The food came out quickly, tasted good, and the service was fast for most of our visit. The only things that stood out were that we were seated upstairs while we had a stroller with our toddler. Our server headed upstairs without asking if we needed a hand carrying it, or an elevator, which felt a little odd. It wasn't a huge deal, but a quick offer to help would have gone a long way. The only other hiccup was at the end of the meal. Everything moved quickly until we were ready to pay. we waited about 15 minutes for our check, which felt a little longer than expected. Overall, those were pretty minor issues compared to the rest of the experience. Great vibes, good food, and we'd definitely come back the next time we're in Breckenridge.

Then she said just go and sit out there. 10-15 other parties were seated during this time. It took another 15 minutes for our server to come out. I've been here many times before and this was the worst service I've seen and can only conclude this isn't a dog friendly location

We've been coming to Breckenridge for a few years now and Base 9 is certainly one of the lesser known, better value 'apres' spots. Happy hour from 4 till 6 allows you to enjoy great local craft beers and you unusual cocktails at really good prices. The bar food is also really good, filling and well priced. Add to this the Beaver Run's signature staff, all of whom are fantastic, and you get a great place to start your post ski evening out. read more

Forget Copper Top and head to Base Nine for your Apres ski experience. There's a great selection of beer on tap and a full liquor bar. Darts and pool if you have the energy. Wait staff is great. Our server, Grayson was clearly super familiar with everything on the menu and at the resort, he was very friendly and made some great recommendations. We started with some beer, and then we were told about "Wingo" Thursdays, which is exactly what it sounds like, wing specials and bingo. We didn't anticipate staying for bingo, but after trying the wings and they were so incredible, we decided to have some desserts as well and play along since we were hanging around for a bit. We got the traditional and the garlic Parmesan wings, $15 for 12 wings is a really good price and they were absolutely incredible. We also tried the tres leches bread pudding, this was quite possibly the best bread pudding I've ever had, Grayson told us they do a different one every year, I'm very happy. We came this week and not last week as it would not have been the same then! The skillet cookie was also delicious, we tried the peanut butter, which was a unique combination as usually these are served with chocolate chip cookies. Everything was five star perfection, which is super unexpected for bar food, and even more so at a ski resort. I will be prioritizing coming on Thursdays again !
