It wasn't that busy when we walked in. Bartender and a couple people utilizing the pool table. It was pretty chill but I'm sure it can get busy later on in the evening. Progress felt like home and the owners made you feel like you were hanging out in someone's backyard bar. Besides seeing someone piss themselves on a chair I never saw anything negative here. They had amazing michelada beers that were perfect for summertime heat. Progress had the best Dodgers postseason watch parties. They would roll out the big screen and the place would be full of fans cheering. It terrible seeing this progress close. There is going to be a big hole left in South El Monte community.
