My recent experiences with the paint department have been mediocre at best. They are extremely slow and obviously under staffed. I recently called-in my paint order and still had to wait 45 minutes at the counter to get service on a Friday , just to pick up my paint. To add insult to injury, I spoke up in frustration as a number of people came in after me and were served while I was still waiting. I was basically okay to wait until this happened. My suggestion is for you folks to is use a ticketing system similar to what grocery store deli's use. it's extremely simple...or, the paint department counter person could simply ask "who is next?" Leaving your customer to self-manage when they get service is always bad business. read more

Neither Nashua Wallpaper & Paint, their distributor or the manufacturer of the flooring product wish to take responsibility for the floors installed in our new construction home that were clearly not milled in any quality fashion. They also were not installed per manufacturer guidelines in regard to climate control. Yet, somehow what we have is 'normal' though it isn't. We specifically asked when selecting our flooring product what quality we could expect from the manufacturer and if it was worth it to spend more on a more boutique manufacturer but were assured by NWP that the manufacturer was fine and they had no quality issues. Of course, since we constantly felt like we were a burden to the associate helping us at the time maybe they just didn't feel like dealing with us and instead wanted to rush us out. Great Customer Service and Product Knowledge Kevin in paint department at Nashua Wall Paper was professional, knowledgeable and confident. He took a sample of the wood trim I wanted to match and a piece of the unfinished wood - told me to leave them with him he would figure it all out for me and call me with the answer the next morning. Sure enough he called next morning with it all figured out. When I pick up my wood and supplies, he organized and numbered all the products and brushes. I was so very impressed. Terrible customer service. I was looking for wallpaper and not one person acknowledged me. When I asked to take a couple books home the woman said just take them and never even recorded them so I NEVER returned them and never went back. I literally have spent over 10k on wallpaper for renovating my victorian home. Didn't spend a dime at Nashua Paint & Wallpaper. Just keep driving when you see them. They cater to contractors and lose gobs of $ from home owners because they are so lazy. read more

If you're male and in the trade, you'll get waited on ASAP. But as a female homeowner I cool my heels waiting for help at that ugly counter. .....I agree totally with Debra L S ! They do have employees like Ron who's their resident designer and he knows his stuff and can solve a paint dilemma in minutes. But if he's not in the store, you need to call and book appt. But the employees in the wallper/carpet/ kitchen area are often sitting around not actively engaging customers. Nashua Wall not open on Sundays, a throwback to an earlier era when NOTHING was open on Sundays....not good for busy customers but I don't think they really care. read more

Everytime I go here I swear that I'll never return. I could walk in completely naked, doing cartwheels, and not one person would acknowledge me. As stated in a previous post, if you are a tradesman you seem to be able to get some help. But if you are female, you are ignored. read more

First Impressions are the Most Lasting I entered Nashua Paint and Wallpaper and stood in line behind one other customer at the cash register. After 10 minutes of not being acknowledged by anyone, I asked the customer in front of me if there was only one employee on that day. The one who was assisting another customer and failed to say, "Someone will be right with you." The customer said there were two employees and pointed to the man who had been standing at the entrance, for the past now 12 minutes, talking to some folks about his family owning the building, owning other specific buildings in a nearby city, how long they had owned all of the buildings, who some of the people were they had in common, about an acquaintance who was in jail for a significant amount of time, and about his (the employee's) love of ski-doing, and about his children ski-doing, and then he pulled out his phone to show pictures of his children. After his self-promotion had finished he nonchalantly started to approach us. I asked him if he were an employee and he answered yes. I then said, "And you left us standing here all this time?" He said he was sorry with a smirk, and I then asked, "To talk about your family?" He then looked at me with the same smirk, but no words. I asked, "Really?!" At that point I left and I am going to inform the professional painter I hired to paint the entire interior of my house before marketing it, that his strong recommendation of Nashua Paint and Wallpaper for their knowledgeable and professional services was very incorrect and should be reconsidered. Maybe that egotistical young man is thinking too much about what the generations before him built in monetary value without considering the very important basics of quality and respectful service to a customer base that ensures the future of his children. read more

When I moved to Nashua 6 years ago, this was one of the first paint stores I went to. A few times I was in and out because I knew exactly what I wanted. BUT- if you want to get any customer service beyond the register- FORGET IT. During one visit there, I had needed some help with specific questions regarding their different lines of paint, as well as some design recommendations by their "designers". I waited for service while everyone else got helped but me. I walked out vowing never to go there again. Until I was desperately searching for a specific style of marble tile...and saw that they carry tile flooring. On Feb 5 2011 I walked in hoping to not get the same treatment. But alas...IT WAS EVEN WORSE! When I stepped into their tile section in the basement, some chimes went off to signal to their sales staff that a customer was heading downstairs. There were 2 women sales staff sitting on their tush who saw me head down there but neither followed me down. Not a single person to be found downstairs, either. About 10 minutes later, a family of 4 came downstairs (a husband, wife, and 2 little girls) and within seconds a sales person came down and IMMEDIATELY helped them! During this time, I had found several tile styles I was interested in but needed to ask some questions. I placed the samples on a table and waited for the sales woman to finish up with the family. It was more than obvious I was waiting for help. And stupid me, I turned my back for 10 seconds while they were finishing up...and next thing I know the sales woman is no where to be found! I was ready to purchase well over $500 worth of tile that day, had I been helped. I left the store right then, and WILL NEVER GO BACK. And I will also make sure my friends and family never go there, either! read more

I am new to the area and Nashua Paint was recommended to me. I am so glad they were! They were helpful and courteous at all times. I purchased paint, a whole house full of Hunter Douglas blinds and am going back for vertical blinds shortly. The designers in the window treatment area are just wonderful to work with. read more

I purchased carpet and had it installed. Everyone was professional and cleaned up their mess. There was an accident that occurred while installing the carpet where the tile in the next room got cracked. (We later found out our tile layer, who wasn't them, didn't put thin set to the edge of the tile and could've contributed to the tile breaking.) They promptly sent someone to replace the broken tile and we couldn't be happier. They were all very helpful and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone. read more
