I asked for the largest and most bright look and Dr.V did exactly what I was looking for. I heard your comment via voicemail noting Melissa mentioned my event and you said, "Your graduation or whatever". My graduation is not a whatever event. Fix the customer service and you won't have to try so hard to silence me. Avoid this doctor and location as they are unprofessional and the receptionist/customer service rep is extremely rude. I made an appointment to get my teeth whitening and was set for my scheduled and confirmed appointment the following day. This practice discriminates against individuals based on race and status. The day of my appointment, 1.5 hour before I was to come in the office at the Madison location, I received a phone call from Victoria's receptionist canceling my appointment. I was told the "Doctor", was behind schedule and I was considered a last minute thing as I if I should feel lucky I got an appointment! News flash, I am a real Doctor. I also have extensive experience in Dentistry with years of schooling, internship and practice in two prestigious hospitals in NYC. During the initial conversation, the second admin, Laura I believe her name is said if you worked in Dentistry you would know about PPO and various networks. Excuse me? I can actually teach you a course about the practice of Dentistry and to improve your less than superb customer service. Secondly, as a Doctor you have to test the knowledge of those you do business with and quite frankly you've failed the test. You didn't mention anything about taking impressions or offering of trays as whitening does not last with daily eating/drinking habits and will need a touch up every few months. As for the receptionist Melissa, you are rude, unprofessional and comical. Canceling the day of and 1.5 hour beforehand because the "Doctor" is backed up shows you have poor skills in calendar management. Saying things like, we have other patients shows a lack of concern as I would have been a valuable and new patient if you would've displayed a sense of professionalism. I've wasted my time and quite disgusted with the behavior of the staff.

In more recent times I experienced Dr. Low being distracted and constantly running out of the room while I was in the chair. On my last cleaning here I waited nearly 20 minutes for her to come in to check my teeth after the hygienist was done. I actually stepped out of the room and asked them to get Dr. Low to come and look because I couldn't wait any longer. Her look was extremely fast and with her naked eye. I pointed out where I thought there was an issue to her to which she said everything was "fine". That was 7 months before what came next and involved the very issue I had asked her about. I've now been suffering for 2 years due to work done by Dr. Low that should never have been needed in the first place. The test of your dentist is when you need actual work. She says she's conservative but there was a tooth she filled years ago that she was concerned about at the time, that it could be an issue again. (Which I've only recently learned that she should have sent me to an endodontist then and there.) And when I thought the tooth was an issue again a few years later, she dismissed it. An X-ray later - she still thought there was a start of something but nothing worth opening the tooth up for. Every dentist (about 5 of them now) who has seen that X-ray has asked why Dr. Low didn't do a root canal then and there. Instead, 6 weeks later I had a full blown mouth infection with puss in my gums. Dr. Low put a mini-implant in where the tooth had been without even telling me what she was planning to do. And it was done without precision, tools, or anything of the sort - it was shoved in my mouth all in one shot. It has been uncomfortable and a problem ever since. I've seen many specialists in trying to figure out how to correct the situation. Every single one of them has looked at me with horror saying they've never seen a mini-implant used to replace a single tooth and that it's like a toothpick with a bowling ball on the end. I would recommend to anyone be sure to get a full explanation of the work that they plan to do here BEFORE that work begins, don't just let them get started, and I would highly suggest getting a second opinion when this practice recommends a mini-implant if you do not have dentures. (The mini-implant was done before they started advertising full blown that they are mini-implant center.) I thought I was going to have a proper consult about what would be done and that all of the right options would be considered. That did not happen. I'm regretful that my original glowing review of this practice has likely led plenty of people here and that I sent people I personally know here. This is not the same place as it was when I wrote that first review.

Avoid this practice at all costs…read more Lets start with the practice itself. The office was clean enough, but could definitely use a renovation. Lots of chips and scuffs on everything, with an extremely dated early 90's aesthetic. The X-ray machine they used on me appeared to be held together by a half pound of hot glue and tape. The dentist I saw didn't even introduce herself to me, so I'm not even sure if I saw Dr. Ginsburg or the other Dr. that works in the practice, but whoever I saw seemed like they were high on painkillers and barely communicated anything with me. She also couldn't "find" where my filling had fallen out, which upon inspection in the mirror at home was ridiculously obvious. She poked at the hole where my filling used to be several times (which was painful) even after I asked her to stop. She then said"there was never a filling here". There was no communication at all or about the situation and how to resolve it, or small talk, or anything a normal person would maybe do when interacting with another human being. Basically they just gave me this x-ray silently, poked my tooth, said I was wrong and that I never had a filling there, and that she wouldn't recommend putting a filling there because she would have to drill, she then walked out. The whole interaction probably took about 3 minutes. All in all, this Dr. and her practice was EXTREMELY sketchy. Avoid like the plague.

Various dentists had tried to help me only for the problem to persist and get worse. I was referred to Dr Rash Patel by a close friend of mine. Dr Rash Patel listened to my problem and was able to help me. He offered multiple solutions to assist me in being able to fix the problem. He also assisted in whitening my teeth and straightening them. I knew it would be multiple visits to get my teeth straightened, but he was very professional and deterred me from any fears I had. My work means I travel around the country but I always make the time to stop in Lynbrook and get my dental work completed here. I have now referred many friends to this dentist who all speak very highly of his work and professionalism. His staff are very friendly and personable. This clinic also has the latest dental technology and is very clean and hygienic.
