I went with some friends and they all had a great experience but Briana the person who cut my hair had no idea what she was doing I told her no shorter than a 6 guard on my back and sides and I got this (check the picture). 3 hours of my life I could've spent doing anything else. Only positive was the hair cut cost $15.

Second time coming here and once again blown away. The whole staff really listens what you're going for and achieves it so well. I mean Need I say more? Miss Alondra did her THING.

I had Mya Hammond do my root touch up and toner, she's amazing! Great prices and no pushy sales pitch. I can't wait to go back, she did so well!

I had an amazing experience! My student stylist was Bri. She had great attention to detail, took her time, and ensured I was comfortable throughout the process. She did a full lift from black to blonde on 4A hair. My hair was extremely dry and tangled when I entered the salon. I was amazed and so grateful for not only to Bri but her teacher Ro. Ro took the time to break down every process and provided recommendations for myself. I was there for 7 hours which i didn't mind because I stressed taking their time and I got the opportunity to watch 20+ stylist. I can honestly say I would return again and feel good about it sitting in any seat.

Absolutely no. I emphasized subtle coloring techniques when I came in as I am a brunette. I made the comment that I don't look well with blonde highlight. When I was showing her inspiration pictures, the instructor asked what I specifically likes about each and I made it VERY clear I wanted subtle color and a change in style. I did say I wasn't super picky about what happened within those parameters, but what I received was a complete mess. I showed the stylist and instructor a "painted on" looking BROWN highlights with a medium length layered haircut. What I ended up with is a one length, bleach blonde hair style with the worst highlights I have ever seen in my entire life. The highlights are halfway down my hair with very distinct lines of where she applied the brush marks. The instructor made multiple comments insinuating that she knew the girl messed up (for example, ways they could fix it, how she could change the technique) and tried to coax me into agreeing with the hairstyle at the end, not even checking it because she knew how bad the girl messed up. I asked for brown highlight as after the instructor seen that my hair was bleached she asked me if I was alright going blonde instead. I said that I would prefer to be brown like what I suggested initially, but then agreed to do a dark ash blonde because at the point my hair was bleached to, brown was nearly impossible. At the end of my 6 hour long session, the instructor tried convincing me how great it looked and if I was so happy forgetting the fact that I could hear all the mistakes they were trying to correct. I will post pictures if anyone is interested. Please just don't waste your time. Lucky for them, my appointment was at 10 and I had a meeting at 4 (right around the time they finished my hair, yes 6 hours for a bleached hair style) so I just left. Even if I didn't have a meeting, I would not want to stay to have the same people who ruined my hair attempt to fix the disaster they created. This was he worst hair experience I have ever had. If you're going to be cheap and get a bang for you buck, remember hair correction is always more expensive than just having a true professional do your hair in the first place. My healthy long brown hair is now a bleach blonde mess that is going to cost me a fortune to fix.

I came in for a color touch up today. I was paired with Alex, and I can't sing his praises enough. I've been going to another location before I moved, so I'm already sold on Paul Mitchell services and products. Love the online booking, love the services, love the monthly specials. Altogether a wonderful experience! I highly recommend coming here for any services, men, women, or kids. They'll take care of you and you won't pay a fortune.

I was so excited looking forward to the class because I knew it would be a great learning experience for me. Nika is one of those rare teachers that does not hold back when she is explaining or teaching you something. She will literally tell you all that she knows. And she doesn't get annoyed by people who ask a million questions (that's me). I'm in a season of my career that I'm trying to take things to the next level, and her class was the perfect class for me to take at the right time. I am a nerdy makeup artist who happens to have an advanced college degree. Nika appeases that side of me because she brings in a lot of her background in the arts when she teaches. She knows a lot about bone structure and color theory and is very knowledgeable about that world and how it translates to makeup. She just doesn't explain the what, she explains the how which, for a person like me, is how I really learn things. Nika is also very honest. Earlier in my career she gave me a very intense critique that gave me a lot to work on and helped to push me farther along on my journey. Nika has inspired me to work on my business plan, website, logo, know my way around legal issues, make quality connections, how to brand myself and to really dream long term about where I want my career to go. She doesn't discourage you but she empowers and encourages you to fulfill your potential. After taking her class, I have enough on my to do list to keep me busy for the next year, at least. And my confidence has increased that the goals and dreams that I have in my heart are actually reachable. She also spills her guts when it comes to her makeup application techniques which is so helpful. A lot of artists may leave out one or two most important steps in their technique that really perfects it. Or they will act like something they are doing is simple and common knowledge and gloss over it, when it is something they had to work to perfect. Not Nika. She is very open and sincerely interested in helping others become better at what they do. She explains her step by step and doesn't hold back on her products that she uses. I am very glad to have crossed her path and I plan to take more classes from her in the future.

(spoiler alert: it did not blend), and i am now having to spend an actual fortune to get this corrected. additionally, the student was more attentive to what other stylists were doing and her personal cellphone the entire time than what she was doing to my hair. she repeatedly dropped foils on the ground and still used them on my hair. she scratched her own scalp and stomach and didn't wash her hands before going back to my hair. she RIPPED through my hair with a circular bristle brush while it was wet and freshly bleached (thought it was kind of basic common knowledge that you should be gentle on hair in this state but i guess not??). you can see how sparse my hair is after this experience in the photos- my hair wasn't exactly the healthiest (hence needing a cut) but it was FULL when i walked in there. disappointed is an absolute understatement, i am still DEVASTATED (and furious) literally weeks later. if someone from management could contact me- that'd be great.

I got a relaxer last time, but this time my hair was (mostly) natural and I wanted to keep it that way. I requested a natural hair process of wash, dry, and trim. I had a style picture sample to show them too. My stylist (Tranise? Denise? Raynisa?)was more of a novice in need of supervision this time than my previous stylist, who was mostly there to accrue hours. She was friendly and approachable. As with my last service, I paid FIRST, word of warning to those who go. Not sure what the return/exchange policy is there for very unsatisfied customers. The atmosphere was upbeat and supportive, with my signs encouraging smiling and positivity. There seemed to be the same supply issues, however, of equipment missing, misplaced, or unavailable. I was told a diffuser would be used to keep my curl while drying, but no one seemed to have one. After a mishap or two (too much product, had to rinse it out) I was placed under the dryer but no additional conditioner was applied to my hair. I should have requested it but really should I have to? I got some good advice on maintenance, and I got the style that I wanted too. When I am more comfortable handling my hair I will go back, maybe bring some equipment/product just in case.
