Welll I hope the product is better than the communication and service. Took multiple emails to order as they kept telling me to do the same things I had already done. Then was almost charged more than quoted when I called to pay. When I told the person to check the order and email quote, suddenly it was the original quote. At that point I was told it would be 4 weeks from that date. At the end of 4 weeks, I was told delivery time was now 4-6 weeks even though I had ordered long before. Then I was told they would ship next week, which is now last week. The longest string of one line emails ever. Cannot get a tracking number for shipment. Hopefully, I can change this to a more positive review if I ever get my order. read more

FANTASTIC experience!! My Agio "Panama" furniture and cushions are about 10 years old. The furniture has held up, but it was time for new cushions. First, custom cushions are not cheap at all, no way around it. However, this company kept coming in at least $100 cheaper PER CUSHION than 4-5 other companies I found on the Internet. For my set, they were roughly $50 a cushion, and I needed 10. (So yes, others were quoting me $100-150 per cushion!!) SAMPLES: To start, I spoke to Jan and told her the samples I liked. She then said she would throw in a few more for me to look at. I probably had 20 decent size swatches to choose from...and all the same price; no hidden levels of fabric. Glad I did this because they look different on the computer screen that in your hand. ORDERING: I was nervous to order because I wanted to make sure the sizing was right. Again, Jan patiently went through my selections over the phone to ensure she and I were on the same page when calling something a "rocker" versus a "glide". I felt pretty confident when I hung up. DELIVERY: As quoted, delivery was about 5-6 weeks. I ordered in mid-October, and received them just before Thanksgiving. So, this was a non-peak time of the year, and everything went smoothly. I did call just to double check on timing, and I was assured that everything was good. QUALITY: These cushions are wonderful! After paying what you pay for custom shaped cushions, you hold your breath when they come. They are definitely a lot tighter to fit into my furniture than my old cushions that have been sat on for years, but that's to be expected. The stitching looks sturdy, the buttons look great, and the zippers function the way they should. Cannot wait to use these when it finally gets warm! Jessica Day and Jan followed thru by sending samples, we placed the order and shared with them that we would like to have them for a birthday celebration that would be within the 5 to 6 weeks deliver timing. We have now passed about 15 emails back and forth with no resolve to the situation.. I sent pictures numerous times, asked them to call me to discuss. No call back at all. I ordered cushions in July 2021 and paid for them. It is now the end of Nov 2021 and I still have not received my order. I understand there are many issues for businesses based on the COVID epidemic so I'm trying to be patient. The main issue I have run into other than just not receiving my order in a reasonable amount of time, is lack of communication and follow up. The company does not reach out at all. I reached out after 12 weeks of wait time to find out that my order was not begun because the fabric I chose was not available and would not be for months. I was directed to choose a new fabric from the website and call back, to find it was not available either. Jan was very helpful by letting me know what fabrics they did have. I really appreciate this. Based on the fabric pricing listed on line my option was a less expensive fabric, and got no refund. Had I chosen a more expensive fabric, I was told there would be an increased charge. They told me the fabric was in stock and the cushions would be made and shipped in 2 weeks. I heard nothing. I called after 4 weeks and was told they needed to check the warehouse and would call me back. I got no return call. I called again and have been told to expect my order to ship in about another week. I wish I could say I had the fantastic experience others did. I still hope when I do get my cushions they will be awesome. I know times are hard for businesses right now. Better communication would help everyone. read more

Customer service for me was terrible. I had a question on how to measure for sling chair replacement seat. The di sign was very similar to the products on there website. However the mounting to the frame was different. First I called and tried to explain the difference and similarities. The women taking the call said we can't make that. I explained that the sling is like your product with a 1/4" cord sewn into each end. Nope. I emailed pictures. Nope we can't do that. But they do. read more

Our elderly Hampton Bay wicker set patio cushions gave up the ghost after many years. I had no idea where to get replacements until I found these fine folks on the web. I was a little leery to order from Florida as we live in California but I have no qualms now! The sample fabrics arrived immediately. I lucked out finding this company to replace cushions for our patio set we bought 3 years ago at Home Depot. It is a wicker set by Hampton Bay. The cushions were still in good condition because we have a screened in porch so the weather does not damage the cushions but they were not as comfortable as when they were new. I searched the internet for replacement cushions for our patio set and when I found them, they said they made cushions for Hampton Bay sets. I contacted them and Jessica wrote back to me very promptly. She gave me a price quote but suggested I get samples because the cushions are not returnable being that they are custom made for you. I was able to get 10 samples and they were a very nice size for a sample. You could actually put it next to the furniture and visualize how it would look. We ordered our cushions, they came nicely packed and in a very timely way. They look amazing, they fit the furniture perfectly, are sewn so beautifully and we are thrilled. They are a wonderful, honest and dependable company to do business with. I would not hesitate to order anything you need from them. You will not be disappointed at all. I would love to give zero stars! When I placed my order the only thing they got right was my credit card number and charged me twice. they did refund one charge. I had to call 3 times for them to get my address, email, and phone number correct. I received the wrong size cushions 8 weeks later. I followed up with 2 emails showing photos the size of the cushions compared to the original set as well as a phone call when I didn't hear from the company. The customer service rep claiming she was "one of the managers" was rude and eventually hung up on me after telling me that I'd hear from someone about FedEx picking up the cushions and that I'd get a refund in 3 to 5 days. It has been 5 hours since I talked with her and no follow up contact from the company. DO NOT ORDER from this company. They had $535 of my money for 8 weeks and looks like I'll have to file a claim with my credit card company to get my refund. read more

I sent an email on Monday 5/18/20 to American Cushion Company / Patio Cushion Site / Patio Direct (all the same company). I waited for several hours for a reply and then called them. I spoke with a woman who said since I had emailed them, I was in a email queue and would have to wait for the manager to get in to get a quote. I was told she would be in by 10:30a that day. I never heard back from anyone until Wednesday 5/20/20, from a woman who called and said they had received a voicemail from this number and she didn't know who it was from, but someone in the background said it was from George. She had no idea what I wanted and when I explained it to her, she said I would have to email them. I told her I already did, and she asked for the email I used. I gave it to her and she began to look up my email. I asked if I could just tell her the model of my patio furniture and get a quote, she said "no", she needed the email. I asked why it took so long for someone to get back to me, and was told they have 2,000 emails waiting to be replied to. I then told her that if she was that busy, I would take my business elsewhere, she said ok and hung up on me. Rude and horrible customer service. I own a trucking company and we have 4,500 clients that we pickup every week, I would never not get back to someone within 24 hours, and we certainly will give quotes over the phone when the customer is willing to give us the information we require. This was a standard patio set sold at Costco, that they list on their website. I don't understand why, if I have the model, someone at that company couldn't give me a quote on replacement cushions. It is not rocket science, this is your job. Go somewhere else if you want to be treated with decency. After all, we are the customer. In these trying times (Covid-19), every paying customer counts. Also, if you do order from them, plan on waiting at least 5 weeks for delivery, that is what I was told. read more

STAY CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS! I planned on using this business to recover my patio cushions. The manager, Clint, needed me to send my existing patio covers to him as a guide to make the new ones. I mailed them to him and they were delivered. A week after they were delivered I called to make sure they received them and they couldn't find them. I had a tracking number, date and time of delivery as well as the name of the person who signed for them. When I called they were so rude and said "we can't locate them, I don't know what to tell you". Obviously I was frustrated. They said they would continue to look for them. No one ever called me to tell me the status of my cushion covers. When I called back, they acted as if I was inconviencning them. When I finally got the manager, Clinit, on the phone, he was incredibly rude! He said "it's not like I'm holding your cushion covers hostage, they just aren't here". He continued to get more and more heated until he was literally screaming at me over the phone! I was in shock and put him on speaker so my coworker could hear. It was appauling! Worst customer service I have ever experienced! I have never been treated that way by a business...not by any one! read more
