I didn't agree but was forced to sign a waiver if not the airbag safety recall would not be addressed. It was chevys mistake for the recall to begin with so anything in the process of correcting the problem should put them accountable for. My dash had no cracks chips or any damages before leaving my truck there. After picking up the truck I was infuriated. my dash was cracked in several major parts and is the only thing you notice as soon as you get in. I could understand one crack but as many as it has now , it should have 100% been replaced. they really f***** me. It is practically pieced together. I'm hesitant to even wipe it down. because of their recall now the appearance and value of my vehicle went down. it's embarrassin. how is that fair for the customer.

The porter made us walk to the back of their fenced gated area to get it, which leads me to believe it wasn't really done. I went back to the service department and they told me to come back as the tech already left. About four weeks later again stranded with a shifter issue with a trailer behind the truck. I tried to bump the shifter into gear to get the truck out of a entrance road, and the plastic junk broke. Needless to say, they wont warranty their already junk work. I received very professional service from Nelson, nice guy who honored the oil change coupon emailed to us just as advertised. I mentioned the tires were low on air and they took care of that too. Waiting are is nice with coffee, cold bottles of water, snacks, and a small cafe for things like cookies. Places to sit and watch tv, or bring in your computer to get work done while waiting. Main complaint are the annoying sales reps here who pester you with pitches for refinancing, replacing your car with a new model, and the windshield replacement glass scam they hit you with as soon as you pull up. Yo, I'm from New York and wasn't born yesterday. All I want is an oil change not a new car!

I am writing a quick update to my previous review because that review concerned buying a used…read morevehicle at Vann Gannaway and this one reflects my first trip for service. We bought a Dodge minivan there and are very satisfied with it, so I set up an appointment for an oil change, which includes tire rotation. Also we had had a trailer hitch installed elsewhere before that, and afterwards the left rear turn signal didn't work. It has an LED light assembly so I knew it wasn't just a bulb. I took it back to the place that installed the hitch. They replaced the hitch wiring harness under a parts warranty, but afterwards we found it still didn't work. I mention this because I figured I would have VannGannaway look at the turn signal problem during the oil service. When I spoke to them they said it being a Dodge, they might have to take it to the Dodge dealer (whose service ratings aren't nearly as good as Vann Gannaway's). I thought about it and later decided to take it to an auto electric garage for that work, and the problem was fixed. That left just the oil change/tire rotation. When I dropped the van off, I mentioned that the Oil Change alert message ran every time we started the car and could they reset it this time? He said he would tell the technician, but it was a Dodge, so he couldn't guarantee it. Well, they did reset it, so that was good. In conclusion, so far I would recommend them for service for your Chevy, but since we don't have a used car warranty with our vehicle, and since repairs of our Dodge seem to include the possibility of having a Dodge dealer work on it, I will continue to use our long-time service garage.
