When I showed up for class everything was already set up, multiple CPR manikins per desk. Class started on time, Sergio was very informative, kept our attention and was a great instructor. We worked on adult, youth and baby manikins and each attendee got to go through all three scenarios while being monitored by entire class to simulate a bit of pressure. Highly recommend, it was much needed as it's been years since I had taken the course. My mom had to take a cpr/first aid class as a care giver for my kids while I was sick. Found Heart N Soul on help of course, was close to our home and had great reviews. She took the hybrid class, online course then onsite skills for about an hour. The online course for the cpr/first aid is pretty lengthy and is honestly a lot to go through, but it's very thorough and really full of helpful information.. but she had a hard time getting through it because it was sort of information overload. But she got through it and went onsite for the hands on training. The hands on won't be everything you go through in the online videos so no need to be overwhelmed by the amount of information in it. Sergio was an amazing instructor. He was great instructor, really nice and very knowledgeable. Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to do a lot of chest compressions. read more

I've had multiple BLS renewal trainings in the past, some mixed with extensive online modules, but Heart N Soul is my favorite. Sergio's BLS Provider class was fantastic. His classroom was set up with everything you need. It was a nice, clean learning environment. He is incredibly organized and he knows his stuff. I took a BLS class with Sergio and found myself learning new things that were never taught to me in previous ADVANCED classes. He teaches you practical things and from real life experience which is super helpful. I may be a nurse, but I have yet to find myself in a situation where I actually needed to perform CPR. So my skills were lacking and after his class I actually felt confident that I CAN perform high quality CPR if the need ever arises either at work or at home. I took Sergio's Infant CPR and First Aid class a couple weeks ago and totally loved it! I'm expecting twins next month and I really wanted to ensure that my family and I were prepared for an emergency with the girls. He showed up to my house on time, was very friendly and never made me feel uncomfortable for a second. The class itself was way awesome! We started with the first aid video and then practiced what we learned on each other. The CPR part of the class was more extensive. He has 3 different sized dolls, infant, child and adult. You actually learn to do CPR for all sizes but with an emphasis on whichever you're interested in most, for us it was infancy. The dolls have little lights that turn green when your pushing the right place at the right speed and are red when you're not. The chests even rise when you give a breath to the doll! I highly recommend this class and the best thing is he will travel to you (within 100 miles)! And he gives group discounts. For us it was $61/person including the CPR certification card. read more

Great instructor and great atmosphere. Easy to follow instructional videos and instructor ran through demonstrations prior to practicing and validations. Followed COVID safety protocol- 6 feet at all times from other class participants (they even took in a smaller capacity), provided hand sanitizer, and all CPR supplies was in a closed and sanitary kit provided to each individual participant. I would HIGHLY recommend attending this CPR program. I am a dental professional that is continuously required to keep my CPR and AED BLS licenses up to date. I've been in many classes, through many companies as well as online & this class by far has been the most informative, interesting and professional atmosphere I've attended. I called on Friday, and was accommodated on tonights Monday night class and on such short notice- I definitely appreciated that!! From the first few text messages setting up my attendance in the class, to sending a confirmation text with directions on how to get there was great! I really enjoyed taking Sergio's class. He was engaging and tailored the course to the class since most of the class were becoming babysitters and I am becoming a teacher. He added in scenarios that we could possibly encounter not only giving it a personal touch, but allowing us to feel comfortable and confident going into our perspective fields. It's wonderful to work with someone who has a passion for what they do. Sergio is both professional and knowledgeable. He creates a friendly environment where you can feel comfortable, making it easier to learn. I've trained with many instructors and Sergio is the only instructor I've worked with that created a first aid scenario in which we practiced bandaging and disposal of contaminated materials in addition to the cpr training. This is far more meaningful than going through First Aid videos.
