I was a patient at this dental office in 2023 until my personal circumstances changed significantly. During that time, I became the sole caregiver for my mother, who was battling Alzheimer's disease, which limited my ability to keep up with routine appointments. Recently, I contacted this office to schedule an appointment after my current dentist advised that I need a deep root cleaning from a periodontist. This office is listed as in-network with my insurance, which is why I reached out. During the call, the front desk staff member placed me on hold after initially having difficulty locating my information. When she returned, I was informed that the office refuses to see me because I did not answer a phone call from them in late 2023. I find this reasoning both disappointing and unprofessional. Refusing to see a former patient based solely on a missed phone call--without any history of missed appointments, no-shows, or inappropriate behavior--is unreasonable and lacks basic compassion. My mother passed away in early 2024, and since then I have been trying to establish consistent dental care. Being dismissed in this manner, without any attempt to discuss or resolve the issue, was frustrating and unnecessary. Patients dealing with serious life circumstances deserve understanding, not rigid and punitive policies. read more

As a 100% disabled veteran I am disgusted by how this business treats our vets. Apparently being in the ER, as a farmer who had heat stroke, isn't an excuse to reschedule an appointment. Apparently ALWAYS CALLING to reschedule when something comes up, which I was told was 3 times since 2022, will get you dropped from this office. I've waited for 4 months for them to fill these painful cavities in my mouth, they blamed the va. I was In the ER 3 times in the last 2 weeks and had to reschedule my appointment on Wednesday to Friday because I was too nauseated for a 30 minute car ride. I asked on the phone if it was ok, nobody said anything to me, In fact she put me on hold, and set up a trap apparently with the manager. So when I came in for my night guard, which was going to have to be ground down after the fillings were fixed AFTER I received the guard, they drop me, with holes in my mouth. Do not allow the VA to waste federal dollars on these people who clearly have no understanding of veterans needs. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for using us to build your business during the pandemic"" when times were tough to now treat us like total trash. First, general dentistry, they are not accepting new patients till August. Second, I was scheduled to see the periodontist, in which I need. Got scheduled within a week for 12:10. Okay, filled everything out online before hand but some offices have you fill out additional documents before in office, so I arrived early. Sorry mistake! I waiting till 12:40 and asked how much longer do I need to waiting as I had an additional appointment at 2 for my car. She went into the back and came back, she said it'll be an additional 10 to 15 minutes! 45 minutes? I told her to cancel my appointment and I left. Do not go here and PLEASE read other reviews!!! I just visited Dr. Lucich here, she is one of their newer Doctors, I believe she has been with the office for a little over a year. The check-in process was simple. The lobby was comfortable and busy, with each patient only waiting a few minutes to be seen. Natasha, the assistant was helpful and seemed to have a very natural flow of assisting the Doctor. The doctor was professional and fun. I will be back to get my regular cleaning. I hear they may expand their offerings to include dental care supplies and provide Botox and Fillers. 10 out of 10 would recommend. read more

I'll admit, I'm not a fan of the dentist. The scratching of the teeth with the tools, the awkward questions that aren't yes or no responses while your mouth is wide open being cleaned, or the after pain that comes when they've finally finished sledgehammering your gums. I was way past due for a cleaning so I pep talked myself up for this visit. I can say, this location wasn't terrible. From completing the intake paperwork to waiting to be seen, the actual cleaning, and making an appointment afterward, it was all smooth sailing. Patriot Park Dental is a business that is hard to get into, even when you have an appointment. Back in April I had to reschedule a "cleaning" due to Hip Surgery, my Orthopedic Surgeon didn't want me to take any chances on an infection. No biggie I thought, but they didn't have any appointments available for four months. So now I'm waiting ten (10) months between appointments and/or cleanings. Yesterday I had called their office not only to confirm, but also to pay the balance from my wife's account. Today I went for my appointment, they told me they had cancelled it ?!? They said I had not confirmed - I couldn't believe my ears. They couldn't work me in or anything - they were sorry, my opinion exactly " They are SORRY " !! I've read reviews and I can only speak of my experience. Starting with the front desk. Jaime was pleasant/professional; hygienist (Jenna) was damn near a Dentist and very knowledgeable; and the big guy himself Dr. Arnold was pleasant to speak with; learn from; and do business with. With that being said, I try My best to take care of my teeth so I don't have to rely on others to fix me up. Only downside, and I feel this way about all dental offices. Like many other reviews in here state, despite the friendliness of the staff, I am concerned with their level of dental aptitude. I went in to have a filling done. Now as a precursor let me note I had NO pain, NO sensitivity in my teeth before coming to Patriots Park Dental. After getting my filling done, I now have nerve pain throughout the right side of my face, I am unable to chew foods on the right side of my face and I have debilitating hot and cold sensitivity now. When bringing this up to Dr. Boone, they decided to replace the fillings and try again. After replacing the fillings my pain and sensitivity got even worse than before. This has impacted my daily living and my jaw is constantly throbbing now. I get headaches, neck pain and my bite feels off and I'm fairly confident they gave me TMJ. As far as coming here, if it's for anything outside of a routine cleaning I would suggest going somewhere else. When bringing these issues up to the girl at the front desk (I believe her name was Ashley) and explaining why I'm not coming back I didn't even get as much as an apology. I am so disappointed in my experience here. Because I went from 0 issues and pain to now living with pain and misery in my mouth 24/7 I will be seeking legal representation for medical malpractice. My mother took my son to the dentist here and they told my mother that for some kind of coding on his teeth it would be zero dollars out of pocket and instead of honoring what they told my mother and listening to me when I tried to call and find out who it was, Traci decided that it was a good idea to tell me to calm down and hang up on me when she rudely interrupted me in the middle of my statement. I just recently moved to Georgia and needed to find a new dentist (for cleaning and a few minor pains). After full x-rays, which they quickly charged my insurance for, they decided to do fillings on the teeth that were in pain. The pain didn't go away. In fact...it got worse. I returned 3 weeks in a row for "adjustments" before being told "Weren't you told that you might need a route canal?" NO......I wasn't! Not only this, but I needed to contact my insurance provider as they neglected to inform me that they owed me a refund! One route canal later and now I'm learning that the OTHER tooth that they did a filing on needs a route canal as well. Find another dentist because you're going to waste your money here. read more

While Patriots Park Dental is located in a shopping center and isn't really large, the customer service and quality of work are fantastic. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile. The facility was clean, had new equipment and Dr. Moreno explained everything he was doing while working on me. They tried to charge my husband $70 for a routine cleaning because he hadn't been in over six months... even though they also said his teeth weren't that bad, just some plaque build up. I tried to tell them that was ridiculous, but they wouldn't budge and they were extremely rude. My husband ended up walking out of the appointment altogether. I reported them to my insurance company and they are currently flagged for taking advantage of people. read more

My experience at Patriot Park Dental was absolutely horrible. My family and I, based upon the reviews, believed this to be a good place for dental services. Unfortunately, this was not the case for us. The dental hygienist was not pleasant. She had no regard with showing frustration in her actions and on her face with doing her job. Patient care skills lacked significantly. When I responded to her poor attitude, she rolled her eyes. This is clearly unacceptable. I proceeded to express my concern to management and he responded, "She's our best hygienist, and she never has a problem". Translation, your complaint doesn't matter. Good luck. Very unfriendly front office staff (they do not even look up or greet you when you walk in) and poor communication and follow-up of issues. If something happens and you ever have to reschedule an appointment, be advised they will have to book you 5 months out for a new appointment. Excellent front office personnel & staff that work with my schedule(open weekends). They even have a board certified prosthodontist/dentist which is AMAZING! It's Evans/Grovetown's best kept secret. The hygienists are friendly,beautiful & actually care about their patients. I have had cleanings & dental work completed here. I highly recommend this place for a first visit if you are anxious or nervous about finding a dentist.They accept insurance & try and work with you. Friendly family atmosphere. I would put no stars!!!! The receptionist was rude! Don't know her name but she was a older Caucasian. I made an appointment for Friday, I rescheduled it due to the fact I wasn't feeling well, so she reschedule it for Monday @ 1. she did not go over her policies when she rescheduled it if she did it would not have had to come to this problem. Over the weekend it did not get any better. So Sunday came around and I just gotten worse, so it was closed so my husband went up there Monday morning when they open and remind you I'm a new patient I don't know their policies, I didn't even sign any documents. She tried to charge me $50 and I try to explain the situation, about work and me going to the hospital for my bronchitis and I also have a doctors note. Wasn't trying to hear anything long story short , I was a new patient and my kids were going to go there also so they just lost three customers because of her attitude. I'm sure it might be a good facility but when you have people like that working for you and that's the first people you see when you walk through the doors or over the phone I rather go somewhere else that has better customer service because this world is rude enough. And if you're not happy there go somewhere else so other people won't have to deal with the drama. Would not recommend. In my opinion, people normally comment when they've got bad things to say and that's absolutely what I'm doing. I went sometime last year after I got back to fort gordon and I needed cavity work done. It was my second session with them so I expected the same thing to happen. I got shot with Novicaine, the cleaned out the area around the cavity and filled them. This time however, they put the Novicaine in and then a bit later, the dentist told me to feel my tooth. They had cut off most of my tooth without telling me that they were doing that. It wasn't like a nub with a crown, they had cut most of it out and left a weird ridge on one side. They filled it with a metal material and I wasn't pleased. I didn't really know that I was supposed to ask them explicitly what they were doing or else I never would have allowed it. It's recently broken and I called back to see if they would fix it and because I never went back they want me to pay for 2 missed appointments before I can come back. Being in the military, I didn't know when I'd be available so every time I tell them I'll call back when I know my available times. I never called them back because of the shocking experience I had. Needless to say, maybe they'll be good for other patients, but make sure you ask them to tell you what they're doing before you assume they're doing the same thing you previously discussed. read more
