Unprompted, they proactively contacted me a week ahead of the delivery date to make final arrangements, offered to prepare the kayak with the accessories I bought (no charge), and then delivered it at exactly the time and (hard to find and reach) location we agreed on. That's when Chris went way above and beyond, spending at least an hour going over everything with me, and helping carry the kayak and gear from our driveway to the water (two round trips of over 900 ft each way). I did not explain or ask for any of that in advance, nor was there any extra charge. Just that good old fashioned "let me help" attitude so rare these days. A great buying experience from start to finish -- and the kayak is fantastic, too.

The store is a mess, sort of; looks more like a warehouse now and less like a place to shop. Staff is minimal...I mean scanty... and those that work there have no desire to really help you. They are, however, interested in socializing with each other. I don't blame them actually. Poop rolls down hill, right? So, if administration has no mission to provide great quality and customer service, no pride in what they are doing, why would the minimal staff that work there?
