Yes, go here for your evaluation. One, they took my insurance. Two, the first appointment happened right away, within a few days after I called. Three, the testing is more thorough than any other evaluation I've ever seen. Four, they put a lot of thought into the report and provide helpful recommendations. Five, it takes only three months to get the report, which is short compared to other places that have waiting lists. Six, everybody there, including the girls who do the testing, are friendly. Absolutely a great place to go it for your loved ones young or old and get a professional analysis of what you have concerns regarding a diagnosis of just mental health in general. They are very thorough so it does take about a month to get the results a back. read more

Dr Mancillas is kind, his office staff are pleasant, but it simply takes too long to obtain a diagnosis. We started working with the team mid-May, were done by early June, but were not scheduled to meet with the doctor till mid-Oct, and that was after I called in Aug to request the next available appointment. That's simply too long to wait, AND our insurance was over-billed. Consider seeking services elsewhere. read more

If I could give this office zero stars I would. I have NEVER left a review for anyone, but people need to know about this scam. I came to this dr to get tested and they were all so nice, until they sent me a bill for thousands of dollars I do not owe and 5 days before it was due....I have called the office and they tell me I need to call Brenda from billing which I do and have at least 6x a day and she will not answer. She does call me back but if I answer she will hang up because she only wants to leave me a voicemail she will not talk to me personally. I am getting a lawyer now because this has gone WAY too far and they took advantage of me. Please find another dr to get tested if you are considering going or else you will be caught up in this same scam. read more

I had a really great experience with Dr Mancillas. I recommend him. Comfortable setting and he was genuinely a nice person. If you need testing for psychological and neuropsychological he can help. His whole staff was really nice. read more

How many parents out there are still waiting for their sons/daughters test results? We've been waiting since the end of December. It is unfortunate that Dr. Mancillas got Ill and has been out of the office. We wish him a speedy recovery. What is unacceptable is the evolving explanations of when the test results will be completed. Denise who manages the front desk has not handle the communication with us in a professional and honest manner. We are very understanding parents and we also understand the circumstance with Dr. Mancilla's office but it's hard to believe that Dr. Mancillas is the only person who can turn around these test results faster than several other doctors. We are ready to file a complaint to the Department of Consumer Affairs Board of Psychology. Note to Parents: continue pressing for those results as they are very important for the sake of our children. read more

First off- Dr. Paul Manceas is incredible. Like Iron Man (arguably the best superhero ever according to my son) incredible. This has been a long journey to get myself, and my children the diagnoses they deserve, so that as a home schooling mom, I can be better equipped to know HOW to teach them, in a way their individual brains will understand. Also, I learned the best way my brain retains facts and information, which has helped me tremendously in having more patience for myself, and by extension for my kids. The testing is long, rigorous, and it made my brain want to explode- however the drs and staff that administer the tests (parts are written, verbal, and some involve sounds, music, and computers) actually make the process bearable. Everyone was kind and helpful, and I was very impressed with their scheduling. Please- if you think you or child may be ADD/ADHD, or autistic, or if you just want to find out the style of learning that will work best on you and/or your child's brain- go see Dr. Manceas now! Having a proper diagnosis will make getting your child help in the public school system much easier, as well as the proper medication, and Dr. Manceas also assists in finding psychiatrist/psychologist for you and/or your family members. Run! Don't walk- to this hidden gem and get your kids the help they need to have real self esteem, so they can tackle whatever life throws at them. read more

My child got tested over a month ago I have been calling and calling and trying to get the results they keep giving me the runaround that they need paperwork I sent in the paperwork still haven't heard anything back. I paid well over $200 out of my pocket I don't know how to get a hold of this office every time I call now it rings two or three times and goes to voicemail i have even emailed twice read more

I've been here for 4 appointments thus far and have never had a better experience at any Dr. ever. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. Waiting room is comfortable. Dr Mancillas is very nice and seems to genuinely care and always asks if I have any questions after each appointment. He is much farther away than many others I could go to, but, it's well worth the extra drive. read more

I have 2 adopted kids with emotional issues, it's been a very long struggle to mainstream them. I was actually referred by a psychiatrist I was hoping to evaluate my son. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to understand what exactly is driving some of his behavior issues. Dr. Mancillas has a very professional yet compassionate vibe and the office reflects that. He and the office exude an easy-going atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. My son can be oppositional but never was even with hours of testing. His testing was the most thorough we have experienced-a battery of 19 tests, some of which had multiple components. The evaluation covered all my questions and he gave me opportunities to ask him direct questions and for opinions throughout the process. Scheduling was super easy and he made himself available.
