    Beef Patty
    Larry L.

I've been wanting to try these patties for a while, but there was always something else in the mall that we decided to get instead. One of the latest trips to the mall, I finally got a change to try a patty. Ordering and paying was very quick, and I had a hot patty within minutes. The patty was very hot, so hot I couldn't eat it right away. Once it cooled a bit, I noticed that the filling was very thin and more liquidly than I expected. It had a good spice level but seemed to be more filler than meat. The price of the patty was somewhat inexpensive at $2.39, but I did expect a better quality filling for that price. The pastry shell was pretty good, as it was flaky and tasty. Maybe they had an off day, but from this experience, beef patties that you get in frozen in a supermarket seemed better and less expensive than these patties. Given the other choices in the Food District and the mall itself, I would probably not order from here again.

I grew up eating beef patties when I grew up in NYC. However, when I moved to the Pacific NW, there was a dearth of beef patties. I was pleasantly surprised to find them in Toronto and the GTA. I was visiting Square One Mall, walked around the Food District, and found this Patties Express location. This was one of the few places in the morning with a line of customers. We all saw the freshly baked patties come straight out of the oven. I purchased a box of 6 patties, half non-spicy and half regular spicy. I wish I had ordered the extra spicy patties. The patties were flaky and the filling was soft and oh so savory. I'm a fan.

Want a snack? This is the spot in Square One! From meat to veggie to spicy, this hits the spot in every way! I got a beef patty that was mild (because I can't handle my spice at all) and my fiance got the chicken curry one (which I tried a bit, it was a great flavor but too spicy for me!) Overall, the patty dough was delicious and the filling was generous!!

Fresh ! Fresh ! Fresh ! These patties are so fresh! I couldnt resist getting a dozen. I got a combination of very spicy beef and chicken. I got there at around 10:10 am and the patties were taken out of the oven literally 5mins before I got there. The aroma made me super hungry and I just had to have one in the car. I tried the beef pattie. It was crisp on the outside, hot and flavourful on the inside. You guys got a loyal Pattie's fan here !

My friend swears by the patties at Patties Express. I had never had any until last Friday. When I was saying goodbye to my friend at The Food District, I was in front of this Patties Express. I needed dinner, but had downed three cream-filled buns from Hattendo. I needed something light. I first looked at getting a box of patties. I then stopped myself. What if I don't like them? The menu had a combo, which features two patties and a pop. Yes, please! There was a short lineup. It was a sign that it's a decent patty place. When it was my turn, I got a polite and enthusiastic guy. He asked me what patties I wanted. Since it was my first visit, I got a mild patty and a spicy one. I could compare and contrast. He let me know that he had marked the package containing the spicy patty with an S. I appreciated it. I paid with my debit card. It was straightforward tapping. I was done. He said that I could simply grab my drink from the fridge. I was heading back to my car and the drink was super cold. I had a new fanny pack and placed my drink in there. I drank it when I got home and it was still cold! Seated in my car, I ate both patties. They smelled so good that I had to. I had the spicy one first. Maybe I have programmed myself to eating spicy food. There was a spicy heat to it, but it wasn't overly spicy. Delicious and so fresh! I could have asked for extra spicy, but it's always good to keep things safe when you're ordering from a place for the first time. The beef filling was flavourful and there was a decent amount. The pastry part was perfect for my liking. I then consumed the mild. Same verdict. Yummy! I didn't mind that it didn't have a spice kick to it. It allowed me to focus on the beef flavour with every bite. So good! I will need to get a box next time. A dozen is roughly $19. This store has chicken and vegetable varieties. The filling options are as follows: - Beef: non-spicy, spicy, and extra spicy - Chicken: spicy - Vegetable: spicy The child version of me wouldn't like that the chicken and vegetable come in spicy only. I couldn't handle spicy foods as a kid, so I would have stuck with the non-spicy beef. I will likely come back and get the extra spicy beef, and give the spicy chicken and veggie options some love. Great spicy beef Patties. Hands down the best Patties in 'sauga Miss the downtown location (need to make room for another boring condo). Chicken also very good. But BEEF the best! Incredible filling and pastry the best I've ever had.

I literally grew up eating spicy Jamaican beef patties. Like more than hot pockets. More than ramen. This was my maggi. A couple minutes in the toaster oven and a whole lot of hot sauce. Yes, I was dousing my food in hot sauce since childhood. My parents started me young. When I last went to Canada, my cousin wanted to take me on an international food tour of downtown. This was the first stop. Any doubts we are blood related? I've pretty much only had from-frozen beef patties my whole life so this was my first fresh one. And man, was it a game changer. Before we took this trip back to our home country , my dad was telling me stories about how he'd pick up fresh Jamaican patties when commuting and that they'd be served in a pillowy coco bun, the perfect shape and size for the patty. When @shanim99 took me to this spot, we noticed they happened to serve coco buns as well! We picked up a box of the extra spicy (duh) patties and a box of coco buns and took them home to surprise my dad with. I can't tell you with absolute certainty, but I'm almost positive his face lit up brighter than when it did when his first child was born

Chef's kiss to the patty in the coco bread! Definitely my fave! The patties are flavourful and the crust nice and crispy. I will be back again

a bakery with a lot of baked goods

These guys lied to me saying that these patties are not microwaved but I can't be fooled by that awful taste! That's why I had to take a picture of their microwave to prove them wron why would anyone microwave a patty instead of baking fresh patties! Stop ripping off customers trying to convince us that these patties are freshly baked when in fact they are microwaved

My sister asked me to buy for her from Patties Express. Actually I tried it and although the food was not particularly my taste, I can say that it is affordable and you can buy half a dozen of each patty and have it as a snack for lunch. The total cost was $10.99 for half a dozen order. The service was quick and efficient. There were no line ups when I visited. You can find this location inside the food district area at square one shopping centre. I definitely would recommend the non-spicy flavour as I don't handle spicy foods well but there is a spicy flavour if that is your taste . Would recommend to visit this place if you like patties.

Square one shopping mall the food district I've visited patties express checked it out I've purchased 2 patties. Extra spicy beef patty & spicy chicken patty yummy, caution be careful hot as in heat temperature. Decent sized patties. Great price: $2.19 each for a patty, delicious, crispy pastry, unfortunately made with artificial beef & chicken filling. That's ok still tastes good! Made from scratch, one of the best patties by far that I've experienced. I'll definitely continue to purchase more patties, I highly recommend this location.

A pretty big mall, good place to go with friends. I love the patties in the food district. They are a great size and price for a snack or light meal. (Can be a little messy) I recommended the beef, extra spicy.

I also bought some Mini Xmas Cookies to try later and they were equally top-notch. French Corner is the real deal. I'll definitely be returning.

The texture of the croffles had a crispiness on the outside which made this dessert delightful to take a bite into. We chose the Honeycomb, Tiramisu and White Chocolate Matcha. We thoroughly enjoyed each flavour but a personal favourite of mine would be the tiramisu. My friend's personal favourite was the honeycomb. We're both not into white chocolate but to our surprise, we enjoyed the White Chocolate Matcha flavour as well. The matcha's earthiness really complemented the touch of sweetness of the white chocolate. The cream on top of the croffle was also rich and smooth. The ice cream was a good addition. As mentioned in my previous review, the server was friendly and had a warm smile. The place encouraged people to connect with each other and I thought it was a cozy place to do just that. Overall, I would come back again to try out their other desserts.

We sat down at one of eight tables before I went up to the counter to place our order. The cashier began entering the order into the cash register beginning with the drinks, followed by the desert selections.... Big mistake! Embarrassingly, after about 3 long minutes of them walking back & forth viewing each of the pastry displays, the cashier received our picks and then she was able to finalized the payment. Fresh desserts for a reasonable price. (btw, there is no special discount if you order large quantities of an item). The coffee brew was strong the way I like it, but way too strong for my parents. I had to ask our server to dilute it by adding 50% more hot water to their cups. Friendly service. No Wi-Fi. I will definitely come back to pick up other desserts and try their hot sandwiches.
