I had a Groupon for two sessions in the floatation tank…read more I've floated before at a different place and it was an okay experience. I was able to book my 1st session on the website and when I got to the facility, the guy at the front desk gave me the rundown on how the tank works and what to do to have a more pleasant experience. I showered before I got into the tank and then stepped into the tank and laid down. They had a device kind of like a floatie that you can put around your head to lift the head which helps to align your neck. This helped tremendously as opposed to my last experience. The last time I floated, I didn't feel relaxed all the way because my head drooped to far into the water. Don't get me wrong, it still floated but...something just wasn't right. One other thing that helped with this experience was the earplugs. They helped to block out the sound as well as keep water out of my ear canals. It was completely silent. Once the lid goes down and the lights go out, you really do feel like you're floating in darkness. I think some people say it's like what people may think it was like to be in the womb. The water in the floatation tank has the salinity to make your entire body float. So you can relax your muscles and body because it's totally supported by the water. Weird, right? The water is also the same temperature as your own body temperature so it's easier to relax and not get cold. After 60 minutes or however long you're booked for the water starts flowing around you and the lights come on to bring you back to the living world...lol. You get out the tank and shower off. Even through all this, I still don't think floatation is for me. Maybe if I did it more often I could learn to really relax in there but I just had a hard time really just letting go. I got bored after 30-45 minutes and got antsy waiting for my time to exhaust. I could have just got out then but I paid for a 60 minute Groupon so I was going to stay in for 60 minutes even if I was just swimming around and doing laps for the last 15 minutes. Haha! Another reason I started to get uncomfortable was that I was getting hot. The water is at or around 98.6 F but my body temperature is usually around 96-97F regularly. I was sweating in the water. I could feel the sweat on my forehead as well. Plus, the salt in the water dehydrates you a little. It would be nice to have some water afterwards. So I suggest bringing a bottle of water. My Groupon was for two floats but I didn't go back. Nothing against the business, I just wasn't feeling it. You might have a different experience though. All you really need is a bathing suit for this experience. The guy at the front desk said that many people float in the nude. They provide everything else, towels, soaps, earplugs, etc.

Float your boat, I mean...your BODY at Chill Therapy…read more I came here on the whim of a friend looking for relaxation. Luckily, Groupon was having a special. So, here I go into a floatation experience at 9am in the morning. I was greeted by Tom who was pleasant and helpful as I frantically roll in 10 mins late. No worries, Tom puts the Chill in Chill Therapy. After I sign my 1st born away for the disclaimers, Im off to float! The rules are explained plain and simple and now into the pod! Yes, a pod of salt of water. When you first get in, the water feels different, almost thicker and softer. The temperature is slightly warm and very comfortable. Once you settle in and and allow yourself to float, now it's time to relax every muscle in your body and release. Releasing and quieting the mind is more challenging than the floating. You think thoughts like, "Is this what it was like with I was in the womb?" After you get over the fetal regression moment, you start to give into the relaxation and almost slip into a light sleep or meditation. It's rather pleasant and restorative. But what if I drown Quin?! Don't worry, the viscosity of the water ensures that you float appropriately and your body stays in place. After an hour of floating, you awaken and began to feel like it's time to move your muscles. Coming back to reality, you start moving and will notice that your muscles and body feels lighter and more fluid. As an added bonus, you feel less stressed and may even notice a better nights rest at the end of the day. . I definitely recommend this as an experience to try. Feedback: I do think the option of a nice guided meditation walk through would be a great experience builder for those who don't mediate at all.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their products and services. We purchased a Groupon for the detox and it didn't disappoint! The infrared sauna was nice and private (only the 2 of us). I didn't react well in the salt room but she loved it. The staff assisted me in getting some O2 (they have an oxygen bar) as I was experiencing a coughing fit from the salt. They also provided me with some additional water. The cryo space isn't for the faint of heart. You're LEGIT in a freezer (they give you gloves, socks, slippers and a mask to wear. You're supposed to stand in there for 3 minutes (I made it 60 seconds ). The sauna and salt rooms are accessible to those who need/use a walker but the cryo is not (you must be able to stand without assistance and there's nothing to hold onto inside the freezer). There is ample parking as the Riverview location is in a strip mall.

This was not just disappointing; it felt predatory. The nurses are careless, irresponsible, unethical , rude too The promises made during the sales pitch were grossly exaggerated, the actual services were underwhelming and ineffective, and the products provided were not worth a fraction of what was charged. Once they have your money, the urgency to help you magically disappears. What's most alarming is that this place markets itself as wellness while pushing treatments that, in my experience, felt careless and potentially harmful rather than safe or medically sound. There was no meaningful monitoring, no real concern for outcomes, and no responsibility taken when the program clearly failed. This business appears to profit off false hope, targeting people who are vulnerable and genuinely trying to improve their health. Charging premium prices for zero results is unethical, and in my opinion, borders on consumer exploitation. I strongly warn anyone considering Allegra Wellness: Do NOT waste your hard-earned money. Do NOT trust the promises. Do NOT fall for the marketing. There are far safer, more transparent, and more effective options elsewhere. I regret ever walking through their doors and hope this review prevents others from becoming the next victim.

The techniques applied by he and his team were instrumental in my recovery. After two years of immense pain and inability to exercise, due to tennis elbow, I feel hopeful for the first time in recent years and have begun my pain free recovery thanks to his expertise. With the use of electromagnetic radio waves, laser, and other proprietary tools only within his practice I finally feel myself again. Had I discovered Dr. Tommy Rhee and his team 24 months ago I am certain I would have avoided the painful life altering surgery that I endured and recovered without a single incision in just a few months of therapy. Most importantly Dr. Tommy Rhee and his team displayed compassion and actively listened while I explained what had occurred over the past two years. The time they took to listen rather than jump to conclusions enabled them to develop a therapy plan to meet my own needs instead of providing a therapy plan extracted from a text book which had failed to work at all other physician offices I had visited. I highly recommend those suffering from the debilitating effects of lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) to first seek Dr. Tommy Rhee and his team at Physical Chiropractic of Tampa before subjecting yourself to surgery.
