When I showed up for class everything was already set up, multiple CPR manikins per desk. Class started on time, Sergio was very informative, kept our attention and was a great instructor. We worked on adult, youth and baby manikins and each attendee got to go through all three scenarios while being monitored by entire class to simulate a bit of pressure. Highly recommend, it was much needed as it's been years since I had taken the course. His course gives me lots of confidence should an unfortunate situation arise, I'm trained to offer help.

There are restrooms nearby (we all know it's the first thing we look for) so you could wash your hands as much as you would like or use sanitizer which was available. I've been to many recert classes or CE courses when the environment just totally ruins the experience. Not with Marni. She was incredibly helpful and quite knowledgeable. She made the experience amazingly comfortable and fun from start to finish. Her personality makes it amazingly easy for anyone to open up and truly enjoy the learning experience. She is well organized and this makes rolling from one section into another easy and seamless. The equipment was modern and very well maintained. The material was easy to understand and up to date. Instructor and equipment feedback made everything a hundred times easier to get in the groove and suddenly you realize that you're actually having a fun time. A little over a year ago, my friend and I scheduled and paid for a BLS class through her website. We showed up on time at the listed location, only to find that no one was there. After waiting about 20 minutes, we tried calling her with no answer. When she finally picked up, she told us she was teaching a class somewhere else and had no idea we were even scheduled or had already paid. She apologized and asked if we could wait another 20 minutes for her to arrive--which we did, because we needed the certification. While she did eventually show up and complete the class, the entire situation was stressful and completely avoidable. As healthcare professionals, our time is valuable, and being left waiting with no communication is unacceptable. To make up for it, she offered us a discount on a future ACLS course. However, when I recently reached out to take her up on that offer, she never responded. No follow-up, no accountability--just ignored. Overall, this felt very disorganized, unreliable, and honestly shady. I would strongly suggest going with a more professional and established provider for something as important as your certifications.
