Then, when we arrived to pick up our keys, Joan gave us a warm and friendly welcome. We had a bit of trouble with the ceiling fan in our unit, and when we called Joan, she arrived within minutes to take care of it. At week's end, when we reluctantly turned over our keys, Joan invited us to leave our bags in the office for the day until we caught the afternoon ferry, which enabled us to enjoy the day unencumbered. I had a very bad experience with this agency - I listed my condo for sale with them and they did absolutely nothing... well, except complain about the state of the real estate market - nothing but doom and gloom from these folks. The icing on the cake, our agent went on vacation for 2 weeks during the height of the spring season and never even bothered to call us to let us know a) that he would be gone and b) who would be covering our property. 5% commission for this kind of service, I think not! read more
