I was privileged to learn all the in and outs all and all of the in between's when it comes to CPR,AED and first aid. My instructor Marni was absolutely fabulous because she truly cares about teaching CPR and is a wonderful instructor teaching it. CPR class is not one that you don't wanna listen to or pay attention to. This is a class where you want to catch everything because the timing what it takes for emergency to arrive may be too late. Understanding the effort of doing 30 thrusts is not easy and so the more people that know Cpr can assist will be able to take over if someone gets too exhausted. When I walked in with my daughter to get a duplicate BLS CPR card the first person to greet me was Tom the owner. He was warm and friendly asking me how my day went. Next I spoke with Becca she has a model's look but doesn't act snooty or like she knows she's drop dead gorgeous. She was professional and helped us get everything accomplished that we wanted done. As we are tying things up Steven said Hi with a smile and asked us how our day was going. This place is to get certified for CPR. When you walk in the whole atmosphere is like Christmas time. You walk in and you feel lighter as though all your cares and struggles are cast away. It's an indescribable feeling. Everyone there knows the Lord. Great training center. I was initially certified as an BLS instructor here several years ago by Tom, and have always come back to be re certified. Staff is knowledgeable and the interactive classroom setting is great. Good to get ideas from other instructors and SLS staff. They are extremely helpful and expedient for all my instructor needs or questions. I would highly recommend this training center if you need to learn CPR or would like to become an instructor. I've used SLS for several recertifications... As far as BLS is concerned, you can complete the AHA written material online at your own convenience, and then drop in for the skills test, which only takes 30 minutes. Super easy- I just realized my HCP BLS expires in 6 days and got online and finished with the course, with in-person skills exam, in less than 24 hours. Have found their equipment clean/new/well maintained and their process easy to navigate. They really make it so that you can get in, get out, get on with your life, and get your CPR on! read more
