On schedule Suzett calls again to set up an appointment for installation. Installation day comes and Randy and Trey show up on time for the installation on a very hot day. Randy and Trey install the enclosure, clean up the entire area and then show us how the enclosure works and how to maintain it. We were given a tote bag with some cleaning supplies, a tool to make it easier if needed to use the enclosure and a set of detailed instructions on how to use the enclosure year round and how to maintain it. The day after the installation Suzett calls to do a follow up and to answer any questions you might have. Professional and friendly people, quality materials and well made and excellent service from everyone especially Randy and Trey. I would have no problem recommending Porch Protection Systems. In July, 2022, I called their CS department to ask for a recommendation for a gate opener specifically designed for the 16 ft rolling gate which I had purchased from Garage Department six months prior. Their CS rep guaranteed that the gate opener, retailing at $769, would work with the gate I had purchased. I immediately ordered it, then hired a professional gate installer to outfit the gate with the new opener. After reviewing the owner's manual, and the way in which our gate rolled, he indicated that the opener would not fit the gate we'd purchased. He stated that the gate needed to be hung in order to use the opener, not roll. my gate was designed to roll. Despite me telling the GD CS rep this information, she purposely sold me a gate opener that would not work with our rolling gate. I contacted GD and asked for a refund. After two months of emails from GD stating that they were still working on my return, I received an email saying that it was too late to refund my money because the return period had ended. I relied on the word of the CS rep at Garage Department to sell me the correct opener for our gate and clearly, she lied to make a sale. This is a small company with less than $5M in sales per year, less than 25 employees, who, if they have any hope of surviving, should never lie to make a sale. I never would have purchased the pricey gate opener had I not relied on the expert advice of the CS rep. Now I am stuck with a $769 opener that I can't use. Don't support this company - they will do anything to make a sale including lie to a customer. They are a sham and should be shut down!

BTW MyShed (Wade Thomas) gave better pricing and quality
