service was fast. They have ample seating upstairs. It was a cafeteria style establishment. 3 Stars

Inexpensive. Fast Variety of pasta and sauces. In a pinch, pastaeat gets the job done by providing you with a meal of tasty pasta made to order. Only €9 for my spinach and ricotta ravioli in marinara sauce. I got my to go bowl in less than 10 minutes. It would have come out faster but the chef seemed to be unsatisfied with how a previous cacio & pepe fettuccine turned out. He tossed it and started fresh. Even short order cooks have standards!

It's cheap and it's fast. The pasta is made in house. It's clean and they have many options including a bunch of salads. I tried the cacio e Pepe and too salty for me but the noodle itself was excellent. I would go back and try other things, as they looked quite good. If I needed some pasta or a quick salad I'd head over. Nice service.

I was walking by and saw Pasta Eat and gave them a try by how their place looked. Ended up giving them a try and ordered Tonnarelli cacao e pepe and gricia and it was so delecious!!! I have not ever tried pasta like that anywhere! Great place packed with locals!

Tonnarelli pork Cheek, pecorino cheese and black pepper.

The service was great. It was a good price and yummy. I got the Tonnarelli all Gricia. (Pork cheek, pecorino cheese and black pepper). They also have vegetarian options Ravioli Pomodoro, which was yummy.

Say what!! Fresh pasta in the glass! You see it! You pick! You eat! Cinque minuti! Aka 5 minutes! What's not to like! Rome isn't a cheap place by all mean. But Rome is home! I love them all! And to find something like this in this popular area that's not a pizza! Crazy! So: fettuccine! Spaghetti! Gnocchi! Ravioli with a few fillings! Fettuccine without eggs! I got fettuccine with the truffle cream sauce. Need a little more cream or the sauce. It was just super dry. But I love fresh pasta so I'm ok with it! The ravioli with caccio e Pepe with shrimp and lemon was good! Need a little more cooking like a minute. But can't be beat for the price! Oh and go upstairs!! So much seating!!! Grazie!

Tasty, fresh and cheap to-go pasta ! I wish we had something like this in the US/Canada. Lots of options for pasta and sauce. I quite liked the gnocchi and carbonara. We came here on our last night of our trip to Rome when we had not made a reservation anywhere and were kind of exhausted. We took it back to our AirBnB and watched Rome. It was perfect.

I wanted some dope pasta hassle-Free and that's exactly what I got. They have fresh pasta behind the glass and you order at the counter and take it to-go or sit upstairs. It's pretty cheap for Rome - 6.50 for the basic pasta, or 9 for a large size (could be 2 portions). It's kinda fast-foody in how it's set up but the pasta is really good. Seems like a great low-fuss place

Took a little longer than anticipated, but the ravioli and pesto was fantastic, at in a very affordable €10.

Therefore, we ordered one of everything Hey, why not? Right?! It was definitely fresh pasta because you see them making the pasta from flour to all the different types of pasta shapes. And fresh pasta tends to stick together when cooled down. Here is the ranking of how I liked their pastas. They were all good but this is based on my flavor preference and how good everything was after bringing it back to the Airbnb. 6. Strozzapreti al pesto 5. Spaghetti Cacio e pepe 4. Fusilli al pomodoro 3. Strozzapreti al tartufo 2. Pappardelle al Ragu 1. Spaghetti alla Carbonara I think my ranking might have changed drastically if I ate everything on the spot. As you can tell by now, my recommendation is to eat it there as soon as you get your order. ¨ It was really good for being "take-out" style. Def worth stopping by for guaranteed yummy fresh pasta. So, if you have stomach space and are contemplating, yes, go! Worth the virality and hype. But I wouldn't suggest eating here every day. You're in Rome, explore! Try to find another yummy spot! ¨ Things to know: -Like most of Rome, they accept cards. -When you order, if are you getting it go, let them know so that they can pack it for you. -After you order, they give you a pager so you know when your order is ready. -If you order to go (I would suggest not if you can eat it there fresh) and if you have a bit of a walk, I would not suggest holding the bag by the handle cuz the steam of the food made our bags rip slowly. I'm glad we realized this because we would've been sad if all our pasta landed on the floor. And the covers do get warped by the steam, so everything shifts around. So, don't be like me - swinging the bag happily. Be more mindful. -Wait time can vary. Mine wasn't too bad cuz there weren't a lot of people. -The only problem with eating there is that there is no seating. So, I wouldn't have been able to get every single pasta dish to try. Pros and cons of eating it fresh and hot vs eating comfortably in AC.
