Rusharn took apart the unit and showed me the mess that was left inside the unit that the last company had missed, it was pretty bad. The other company had not disassembled it completely, just did a surface cleaning. Rusharn was lovely to work with, efficient, on time, and so kind with our huge dog. And he charged less to clean and replace the pilot light than the other company did just to clean the unit! I will always use Black Swan form now on. They do get booked up in the winter (because they are so good!) so I made a note in the calendar to have them come out in the summer from now on, when the wait time is less. Highly impressed!

Ordered replacement glass for my woodstove and had it professionally installed. The glass was…read moresnuggly fit and it cracked after the stove ran for a few hours and then cooled down and I got it running again. This company said that the installer made the glass too tight and they wouldn't refund my money. I ordered a 2nd piece and had a guy install the 2nd piece. This time the guy showed me that the glass wasn't even snug in the stove. He could slide it around in the housing. This showed me it was looser than the just snug fitting I was told was how this glass should have been installed. The stove ran and then cooled down overnight. When I got the stove running again in the morning the new glass also broke. Keep in mind. I have 1 piece of original glass that was reinstalled by this technician with a new gasket at the same time as the first piece of replacement glass. That piece is perfectly fine and hasn't cracked. This company sells inferior products and should not be used.

This is totally not their responsibility, they know their stuff but they're not here to be your contractor and the pros, they simply work here and are knowledgeable at what they do - the rest, leave it to the professionals. So don't get mad if they don't "explain to you" how to install a tile or a backsplash. This is not a workshop it's a floor store. We've had great experiences coming here, once for a DIY thing and another time to get our bathroom floor redone. Both were fantastic experiences! This last time, they absolutely saved the day. We walked in knowing exactly what we wanted, exactly what we needed - thanks to their online selection and choices but also to their sq ft calculator, this was SO helpful. Bad news, but the tile we needed was not there, just one little half box was available. We asked one of the guys that worked there and he came out with a WHOLE PALLET of it within minutes. Ask and you shall receive! This literally made our day and we were able to get the pieces we needed in time for the pros to get our floor done. It came out incredible. I came in on Black Friday (gasp!), not for any crazy deals but because I was running errands with a friend and needed a shower curtain & some other household minutia. The store was busy but not overwhelming and there were plenty of employees around to help. I found a shower curtain I loved (I'm so excited just typing that, guess this is life in your 30s) and the display was the only one in stock so a nice staff member got that crazy enormous ladder and took it down for me, priced it ($13.99 from $45!!) and sent me on my way. Pluuuus it was an extra 20% off because of Black Friday! So that's my highlight for the month but the moral of the story is the staff were all great, they kept the lines moving fast, and it was a much more pleasant experience than I anticipated during a busy weekend.

She went over all the fabric selections with us and made an appointment to come to our house to review the placement and order before we actually ordered. While at our house she said we should get one chair for that area not 2 as we planned. She also suggested getting extra fabric since we have a cat and, well we know how cats scratch furniture. She also explained the protection programs which I never would have gotten had I not known how reasonable they were and what they covered. When the furniture arrived Dawn made an appointment to come to the house again. She brought the fabric we had ordered and went over furniture placement with us. She moved a few pieces and wow what a difference her eye made. She suggested what else we needed to finish the room including rug sizes (and she brought samples for us to see) and lamp heights. I don't have enough good words for her and for our experience at the store.
