I have a public speaking gig in 6 hours and won't be able to eat a single thing before I'm on stage since I left UT. Next time I come I'm going to buy at least one of their resultants and extend the hours and then make a donation to the resort so they can hire night staff and provide room service.

It's gone from "everyone is drunk here woohoo!" to a nice cocktail bar. I love the concept of this bar. They have super traditional absinthe, absinthe cocktails, and absinthe wash cocktails, but also "normal" cocktails, beer and wine. The vibe is just really nice. It's chill, friendly, clean and comfortable. I love that they have a couch as well as a bar for sitting. There is a dart board and a few bar games you can play. Lisa and Sam, the two bartenders, are lovely. They're friendly and knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back!

It felt super swanky and loved all the wood - felt like we were somewhere back in the 30s. The cocktail connoisseur behind the bar, Danny, makes you a custom made drink based your preferences. They can of course make standard drinks but what fun is that? In their menu, they have a list of the most popular liquors (gin, vodka, whiskey, rum, etc.) and then flavors that typically pair with those liquors. For example, I wanted some sort of whiskey sour and asked to make it with peach or ginger flavors. So, my dear friends, check the drink prices and ask if gratuity is added BEFORE you order. And if $36 is steep for a drink; then just take pictures, use the restroom and then go to another bar. Wrong for a bourbon drink. She said they were out of blocks (8:00???) It was full of simple syrup- yuck! I discreetly took it over to the bar and asked what was in it, it was terribly sweet and not what we ordered. She said she puts simple syrup in them. I told her that is not what we ordered in the BUILD YOUR OWN. And asked her to remake it. She stormed to the table and said she would have to charge me for the new drink since that is how they make them. I asked her isn't it a build your own? And said forget it just throw the damn thing away. I'm done. I had nothing and we left. Be careful to explain it is build your own and you get to tell them how to make it.
