Okay this place is not only super cute but it is also soo delicious, my favorite combination. Its in the middle of a small town but you can tell its the local hot spot because so many people were there and a lot of people were doing pick up. I can understand why the menu is so diverse and there are a million drink options. Also, the customer service was incredible, everyone was very nice. One downside is that there is only one bathroom but the upside is that it was very very clean. I also love all the options they had for drinks. They have a daily drink of the day that changes. My friends got that and loved it. I got one of there seasonal drink, the Spring Fling macchiato. It was a lavender and marshmallow macchiato with cold foam and sprinkles. The food options are pasties and creative toast. I personally did not get food but my friend got toast (the prosciutto & pesto one) and she loved it. As advertised. Coffee in a house. It is cute as heck and was a lovely discovery. They did a brisk business - people were in and out the whole time I was there (I took over a corner table for a meeting) - for a mid-morning Friday destination that is a bit off the beaten path. I had a latte topped with a decorative heart pattern and my colleague had a fancy coffee. We did not opt for pastries. I will go back to try a regular coffee to judge completely and try a fancy toast (topped with ricotta, pesto, spinach and honey... or bacon?? - I heard great things). There will be a ridiculous daily coffee treat with a silly name, syrup and whipped cream - if that calls you, go crazy. read more

This coffee house is a must try. They have a large selection of flavors to customize your lattes or teas. We also did the BYOB (build your own breakfast) and ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese, spinach, bacon and pesto on the side. The total was $15 but left a tip. Paula's Coffee House is a great small business in an unbecoming block across from a small park. It is tucked tidily away in a segment of other businesses and it would be easy to miss if you weren't looking for it. However, given this spot's great coffee and unique treats, I wouldn't recommend letting it pass you by. It was my wife who first suggested we swing by Paula's, as people in the medical field know their coffee, and her coworkers had raved about this business. We had been a few times before I got around to giving this place a solid review, and were never disappointed- but I elected to come into a recent weekend visit with fresh eyes. Even with a renewed look at this place, Paula's hit the mark with friendly service, delicious and always changing coffees, and- brace yourself- a menu built largely on toast! We had two of the special pistachio iced coffees with delicious crunchies on top (maybe "Smacks" cereal from my youth? Great flavor pairing!). The coffee is exceptional and the spot appears to roast their own- Paula's own blend adorns small shelves that buttress the counters. We also experimented with two flavors of the loaded toast- a diverse menu of options of (literally) toast loaded to the brim with delicious and unique toppings. Tasted on this visit were the "Summer Stach", with ricotta, pistachios and honey; the Nutella, bacon and maple; and the peanut butter, banana and honey. Who knew toast could be so gourmet and delicious! The business presents the toast open face in windowed boxes suited to a fancy cupcake or other baked treat; the toast lives up to its fancy accoutrements. Also seen but not tried; many other packaged baked goods that may be great, but didn't seem to offer the same uniqueness and personal touch of the toast flavors. A shade over twenty dollars out the door, Paula's serves coffee that's good enough to be pretentious but instead offers a friendly, small town vibe. As we took our order to go, a friendly smiling face wished us a great morning, busily wiping down the counter of what is an already sparkling-clean establishment. Paula coffee I guess the house brand is actually good. Service was excellent. The snacks I just don't believe they are made on premises reminds of the frozen food section of the grocery store.
