Which I understand is difficult for the staff to control. The techs and the doctor seemed to place most of the blame on me. Telling me I should've given my cat gabapentin before I brought him in. I've never had a bad vet experience with my cat before this, so I didn't think I would need to have gabapentin. They had none of the tools that would help with a scared and sick cat, like a EZ-Nabber or even cat proof gloves. They expected me to subdue my scared and sick cat myself as they watched from the corner. If they had the proper tools to help us, this wouldn't have been such a traumatic vet visit. The staff knew he was scared and still insisted on giving him a 150 dollar long lasting antibiotic shot, even when I told them he was calm at home and I could give him pills. It was after a 10 minute long session of basically torturing my cat to stay still so they could give him two shots, they admitted the antibiotic shot wouldn't be possible to administer. They then said they would refund the 150 dollars for the shot, and send us home with 20 dollars worth of antibiotic pills. I found this confusing, why would you insist on traumatizing my cat when there was an easier and cheaper option.... I understand that scared cats are hard to manage, but this is a vet? They should've acted in a more professional manner and had the tools to take care of a scared cat. My cat definitely wasn't the first scared cat to go through their doors. They were able to help my kitty, but it was not a good experience. Do better.

Further the doctor finally came out and she didn't know who I was or my dog but she said she saw him last year - but I met the vet from st. Kitts never met Dr. brown which is terrifying. This clinic is severely overpriced and they're not willing to work with their clients to provide affordable care. Dr. Brown leaves much to be desired as does the office manager. I will never take my animals here again. It's cheaper to get ears cleaned as a human. Veterinarians are getting criminal with what they bill and keep In mind nothing they bill is regulated. They saw bixby and then cancelled our appointment and sent us to collections bc I didn't like their treatment plan. So third trip to the office to pay them $62.50 for an appointment I attended. In human healthcare I can't cancel a patients appointment just bc they don't want to do what's recommended. Their cancellation policy is just scam to ensure they're still making a paycheck without having to do anything. Three hours later, half a day of work missed, down $62.50 and bixby still has an ear infection. So fed up with peoples lack or common decency. Are they helping the community or just robbing bandera citizens? They need to be reported.

She explained possibilities and assured us Leah would start feeling better soon . A bonus to Avery was Dr Dielmann . He was amazing to say the least! We were nervous and scared about what he was going to convey. He gave us hope that the chances of a less severe diagnosis was probable. He was so understanding and sensative to our feelings.
