We understand waiting a few minutes, but 30 min is not okay. 2. The sweet server assisting us for dinner was in training and we learned from her "trainer" that she wouldn't be getting any of the tips from our dinner. Additionally, the "trainer" came over around 830 to tell us that although it was only three of us that gratuity is automatically included. Very odd that we were told these things during our meal. The server being trained should absolutely get a portion of the tips - we hope restaurant management reconsiders their policy on this especially since we hardly saw her "trainer". We normally tip over the 20% but because the trainer didn't get any of our tips, we opted to not increase the tip that was automatically charged to us. The Food: I ordered their "famous" fried chicken, customizing it to three thighs (which came with homemade pickles and a fantastic ham gravy). Surprisingly, the absolute star of my meal was the side of sautéed mushrooms. It came with little pearl onions, shallots, and green peas. I topped it with some of my friend's arugula to make it fancy, and it was delicious. The Service (or lack thereof): Here's where it went downhill. The dessert order became a saga.
