Had us in the very next day, and all the staffed welcomed us in open arms, and was making jokes and making me feel comfortable and safe. The front desk lady named Emily was very patient and explained everything and took care of me right away. Aleesia , was the dental hygienist she was so friendly and happy and literally did her very best to get all my pictures taken and she cleaned my teeth great and explained to me how to floss better and how to get into the little parts of my teeth. Chris was the doctor he was outstanding and makes sure my teeth was good, he explained that he wanted me to get my wisdom teeth out, and he literally made sure i felt happy and everything, i literally am so happy to find this dentist. Now, my oral surgeon was doctor Hopkin, he literally took charge and made sure i was in good health, asked me tons of questions, he knew exactly what to do and how to help me and keep me alive and safe during my surgery. He was very gentle and for the most part i didn't feel anything when he took my wisdom teeth out, he was literally a godsend and he makes me feel like Family. Thank you Doctor. We had x-rays taken, then we were taken to the back room. The dental assistant was great and did well with my son. The new dentist who I was meeting for the first time, Dr. Vy Tran entered the room. Dr. Tran did not introduce herself and immediately asked my son "who's those people?" and pointed at me and husband. My son said "that's my mom and dad" and Dr. Tran said "should we make them leave?" My son said "no". She said "are you sure we shouldn't make them leave"? As I was looking at my son's face he was very uncomfortable and she was very persistent on making us leave the room, we did not. She asked me if I had any questions, I asked about a previous injury to my son's front tooth and she was sarcastic and rude with her answer's. She started feeling around in his mouth and he told her that she was hurting him and she dismissed his feelings and she said he's not in pain as she put both of her fingers into his mouth and started pushing in his mouth. She told us that my son had a small cavity in the back left side and told me he needed a filling. She told us that the only way she can work on my son is to put him to sleep, I asked is there any other way instead of putting him to sleep, as I did not agree with that and I stated that my other child had a filling procedure with the dentist before her and was not put to sleep. She was very persistent and pushy on wanting to my six year old to be put to sleep. She told me that if I wasn't going agree on the way she does things, she stated that I can go somewhere else. So I told my son to get up and we left the back room. I talked to the front receptionist and expressed my feeling and my experience with her and they told me that she is their new dentist and I told them I will not be coming back and will have to find a new dentist. I have never had a bad experience with this dental office. I'm very offended and disgusted with the way Dr. Tran talked to me and how she treated my son. My son does very well with the dentist and has never had any issues. She made him very uncomfortable and now he is not happy going to the dentist, she has ruined that experience for him. After these appointments, we felt like using Damon braces would provide the best treatment for our daughter. The place that had recommended these was pretty pricey, so we scheduled a final appointment with Dr. Carr who, without our input, recommended the same treatment plan we had already decided was best. Even better, his prices were much more in line with our budget. That's two stars already. From the moment we scheduled our first consultation until she got her braces off, Dr. Carr has been patient and informative throughout the whole process. He is very personable and kind with our preteen daughter. That's another star. His staff are all super friendly and encouraging. Every time I've been there people have welcomed my daughter by name and have been friendly and warm. When she's been anxious or scared about something, other assistants have chimed in "you got this!" or "it really won't hurt - you'll be fine!" which has definitely helped my daughter through some of the scarier moments with braces. That's another star. Finally, his plan worked. My daughter's smile looks great and her teeth look healthier than ever. He seems to have successfully prepped her jaw for the upcoming onslaught of more adult teeth. We feel confident that she's in way better shape now than before.
