Given it's tucked away, strip mall location, I found it very surprising that the place was immaculately clean. And the bartenders are super friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Second time I've been here and this place is great. The tables are in good shape and the equipment is nice and clean. Plenty of pool sticks with good tips. They have 2 areas of pool tables and another private area in the back. Went on a Friday night, place is open until 1am kitchen is open until 10pm. They also have a full bar with fair prices. Staff is friendly. Great place to hang out that's not too rowdy. Music is through a jukebox so based on whatever the people who are there play. Therefore, Huge variety. I definitely will be back and recommend it for anyone that likes to play pool. Just be aware apparently Apple Maps takes you to their old location so make sure you have the correct address read more

Played pool for hours in a great environment! They had empty tables between us and other games, so there was never an issue of crowding/bumping into each other. Price is a bit higher than other billiard places, but the quality is much higher! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great place to shoot some pool! read more

Yale Billiard is definitely the place to go for low key fun. The establishment has a full bar, and drink prices are fair. A table for 2 people is $8/hour. The facility could use some updating, as the decor is very 70s. Everything is clean, so its no biggie, its just a little dreary in there. The music they play is so-so, they could definitely use a DJ or a better iTunes playlist. Despite its shortcomings, Yale Billiard is an excellent choice for those nights when you want to get out but don't want to be overwhelmed by the party scene. P.S. The best pool hall in the state got a big time upgrade with their new location. The bar is much improved and the drink selection has something for everyone. Ask Rebecca behind the bar what the new signature drinks are and you'll always get something delicious and exciting. The tables are playing better than ever and there's always someone there to either shoot a friendly game with or take lessons if you want to improve. Shot at Yale tonight, Bobby Hilton was great to do some repairs on my baby, McDermott stick. He took care of my problem and didn't make me wait or leave my stick. So it's better than new and back to shooting and hanging out to get some practice in. I have to say in all my years shooting Bobby has always been a great sport and willing to give advise to help me or my team with our pool shoots and skill. This place USED to be a 5star, but then they got really cheap and cut the place in HALF and its SO VERY OVER CROWDED! its so ridiculious how small and cramed it is, almost like a joke now. I will never go again. read more

Yale billiards is definitely the top pool hall in CT. They have so much to offer from impeccable tables, to drink specials, delicious food or an overall good time with the friendly staff and regulars you will come across. They have 16 tables 9' all in pristine condition the rails are new the cloth is new, all the mechanics are clean and polished. Along with two 7' tables and also darts boards! The new location is much bigger which allows room for more activities!!!! The staff is amazing! Michelle G. is always helpful, friendly, and most importantly puts on a smile! The new place has a much bigger and fully stocked bar, two huge rooms with 8 9ft tables each and another party room with 2 bar boxes(and darts soon to come) Happy hour is from 3-6 on weekdays and a late night one on Sundays.... Yale Biliiards is the cleanest poolhall I've ever been too and the employees are so nice they make you feel at home. they have leagues that started back in 1993 and are still going, they are conveinently located right off the highway and are open till 1;00 AM most night. my husband and I love to stop in on a work night to unwind and enjoy each others company. read more

I have been going here for over 10 years. The staff is always friendly and the place and bathroom is clean. It is a fun place to go to play some pool. The tables are nice and I can tell they are taken care of by the felt on table. Years ago, I remember two pool rooms, but one closed and a wall put up next time I went to pool hall. The bigger room seems a little bit more crowded than what it used to be and every once in a while I have to wait to shoot because another person is shooting pool at their table and in my way of where I want to stand at my table. The bar area is a little small, but decent and clean. There are a few chairs in front of the bar and a few tables and chairs in the bar area. The drink prices at the bar are ridiculous. I paid $11 for a good sized mixed drink. The glass was a little bigger than the size of a soda can. The drink was not even good! Years earlier, the prices were decent and you could choose from two different size glasses. I was not even asked this time and I am not even sure if smaller glasses are available. A lot of times, I play music and there are a lot of choices for songs and bands. The prices for playing pool are decent for an hour of pool. read more
