First off, who makes a bleeding four year old wait this long?? Also it's already 11:20pm and he's about to fall asleep, how are you going to give him stitches this way??? This would never happen in Asia. We seriously have the worse health care system ever.

They lost my mom's dentures and not too interested in locating them. The people are rude to answer questions. We don't go to hospital to enjoy ourselves unfortunately most of the time you or someone you know is not in good shape. You need to learn that setting needs a lot of comforting, caring, patient and helpful. The hospital it self is not very clean. The air vents are dirty needs to be cleaned. The floors need to be mopped. I will take some pictures for example. Please be more compassionate and understanding. Clean the place up and teach all employees to be more courteous and helpful even when someone calls and they sound loud. It's ok and understand their situation. Keep your patients clean after they go bathroom. Don't leave them for 20-30 minutes dirty. Don't know what else to say because I am angry and will start cursing. PLEASE WAKE UP AND LOOK AROUND AND FIX AND CLEAN .

From beginning to end, many members of the staff made me feel genuinely cared for during a very stressful time. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Molina and his PA Caitlyn Reid for helping guide me through surgery and recovery. My anesthesiologist Sarah Torabi was wonderful, and admitting nurse Claudine immediately made me feel at ease. The pre-op team, especially Maricela and Claudine, were so kind, attentive, and reassuring before surgery. In recovery, Katie and Claudine stood out again for their compassion and professionalism. Chris Rosales, my surgical nurse, also provided excellent care and support throughout my stay. The physical therapy team was fantastic as well. I unfortunately didn't get everyone's names, but they were encouraging, patient, and truly helped motivate me during recovery. Overall I felt supported by many hardworking people who clearly care about their patients. Recovering from major surgery is overwhelming, and the kindness shown by so many staff members made a real difference for me. Thank you again to everyone who helped me during my stay. Your efforts and kindness will never be forgotten. -Stephanie

I am writing to express my concern about my recent experience at the Kaiser Emergency Department…read more The wait times are extremely long, often lasting 4-5 hours before being seen by a provider. What is particularly frustrating is that there are times when the waiting area appears nearly empty or has very few patients, yet patients are still left waiting for several hours without any clear explanation or updates. In addition, I was disappointed with the level of customer service I received. Staff members were not communicative about delays, and it was difficult to get information about the status of my visit. As a patient seeking emergency care, this lack of communication and support added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. I understand that emergency departments can be busy and that patient care is prioritized based on medical urgency. However, better communication, transparency about wait times, and improved customer service would greatly improve the patient experience. I would appreciate it if this feedback could be reviewed and addressed to help improve care for patients in the future. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Jennifer is super kind, friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. When I had my newborn, I'd come to her weekly support group to get tips of latching, feeding, and all other baby related questions. You're able to do weighed feeds (weighing baby before and after breastfeeding) to see how much they took in. Jennifer also can help assess latch, and many moms book lactation consultant appointments with her to get 1:1 help. It was also really nice meeting new moms who had babies similar in age to mine. I was able to find my mom group through here, and now we meet up to do walks and park hangs. It's really nice that this group is offered to the community and I've found it extremely valuable for my mental health to be connected through this group. Thank you, Jennifer and PAMF for the mom's place group!

Why is it that his medical record has not been updated for more than a decade? Even in third world countries, the health care providers are the ones updating the patient records - no one expects the patients to maintain health records. I mean, sure if the patients transfers from another institution, but my dad has been with them for more than 10 years. This is ridiculous. I always have to add that the individual doctors are mostly fine, but the way they organize things is shameful for the Bay Area.

From induction to delivery and postpartum care, the nurses and staff were incredibly attentive, supportive, and kind. Giving birth is not easy, but I felt genuinely cared for by the Labor & Delivery team and the lactation consultants at Sequoia Hospital. Every nurse and lactation consultant I met was amazing. I especially want to thank the nurses who supported me during delivery and postpartum recovery -- they not only provided excellent care, but also made my stay exceptionally memorable. I wish I could remember everyone's names! (Room 3348 from 4/23/26-4/25/26 and Room 3118 from 4/25/26-4/27/26.) The rooms and hallways were always very clean. The postpartum bed for new moms was surprisingly comfortable, and the guest beds in both the delivery and postpartum rooms were comfortable as well -- my husband had no complaints! They even provided pillows and linens for guests if needed. The hospital also provides three meals a day for moms, and the food tasted much better than I expected. My husband and I were especially grateful for the mini kitchen -- apple juice and soup broth were basically the only things I could tolerate after getting the epidural. Thank you again to everyone who took care of us during such an important moment in our lives. We will definitely return if we are blessed with a second child someday. Sissy & Chris

When you finally get there, you need to register with the security guard at front before you can go to the front desk. I thought it would be really busy because ER but I actually got seen within 15 minutes so I must have caught a lucky break. After they took my vitals I waited before being seen by a PA. The PA was a bit taciturn but nice enough and thought I had sciatica, which seemed reasonable enough to me. I wanted to rule out a leg clot so they called an on call radiologist (waited about an hour for the doctor to arrive). That doctor was also nice and was professional when conducting the ultrasound on my leg. The PA ended up prescribing some medication for me but unfortunately had sent it to the wrong pharmacy so I had to call back and sort that out since I needed the order cancelled before the actual pharmacy could fill it. That added a little extra delay to an already long night but it was able to be sorted out! Overall I had a pleasant experience all things considered. I would consider this ER again if I had another health scare.

Outstanding medical staff, but facilities and one unprofessional nurse left room for improvement…read more My wife Nikki and I recently had a 4-day stay at Stanford Tri-Valley to welcome our first child, our daughter Oraya Rose. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly accommodating, starting with Jeanette at the front desk who gave us a warm welcome and a smooth check-in. The Medical & Nursing Team We cannot say enough good things about our doctors. Dr. Veeragandham (our delivering doctor) and Dr. Chandler (who cared for my wife in the days prior) were the most comforting and phenomenal doctors we've ever experienced. You can truly tell they care deeply about their jobs and their patients. Dr. Sanders, who discharged us, was also fantastic; he kindly expedited our release knowing we were exhausted from the small post-labor room and just wanted to head home. Throughout our long stay, we were supported by an army of wonderful nurses who checked in frequently to ensure we had a pleasant stay. We want to thank Kelly, Michelle, Chayenne, Stacia, Suzanne, Elizabeth, Maddie, Tricia, Deanna, Liz, Rachelle, Noelle, and Ranjita. We also want to give a special shoutout to Aaliyah, who was immensely helpful with my wife's labor exercises early on. Our absolute standout was our delivering nurse, Shinika (who we understand is a traveling nurse). She is a tremendous asset to the Stanford team! Her guidance and support were instrumental--she coached my wife so well that she was able to push the baby out in under 35 minutes. Constructive Feedback & Areas for Improvement Unfortunately, we did have a highly negative interaction with another nurse, Jen, who was in the room during delivery. There was palpable tension and attitude from Jen directed at Shinika. Even worse, while my wife was actively pushing, Jen abruptly announced, "The baby's heart rate is dropping." This caught us completely off guard, caused unnecessary panic, and disrupted my wife's focus. Thankfully, Shinika and Dr. Veeragandham immediately reassured us that everything was fine, and even the other staff in the room looked at Jen in confusion regarding what she was doing. We brought this up to the Assistant Nurse Manager, Joseph, but I am reiterating it here so Jen can be properly trained. If there is an urgent matter, it needs to be communicated professionally with the doctor, not blurted out to terrify a mother actively pushing out a baby. Facilities & Amenities The rooms were okay, but felt outdated and small compared to LPCH. Additionally, we were promised a celebratory meal once the baby was born, but we never received it. We were really looking forward to that after such a long and grueling hospital stay. Another suggestion for the hospital would be to add a community kitchen or hydration station for families. We felt terrible repeatedly asking the busy nurses for water and snacks. We didn't want to treat the medical staff like room service knowing they have far more important duties, so it got to the point where I just left the hospital to buy supplies at a store. Overall, the incredible medical care and nursing support made our experience a positive one despite the hiccups. Thank you to Dr. Veeragandham, Shinika, and the rest of the amazing team for bringing our daughter safely into the world! In the future, however, we will likely aim for a delivery at LPCH for a more modern feel and comfortable space within the same network.
