Unfortunately/Fortunately it was right around the time I needed to get my hair done for my baby shower. So I went to Be Bella and booked an appointment with Clara! Since it was my first time with a new stylist, I kept it simple went short and dark. I have not been more IMPRESSED by a hairstylist EVER!!! I've now been going to this salon for a year and a half and trust Clara with my vision every time. I bring her inspiration pics and she talks me through what I want and what she thinks is going to look best. I get compliments on my hair all the time, everywhere I go! Clara and the wonderful ladies at Be Bella make it feel like girl-time whenever I'm there. Drinks, snacks, girl-talk and gorgeous hair, what more can you ask for?!

This is my official first post on yelp! I'm an avid user and finally signed up so I can start…read moresharing my experiences. I came across the page for Tease as I was looking to make sure they were still open and knew I had to share!! I moved down into the city a few years ago and stopped going to Theresa because it wasn't convenient and I didn't have a car. Well, that's going to change. I have officially tried multiple extremely well respected and reviewed hairstylists in the city, and not one has gotten a second visit from me. I started getting my hair cut and highlighted by Theresa years ago and she is INCREDIBLE! I have dark brown hair and she did an amazing job making my highlights look completely natural and a beautiful shade of blonde. It always looked rich in color, never with any of those typical gross shades you can get when you've got dark hair and try to go lighter. I've also had her dye my hair extremely dark and it looked fabulous. Theresa also does incredible things with cuts!! I almost always had really long hair when I was going to Theresa, and it is also extremely thick. She always knew exactly how to cut and layer my hair so I still had length, but it finally had natural body and movement!! She even chopped all my hair off for me once to donate to locks for love and it again, looked great! I wish she was located next door so I could go there everyday, but regardless I'll be making the trip to Elmwood Park so I can have Theresa do my hair from here on out - the quality and service she provides just can't be replaced!!

I always feel like my hair is fun again after a visit! I finally talked my boyfriend into something other than a crew and he went to Maggie at the price he normally pays at any men's-cut place on the street. He liked it, I liked it, and his hair made it through 4 weeks (and counting) of COVI looking good... and that's at least 8-9 weeks after his cut! Like I said... Magic. Hands.
