Within 30 seconds DJ had diagnosed the problem as a bad wire connection, and within 30 minutes he was done and our system running perfectly for very little $. This is what you hope for when you call a plumber! Smart and fast, no opportunistic price gouging, And that's just for this fairly basic plumbing problem - they also do state-of-the-art solar, radiant heat and any other "green" or high-efficiency installations, and I will be calling them in the future for upgrades.

I explained to the woman on the phone that I wanted the drain cover (Turn and Lock) replaced with a new one or a trip-lever and strainer cover. What we were left with was a broken tub cover, nothing replaced. See attached tub photos. The plumbers who worked on the job said they had to "order a new part." Additionally, my husband asked them to look at the upstairs small bath and small kitchen faucets for water pressure issues. What we got were two aerators removed and nothing replaced. And now the bathroom faucet leaks because something broke off when they removed the aerator. See Attached Sink Faucet Photo. I called the office on 25 September 2023 to inquire about this unfinished job and the status of the part on order. I was told by the man that answered that he was busy and would call me back. That never happened. So now I have had to hire someone else to complete the job, a new tub cover and a new sink faucet. This is disappointing - to use a term that is as polite as I can get. I don't know who they sent, and I don't know who took the original request for service, and I don't know who answered the phone and told me he was too busy and never called back, but I see this as a serious customer service issue.

I had understood that it was due at least in part to a shallow grade of the outlet pipe...whatever. A couple of years ago, it had gradually become clogged enough that it was draining painfully slowly. I had RotoRooter out to clear it, and when the work was done, it was much better. It drained just fine, like before. Over two or three months this past fall, it gradually slowed down again, and I waited because I remembered how expensive it was the last time. Finally, there was no more waiting. It had become gross, it was so *disgustingly* slow, and I was even wondering whether it would require major work of some kind. I am so happy to have seen the glowing reviews here of Pipe Dreams. I called them & they were able to get me in in two days. Tyler was here for about an hour, and the tools he used were very different from the long, manual snake that RotoRooter had used. It/they were motorized things that had a reach far down the pipes. Tyler explained that he was staying mindful of the neighbors' pipes and not disturbing those. When he was done, he filled the sink with water & then released it. Since we bought this place all those years ago, I had NEVER seen it empty so fast, and I didn't even think it was possible. The water began to spin and make the most beautiful whirlpool and then was gone. The whole time he was here, Tyler could not have been more considerate, clear in his communication, and helpful. He also gave me tips on how to keep the drain clear. I kept meaning to write this review soon after he was here, but it's now been three months - oops! Here is the bright side to the delay: I can report that the sink has been draining wonderfully ever since, and it makes me soooo happy every time I use the sink. Call Pipe Dreams! Unfortunately some copper pipe segments from the previous water heater were .misplaced. as a previously installed then removed water heater had a check valve that "Didn't go to anything" despite the copper pieces were sitting within the water heater compartment. Hence it's not a big deal as they were 2 small and insignificant pieces. We didn't appreciate the gesture though. Please be sure to have scrap copper pipes that originated at the worksite to remain at the worksite in the future. We assume it was a simple mistake. Beyond that the work was well done, organized, and quick.
