Whereas my family and I kept getting the runaround after my son was negligently harmed and we couldn't get any answers as to what exactly happened, once we called Dr. Fagel he explained to us exactly what went wrong and gave us the answers we were seeking. He advised us how we can make sure my son is taken care of for the rest of his life and followed through with his promise to zealously advocate on my son's behalf. His grasp of medical/scientific knowledge is truly incredible. He reviewed the thousands of pages of medical records pertaining to my son's care and boiled it down to the key critical mistakes that happened. At the settlement conference, Dr. Fagel laid out every option, explaining the pros and cons to help guide our decisions. Ultimately, he made it very clear that it was totally our choice whether to accept a settlement or go to trial and his job was to make sure we understood the process, what was involved, and how much we would need for my son's care. We ultimately decided to settle because the hospital basically folded once Dr. Fagel started talking. We are very happy with the settlement and can now rest assured knowing our son has everything he could ever need and we can finally move on from this tragic affair. While Dr. Fagel couldn't heal my son himself, he could and did get us the funds to make sure my son and our family is well taken care of, just like he said at the start of our case.

It's important for the integrity of the program and the safety and well-being of clients to address these matters. During my time at the shelter, the Director was rarely present. When she did come in, her behavior was deeply unprofessional and concerning. On multiple occasions, she: * Spoke negatively about other staff members and shared personal problems inappropriately with residents. * Appeared to be under the influence. * She had a male visitor in her office for extended periods, and the door was closed. * Spoke to residents in an unprofessional and inappropriate manner, using street slang and disrespectful language that made many of us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. This kind of behavior is not reflective of the trauma-informed, respectful, and supportive environment that domestic violence survivors need. First of all, the massage itself from Jesse was solid and professional. Based on his technique, I can tell that he was professionally trained in massage school (his certification is displayed in the room). Also, he even asked me what areas I'd like him to focus on which was a plus. Calling for an appointment was easy with him; he immediately accommodated me same-day on his schedule and was happy to answer any questions I had. When I met him for the first time, he politely greeted me and led me into the massage room. ... And that's when things got bad; the old, musty smell from the room hit me like a freight train. NEVER have I seen nor smelled such poor maintenance in a massage room. Ever. The carpet appeared to have not been vacuumed nor cleaned in ages (specks of debris scattered throughout). It may not seem that bad in the photos, but in-person you notice everything. It smelled like an old, unventilated storage closet with dirt and sweat. This was a major turn off for me in terms of my comfort and relaxation. It would have done wonders to even just open a window to let fresh air in. There was, however, an air-conditioner running which was old and humming loudly, adding further to my disgust. Overall, a solid massage and top-notch customer service from a friendly therapist. If only that level of professionalism was reflected in the cleanliness of the environment.
