We knew what the issue was, but not how much it would be to fix. Eventually I found an employee. I was told the Luther was not in yet, but I was assured he was the best and would give me a quote. When I finally received a text message, I was told "nothing wrong, it was just how the violin was made." A violin that they sold me 2 years prior, kept properly, that was separating from the back and starting to cave in. It was not how it was made. Picking it up a few days later on my next trip by the store was not any better of an experience. A 2 minute stop quickly turned into almost 30 because once again I couldn't find an employee. When I picked up the violin, I was not asked to show any ID to verify who I was. It was just handed over. If you are looking for a string instrument, this is not your place.

As I stated in the first review, Tatiana has been nothing but awesome to work with! I am leaving the initial review of the teacher, but want to let everyone know they are very customer service oriented. Also, be aware that they will charge monthly because it is NOT a monthly service, it is a yearly service that they charge for each month. It is slightly confusing that they advertise as monthly prepaid lessons with no contract. However, benefit of the doubt is I may have misunderstood this. I would recommend Garden Music as long as you speak to/sit in with your student for a lesson or two, to ensure the teacher/student are a good fit for each other. We just moved to Florida and we're looking to pick up drum lessons again after a year long hiatus. We signed up for lessons with Marcus. After the first 30 minute session he spoke to me about my son as if he was a delinquent who wasn't practicing drums and took it as a personal affront to himself. We came back even though my son said he didn't like him (should have known then). After the second 30 minute lesson Marcus came outside and proceeded to yell (and I do mean YELL) at my son and launched into a bitter diatribe about how my son is sour, is undisciplined, unmotivated, not college bound (odd???) and that he was going to drive away the people in his life (what??). I sat in disbelief listening to a 21 year old utterly tear down a 14 year old (with a learning disability) and could not believe he was still employed as I highly doubt this was the first time he has displayed such behavior. My son was in tears the whole way home (40 minute drive). I felt horrible for my son and have never witnessed a teacher behave this way. My son wants to play for enjoyment, not for a career. As a teacher myself I know the key to creating motivation is a mix of encouragement and critique. However, this approach and the personal offense Marcus took to my son (who is still learning) and his music ability was appalling and we will not be returning. I'm sure the owner (who is very kind) and the other teachers are great but I would not recommend this teacher! **UPDATE** I was charged for lessons for another month, which I did not authorize! Despite being told there is no contract and lessons are paid monthly...I was charged for lessons I did not request! Do not give this place your credit card information.

I think I was there till a little after 8 and at no point did I feel rushed. When I arrived she had a select few violins ready for me to try for my level. In our initial phone call I hadn't given too much information about my skill but her selections for me were 100% what I needed. From reviews at other shops I thought I was going to be pressured into buying something expensive that I didn't need. That was absolutely not the case here. The selections she showed me were all in my price range and she answered any questions I had to make sure I chose the perfect instrument. I'll definitely be coming back.

I started the process months ago by emailing back and forth with Sam and phone calls with Matt - to better understand the Plek machines and determine if it would be a good fit for my boyfriend's 50th birthday gift. I was met with the epitome of professionalism, knowledge, kindness and guidance. They understood I was hoping to make it a stellar birthday for my fella and went above and beyond in making that a reality. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with warmth by everyone - handshakes and smiles. After a two hour drive from home, that's a great way to begin! The shop / store / vault / "playrooms" (as I'm calling them) are well thought out, and welcoming to the public. My fella definitely wanted to have the full experience so we planned for at least 3-4 hours onsite - we spent over 6.5 hours and there was still more to experience. The shop was incredibly clean. Everyone was informational on all fronts - happy for us to be engaged in the full experience - including explanation of the processes occurring inside the Plek machines. We brought 6 guitars and 5 were evaluated; three of those run through the full blown "plek'ing" process. My guy was able to pull guitars off the wall and play at his leisure. They offer several types of u-pick fruits, veggies and sunflowers at different times of the year. They have a fun zone area and food trucks. The only thing I don't see on this farm are animals. I love that they allow the 5K races at least once a year. With those races, you usually get blueberry pancakes and a pint container to pick your own blueberries from at least 6 fields. There were 2 available to pick from when we were there. Plump and sweet blueberries are to be had if you know how to pick them. Don't let the bees scare you off. Leave them alone and you will be fine, unless someone in the next aisle pissed them off. They have peaches, sunflowers and strawberries to pick as well. I noticed the map also shows veggies but not sure when or which kind are available but nice to know. I love the observation deck above the gift shop. Amazing views of the farm and surrounding land with plenty of seating to take it all in while you enjoy a cup of coffee from the gift shop. I hope they can hang on to this land once the developments continue closing in on this rare property.
