This is a cute little dog park located at 1886 Butterfield Dr Corona, CA 92880. The entire park is huge! Butterfield Park includes baseball fields, softball fields, and open grass areas for soccer. On the far corner of the park is the dog park. It is a pretty decent size for the doggos. There is a smaller area that is sectioned off for the smaller pups. Honestly when I brought my little Pomeranian here, she loved it. Lots of things to sniff and places to dig holes lol She had fun rolling around in the grass. I don't remember having an issues with dog poop on the ground or anything like that. And no complaints from my dog lol She seemed happy and had fun. I like that they have the separate area for the smaller dogs. That is needed. Overall this is a great park for the fur-baby's to have fun safely. And I definitely appreciate all the trees and shade around so you don't get burned while watching your furry friend run around and play! There are water fountains around the park too. read more

Some reviews need to be updated as they contain false information. First time visit today. Found this spot by dumb luck just looking for a "regular park" to have lunch with my pup on my lunch break. My little dude is only 5lbs and the small dog side is adequate size for him to run and chase his ball. We met some other folks that had a little pug and they got to play for a few minutes which was great. There is in fact water available. Poop bags are also available. There are nice benches to sit. The grass was in "good" condition, considering it's the middle of summer in Corona! We had a great time and will be back for sure. Checked out the big dog side, and it had some "bare spots" and could use some work. I'd only ever go over there if it was empty and even on a Wednesday at 1:00 there were people there. Anyhow, it certainly isn't perfect, but it's a great, SAFE place for your pooch to run free and get some exercise. Also want to say, people calling a dog park unsafe or giving a low review because of an attack is absurd. The rules to dog ownership are the same no matter where you are; be aware of you, your dog and your surroundings. Turns out, THERE ARE DOGS AT DOG PARKS. This park has a very big side for large dogs to run around and play. The downside is that you will probably end up with a muddy dog because there is a lot more mud than grass here. Beautiful dog park! Lots of trees and shade... which is a HUGE plus. I like that the park is pretty long in shape... it's good for those dogs that like the stretch their legs and run it out. It's well kept and taken care of. It has a cool water fountain that has a lower spout for dogs. I only wish that it was located INSIDE the gate. If you want to take your dog to the drinking fountain, you have to leash your dog, go out, get water, then come back in. Not a big deal... just less convenient than it could be. I recently brought my dog to the Corona Dog Park after buying some Mutt Muffs at near by Aircraft Spruce. This park is right next to the airport on the other side of the road/levy. It recently rained and I was expecting the area to be possibly closed. There is a sectioned off area for both small and large dogs. Tons of shade in the large dog area, however where ever there was shade, that's where you'll find the mud. My German Shepherd pup loves mud for some reason. I arrived around 2:00 pm and it was pretty quiet. Closer to about 3:30 that's when people started flooding the area. Great people and very well socialized dogs, a very pleasant experience. There are two separate areas (one for big dogs and one for small dogs). I have two small dogs, however, the small dog park is tiny. We ended up only using the big dog side so our dogs had room to run. It was nice and clean. The pros is that it was mostly grass and was large enough for all size dogs, but a major con is that there were some big holes that I was afraid my dog would step in and hurt herself as she loves to run and can be less than graceful at times. read more

I really like bringing my dog to this park, despite obvious issues. There is a community water bowl, the only pet friendly drinking fountain is outside the fence. Often there are no bags to pick up poop, but the regulars seem to always have their own bags. The good things are, 4 stone benches to sit on while your fur-baby plays, large shady trees, ample room (in the large dog side), and the grass is green with very few dirt patches. It's a small dog park but nice lil' spot. Grass is always green. People who go here are usually very friendly and social. I wish they had a few more benches for seating but it really isn't that big of a space and the doggies need room to play. Only draw back is it's located right next to the ball fields. Due to this, during season it can be a bit chaotic and hard to get a parking spot. On the flip side, it is fun to watch the kids play while your pup gets some fun time too. read more

Good dog park. Lots of shade from trees in the park which helps since its in Corona and it can get hot. Like most dog parks humans do not do pick up enough of their dog's poo so there are many laying around that you have to be careful of. The biggest menace are the many holes in the ground near the seating areas. I've seen too many trip and fall or nearly fall. Don't want to see someone getting hurt is all. read more

This is the dirtiest, poop covered dog park. No one maintains this place and the dog owners do not pick up after their dogs or themselves . There are holes everywhere, which is dangerous when dogs are running around. You have to watch every step you take to try to avoid poop. It's just a dirty, disgusting park. I gave it a chance again since it's close to home and I regretted it. Nothing has changed in a year's time. Guess I'll be driving to another city for my dogs to have play time. They need to open up more parks in Corona for people who are good pet owners. read more

We are new to the area in search for a new dog park for our little ones. The Small Dog Park is tiny. Not enough to run around with them. We ended up having them run around the park instead. There was no doggie water fountain, doggie bags, nor obstacles. Pretty disappointing dog park. I will take them back but to run around the general park not the small dog park. I take my little dog to this park and he really likes it! We go during the week and it's pretty empty. I like how there is a section for smaller dogs and a section for larger ones. I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about. This isn't the Hilton for your dog, it's a freakin dog park. Nice little dog park in the neighborhood. I met up with a friend of mine who has dog here for one evening. It has lots of trees [which is a plus] because summer days in Corona can be pretty brutal. It is fairly easy to find and it has ample amount of parking available. I like the fact that it has grass and also the pavement...I did a lap around in the pavement area. It has a water fountain that has a lower spout for the dog - pretty convenient if you ask me. Park is well kept. read more

small dog area is a bit small but very clean and nice soft full green grass. My Cocker Spaniel loved it. The big dog area is twice the size and both areas have good shade trees. Like this dog park.. My only complaint is owners do not clean up after there dogs and they don't try to leash them when they get rowdy. I've had more problems with the owners of the dogs and there's attitudes here. Most are nice and curtious and will leave toys and clean up after there dogs. But some are rude and when there dogs try to fight another dog they turn there heads! I don't go here anymore because I don't feel it is safe for my dog read more

Went last week. No water available for the dogs. Lots of poop all over the park so beware.....despite bags provided. No obstacles for the dogs but there are tables you can use. It is a big park which is nice for the dogs to run around or play fetch. Lots of trees for shade. Nice park but there are better options. read more

Nice little dog park. Been to better, but its nice. Always have bags to clean up after with....you have to handle your own dog water issues but there's a drinking fountain out front...I believe they have lights after dark. Quiet area. read more

Lot's of trees (thus shade) during those hot corona days, lots of room for the dogs to play, usually clean, and mostly good dogs visit the park. Only draw back is the large areas of dirt that some dogs love to play in (leaving them needing a bath afterwards). read more

Met up with friends here after visiting a dog park by us that left us very disappointed. We LOVED it here. It was super shaded on a hot day and had more room than my big puppy knew what to do with. Paige and i are there every morning no matter what the weather is... Living in a apt. its bout the only place she can have "free" doggie time.......... The mornings are the best. n on the weekend mornings there a group of regulars w/ really nice dogs that have become, her friends n mine..........I could go into more detail but over all its a decent place for the dogs butttttttttt there are certain areas w/ deep holes in the ground u cant see if ur not steady on ur feet. I go during the week on a Monday and it is never busy! I enjoy the fact that they have toys that the dogs can play with. It can get a little muddy for prepare for that! One thing I haven't figured out is why the water is placed outside of the dog park it is inconvenient to have to walk out to fill the bucket. read more

Great park go there early during the week very few people there easy to find parking. Weekends have more people softball games ect. My dog loves it there so we go like 5 times a week. Most dogs and people are very friendly. Lots of places so your dog can run. read more
