Beautiful facility, clean and well-run. You can swim laps for an hour for $3. Locker rooms are closed right now due to COVID but restrooms are open.

Fantastic Multi purpose facility. Located on South Pavillion Center drive in Summerlin, the Pavilion Center Pool reopened in December 2010 after some upgrades and renovations which included a new enclosed roof. The center includes * Fifty-meter by 25-yard indoor pool * 14 lane competitive pool * One 1-meter springboard * One 3-meter springboard * Pool Lift * One outdoor pavilion Pavilion houses plenty of different club based organizations which includes Synchronized swimming, water polo, Children's swim classes as well as Viva Las Vegas Masters Swim team which encompasses triathletes, swimmers and pretty much anyone who desires to get in and learn to swim that are 16 years old and above. The council also employs lifeguards every time the pool is open. So if you come in on a recreational swim or you have kids that are not good swimmers, you'll have safety precautions in place. Lockers are also available free of charge in both woman's and men's change rooms. Also provided is hot showers as well. I really do like this facility, it's clean and well organized. They do not have a shop with swim products like swim wear, goggles or food/ drink products, so make sure to pack before you come by. The council website for this facility is http://www.lasvegasnevada.gov/Find/21065.htm Overall a great facility with plenty of sports and accommodating levels. Pavilion Center is a real jewel in the Summerlin area. I really recommend here.

A great place for swimming lessons for kids of all ages. My daughter loves going to class! Instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, which is helpful when your child is nervous about swimming. To top it off, the cost for classes are very reasonable. I haven't been here in cooler months but in the hot Las Vegas summer it can be warm and very humid inside so dress appropriately.

Hey, look! Someone took some advice from my review :-)

Ask the Community - Pavilion Center Pool

What's the cost to use the pool for a day if you're an outsider from another state like California?

How much is it to get in the pool?

It was $30+ a month for a membership which included pool & classes, but I don't recall the price to just get in once.

They maintain a safe swimming environment for children of all ages, and the facility was overall very clean. They don't seem to have enough of the life jacket vests for the super littles, which is the age that these are most commonly worn. A lot of older kids were using the super small vests which should be regulated a little better by the staff. Staff tried to make it fun when the pool had to be cleared during the safety check. No one really wanted to participate in their games but it was still a great effort by the young staff to make the time pass quicker. I appreciated the thought! We brought our own snacks and beverages to enjoy, which I highly recommend. I also recommend arriving somewhat early or there will be a wait to snag some lounge chairs.

REVIEW FOR LAP SWIM ONLY…read more I had no idea this pool existed until my pal told me he's been swimming laps here for a while. Located right next to Cowabunga Bay off of Fort Apache Rd., I arrived right before 6am when the pool opened on a Tuesday morning. There were already about six people there waiting for the doors to open, including my pal. Once inside, all of those people scanned themselves in since they were all in possession of passes (you can purchase a 90-day pass or an annual pass at discounted rates). Since this was my first time, I paid the $3 fee for adults 18-54 years old (it's $2 for 3-17 year-olds, and $1 for those 55 and up). If I had read the rates at the desk, I would have realized that it would have only been $1 for me since I qualify for the senior rate now--ugh! Oh well, next time. The current hours for SUMMER LAP swim are: Mon-Thurs : 6am-12pm / 3pm-7pm Friday: 6am-12pm / 1pm-7pm Saturday: 11am-3pm Sunday: Closed FALL LAP swim hours begin on August 7th: Mon-Friday: 6am-12pm / 3pm-7pm Saturday: 11am-3pm Sunday: Closed The facility is very clean and the staff is great. There are several lifeguards on duty. I didn't have to share a lane while I was there, probably because it was so early. The water was just the right temp, too; not too cold. The women's locker room has two showers as well as numerous lockers for you to use (bring your own lock). All in all, this is a great facility to get a workout done.

Costs 2/5 Ambiance 5/5 Amenities 4/5 Service 3.5/5 Cleanliness 2/5 Food 4/5 Not having a Dyson blow dryer for a luxurious spa- ZERO 0/5 I'm not sure what this place looked like before but the remodel looks amazing! This is why I gave 3 stars. I love how this spa has shade by their own spa pool! Plenty of space! I didn't like how cold the pool was though! You would think they have the heated pool but nope! It was cold. We had to go to hot tub first to warm up! Ambiance is great! Relaxing. We loved all the amenities like the gym, hydro pressure shower, dry sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, indoor pool, steam room, meditation room. The steam room was out of service though. We love the big comfy chairs everywhere! Water/snack station was okay. Needs more work..like more drinks and snacks! Food was great when we ordered from the spa menu. Chicken Caesar was delicious! Service was great but not excellent. Everyone was nice but I hate the fact that they automatically charge you 20% for spa staff but what the heck do they do when they don't even clean. See below. I'm not a fan of this! Hey you get 20% local discount but we will charge that back for auto gratuity for spa staff?? Wth. I literally just tipped my masseuse more because you know damn well she isn't going to get that all. My masseuse was amazing! She got all my knots out and gave me one do the best massages ever! Her 25 year experience really shows! Book Barbola! Room for improvement: Cleanliness- I say ICK when showers are not cleaned in between guests. That is a major issue of concern you all need to address. They didn't have enough showers for people to use and instead of someone actually mopping and sanitizing the showers; I saw the lady just take the dirty towels and put new ones! That's PLAIN UTTERLY DISGUSTING. LIKE AIRPORT LOUNGES IVE BEEN TO, THEY DO A BETTER JOB CLEANING INBETWEEN GUESTS. So of course I saw hair on the ground. Grossssss. On top of it, they reuse the water for the hydro pressure and I saw hair floating there too!! I cannot. IF I AM PAYING AN AUTO GRATUITY OF 20% THEN I EXPECT THIS PLACE TO BE SPOTLESS. NOW IF THE SHOWERS ARE NOT GETTING CLEANED; I DO NOT EXPECT EVERYTHING ELSE TO BE CLEANED. LETS TALK ABOUT THE BLOWDRYERS. So you have this new nice remodeled, luxurious spa with the pretty vanity areas. But instead of finding a Dyson for a blowdryer. You find a cheap ass Conair blowdryer from 1990. Com'on! You can't blow dryer hair with this ancient machine! I literally didn't even dry my hair because it was garbage. I literally went home to just use my own Dyson. I can't believe Modern Vegas Luxury made this top luxurious spa when there isn't even a Dyson. Last important things to remember- they charge you the full service price of your massage if you do not call 4hrs before massage to cancel! Make sure you confirm all your friends, family, loved ones, whoever. Don't invite that one friend that will flake!! We tried to talk to managers about this but they were not willing to accommodate this lost in money! We get they have strict policies but honestly- we even asked to use the service for enhancements or extend one of our massage. NO ACCOMMODATION! They even had the NERVE to charge us 20% service charge. My friend had to fight this one! How do you charge this when the girl didn't even show up! Anyhoo, come for the vibes and massage here but don't expect it to be super clean. Bring friends that won't flake. I'll come back if they clean this place up...

When the weather starts heating up, that room gets so hot it's impossible to work out. I swear the A/C doesn't work for that room, or it never had AC installed, because it seems like it was originally meant to be a storage room. The best ventilation you can get in that room is when they have to move the location of the class to the main gym because kids use that room during the summer (which I can't even imagine how hot it must be for them during the summer, how is that even safe?) They tried adding a few fans scattered around the room to help cool it down, but the only thing those fans do is blow hot air around. I've even resorted to purchasing several mini fans that I bring to class with me and attach to my bike, which is so ridiculous. There are also several people who have been coming for a while who completely colonize the fans in the room and move them to where they're ONLY POINTING TOWARDS THEM. I can't believe I have to fight for proper ventilation while I'm trying to exercise. Please fix the awful cooling system or move the class somewhere that actually has working AC, it's the same story whenever the weather heats up and it's been that way for 15+ years before it was even Les Mills RPM. Why am I paying $60+ a month to die in Las Vegas because YMCA can't fix their AC?

Despite driving by literally twice a day to get to work, this spot really wasn't on my radar until…read moreI got their mailing ads for their summer family pool membership promo. We joined last year, and the deal was something like four months for $200 for the family? Don't quote me on that but I'll be on the lookout again this year. The location is definitely on the older side but staff were nice. We got a full tour and all of our questions answered when we joined, which was a touch lengthier of an experience than I would have expected but you could really tell that the staff here care about their jobs. They also shared useful info for my toddler and upcoming programming for her age range, which was a nice touch. Despite having access to their classes, we only went for the outdoor pool. There are a few shaded areas with turf to bring your towels or chairs and stake out a spot while the kids splash around, it does get crowded at peak times. There are plenty of lifeguards and staff around to keep an eye on things for safety. There's basically a wading area with a climbing structure on one end, and a deeper pool for older kids with bigger slides and lanes at the other end. Every hour or so there's a swimming test check and everyone gets out for that. My toddler is still a new and tentative little fish, so we mostly sat along the wall in the knee-deep area and practiced floating and splashing. The pool area has loud and family-appropriate music playing for a fun atmosphere, and you can get safety vests as needed. Kids are fairly well behaved with parents and staff around. Locker rooms and bathrooms are dated but as expected, no issues. Everything has always been clean. If you don't have a membership, you can pay a daily fee - as a bonus, the first hour of pool access each day is for members only, which is a calmer time to take smaller kids if it doesn't conflict with naptime. On another kid-related note, I do appreciate that we can pretty much bring whatever toys, drinks, and snacks we want here - you'll see some families with full on coolers to spend the day here. If I could suggest some improvements to the pool area/experience, I would love to see a shade structure added to the tables/chairs by the check-in booth. It appears that they used to operate a snack bar (which would also be nice, but I understand it's not a priority) and the seating is there but completely useless when it's 100+ outside. That space could really be utilized if it was covered.
