Patio Grill - Mexican Near Me - Pinedale, Wyoming

What should I say about Patio Grill? Hmm. If you can't handle this restaurant at its diddliest you don't deserve it at its doodliest. I've been there every night this week. Is it because of the food? Perhaps. Or is it because of the great service provided by our Indian waitress? I believe it was both working together in perfect harmony. If I was a death row inmate and they asked me what I wanted for my final meal I'd tell them I want none other than the Patio Grill!! read more

We stopped in here after a day of traveling after reading yelp reviews. We were obviously tourists but were not acknowledged or served the whole time we were there. There was only one table open since several tables needed cleared. After waiting around ten minutes for a waitress to give us menus, we left and found a better place. I cannot speak for the food, but the service could use some improvement. Disappointing. read more

Husband and I were here just for one night before checking out Yellowstone. We looked up places to eat, and definitely did not regret choosing the Patio! I got the huevos divorciados (breakfast served all day), and it was delicious. I've had this dish before in So Cal, which was also outstanding, and this was on par. The red and green sauces were great, eggs were perfectly cooked, and the refried beans were amazing. They do give you chips with bean dip and salsa in the beginning. My husband is vegetarian so he couldn't have the refried beans or rice because they're either cooked with lard or chicken stock. They were able to make him a great veggie burrito with black beans on the side, which he devoured. Service was great. Definitely recommend!! read more

Awesome spot. My boyfriend and I were dog-tired after a day of rock climbing. We rolled into this place kind of late - around 9pm. The clean counter and wooden swivel chairs greeted our tired bodies. The owner is quiet but very friendly, he welcomed us to his diner. We sat at the counter and ate the best meal we had had for weeks on our road trip. We were traveling from Los Angeles - and when the owner handed us the handwritten menu of taco options - I was in heaven! The best tacos I'd had since leaving LA. We had a burger and tacos - and I was sent into a dizzying spiral of delight. Afterwards we had two slices of pie - german chocolate and pecan - I was about to go into shock - but I couldn't stop shoveling bite after bite of pie and ice cream into my mouth. We also spent some time on their WiFi - a real treat to us being on the road. To all of you travelers out there - hit up the Patio Grill & Dining room, you won't regret it. Went for lunch on a Sunday. Restaurant was pretty much packed. Took a minute to get seated, but once we were seated, service was quick enough. Our waitress must've been about 12 years old (literally. no sarcasm). I also noticed what looked like a 12 year old boy working behind the counter as well. Our little waitress did a damn good job for her age. Sure, she asked if everything was alright when he had only gotten our waters, but we reassured her that our waters were just fine. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet done soft with hash browns done crispy and wheat toast. My friend ordered the Denver sandwich. My omelet was not soft, but was tasty and my hash browns WERE crispy. The amount of hash browns was small, but that actually helped me avoid the food coma I normally get from such a meal. My toast was forgotten, but after a couple of reminders, I finally got it. It wasn't quite toasted enough, nor did it have enough butter on it, but I'm not a huge toast guy anyway, so no worries. Three types of jelly, no jam or preserves at the table. The coffee was typical diner coffee My friend's sandwich was basically a denver omelet open-faced on toast. I'd eat here again if I was craving diner food. They are breakfast and lunch only. read more

Legit Mexican food! Had an Asado Burrito that was wonderful! Was worried when we first walked in on a Saturday at 6pm and we were the only ones here, but truly the food was great! Their salsa has the right amount of spice and the rice and beans are flavorful! Eat here! read more

We had 3 different items (a chicken Fajita Burrito, a Burrito de Carne Asada, and Pollo Asado) and they were all delicious. (The burritos are a little different from what I'm used to - they're baked with cheese on top, and served in a sauce, with sour cream and/or guac on the side. I prefer them this way to the ones that are wrapped in foil.) The service was also excellent. And the restroom was spotless. The booths are a little run down, though (not worth deducting a full star). Eat here! read more

Authentic, casual and delicious. Very helpful, gracious service and amazing food. The street tacos are delicious, customizable and very cheap at only 2.50 each. Great beans and rice. Would recommend to anyone passing by for a quick well priced meal. read more

Very friendly. I had a veggie omelet and it was good, like others have said it is a diner style food but they also have a limited Mexican menu and are looking to expand on it. The present management just took the place on this last March. read more

Great service and amazing menu.... You can get breakfast all day, and they look really good. We were here for lunch after a hockey game and they kept the chips and refrieds and salsa coming as fast as we put it away. It took us longer to decide what we wanted to eat than it did to have it made! The menu was explained patiently by our waiter who was very friendly and helped with suggestions. I went through at least two bowls of yummy salsa on chips and on my taquitos which were fried to a perfect crisp. We were too full for dessert, but will be back on our next trip for ice cream and churros, and definitely sometime for breakfast! read more

Traveling through Pinedale, Mexican food sounded good, so we headed for the Patio based on the Yelp reviews. The restaurant is located right on the highway, with paved parking right in front. The inside is simple, but very clean. As a party bonus, the restrooms are clean as well. We found the food to be good, but not very spicy - really could use a little "kick" in it. Tried this place because Los cobos was closed. It was very good I had the asada street tacos with a side of rice and my friend had a steak Quesadilla. Service was a little slow for it just being the two of us . But they were busy, and we wernt in a hurry so we didn't mind . I really don't like this Mexican restaurant. The service is slow. The plastic coating on the booths hasn't been removed and it's really tacky. The Verde burrito isn't green. Just not good. Go across the street to the other Mexican restaurant. It's much better. read more

Got takeout during off-peak hours, the cheese enchiladas had a serious funk to them and ended up getting thrown away even though we were very hungry. Also, the cheese inside was not even melted all the way. read more

My friend and I were in town yesterday for a wedding and decided to eat here for lunch! Best decision ever made! We both ordered street tacos (our favorite) and were not disappointed! I stopped for lunch and ended up coming back for dinner. The food was great and the server was incredibly friendly. We walked in for dinner 15 minutes before they closed and offered to do takeout. They wouldn't have it. Invited me to sit and eat and did not make us feel rushed. read more

Friendly staff - I got there a little afte 1 PM there were 2 other groups hyavng lunhc- I went for the Mexican burger aand my wife and I shared the tacos- GET THE TACOS!!!!! they are awesome!! The Patio grill is on my list of much have when we go to The Grand Tetons!! read more

I am a firm believer that a restaurant can go from good to great by its most basic menu item. After spending a little time in socal. The western Wyoming Mexican cusine was seriously subpar.....until I walked into patio grille. I was a little skeptical but they had me at carnita. Not only do their cooks prepare with flair but the flavor and consistency was breath taking. The kicker.... They gave me my beer of choice from their private stash! I don't say this often but ...
