After my horrible experience with another instructor, I came across a positive shout out to Patrick's CPR in someone else's negative review of the place that I went to. They mentioned Patrick was professional and respectful and to not waste my time with anyone else. So I decided to give it a try. Patrick is very professional, respectful and contacts you back in a timely manner. He offered the hybrid BLS class where you can watch/interact with the eSimulations online (which by the way are very impressive and new to me) and then have the hands on portion with an instructor. Very simple and beats sitting in a class watching old videos and getting yelled and cursed at by an unprofessional instructor. It took me while to write this review but I work at a daycare and our mandatory CPR training was on a Saturday morning. Obviously no one wanted to be there. But Patrick made the class fun and interesting, he kept it lighthearted while also reminding us of the serious nature of what we were learning to do. He told jokes, he gave some people nicknames, he talked about food. He had us put the number for Poison Control in our contacts, just so we'd be able to find it quickly. Patrick has flexible availability and is very accommodating. He came over and conducted a CPR and First Aid course for me, my mom, and another woman, in the neighborhood club house. The appointment was very easy to set up, I just gave him a call yesterday and we were able to meet on short notice today. The lesson was straightforward, practical, thorough and fun!
