This is a typical grocery store that is a bit crowded but maintains cleanliness. The aisles could be a little wider and the fruit and veggies sections could look a little more manicured. The hot bar has really good food. The only true sad thing is the fish department. They said their fryer has been broken for 2 years and management has done nothing upon multiple requests. I am there several times a week, solely because side it is just a few steps from where we live and hence super convenient. It is small and pretty condensed and crowded. The serving staff are more friendly and helpful that the staff at the (MUCH more expensive) Bristol Farms over the road. Parking is limited but being a local that is no problem. I tolerate this Ralph's location as I'm sure many in the neighborhood do. It is dirty, and disorganized. The produce manager should be fired. 75% of the produce I've bought is either rotten when I get it home or when I am at the store, the shelves are stocked with expired product. There are no standards at all. A few years ago, they had a security guard present and now it's a mess. Getting out of my car after sundown is wild. As a woman I'm harassed by all number of people. Simple changes, a little investment and training, maybe the store will be equal to the other big chain grocery stores. Also it would be nice if they stayed open until 12am as advertised. Arrived at 11:55pm the other night and they were closed early. I gave it 2 stars because it's such a great location and very convenient to have nearby. Do better! read more

Grimy and dilapidated with low inventory, crushed and mishandled products. The last time I was there it smelled like straight up trash in the summer near the entrance. The aisles are so narrow because they're just trying to maximize what they can peddle to you and someone should make an ADA complaint. Several times I've bought frozen items here I've come up open them and find it they were either obviously melted and refrozen or punctured in some way and freezer burned. read more

Wow less than three stars? I enjoyed my time hunting for the bathroom at least. You have to go underground, take a potion, and walk thru Alice's Wonderland to find it, so have fun. It's worth it and on the way back you have a huge selection of stuff on clearance to pick from. I needed coffee but I didn't know I also need bread and some other stuff that coincidentally was on sale. Nice greetings from the security guards who can't enforce anything these days sadly. Cashier's were normal. Whats with the low rating. If it's here or Bristol Farms across the street I definitely trust Ralph's to have at least reasonable prices. read more

This is a small Ralph's but they have a lot of great products, are well stocked, and the location is convenient. They have a small vegan section with lots of vegan meats and cheeses. They also cater to the kosher community and have a good selection of kosher cheeses and products. They recently revamped the produce department at this location and I am not fond of the update. The aisles of produce are long and narrow. Granted, they are limited on space and want to fit in as much as possible into the space but I dislike having to squeeze by other people in the aisles. I wish they had left some spaces to walk though to break up the space and get around easier. The other issue I have with the produce department is that they often run out of bags and don't refill them. Last time I was there they had two empty dispensers. Sure, one could walk over to another bag dispenser, they weren't all empty, but I'm of the opinion that every single bag dispenser should always be refilled when emptied. There are some things I really like about Ralphs. They have competitive prices. They also send me coupons in the mail so I can get money off on things that I buy. I've also gotten lots of free mayo from those coupons which I really appreciate. They also come out with a great seasonal magazine with more coupons and recipes. Another great thing I love about Ralphs is that you can give back to your community or favorite charity. You can donate to the charity of your choice (that's registered of course) for free just by shopping at Ralphs. It's just like the sadly discontinued Amazon Smile program. It's called The Community Rewards Program and you just link your favorite organization to your card and shop as usual. The hours of this store are also great. They open really early at 6am and are open all day until 1am. Perfect for when you need food but everywhere else is closed! read more

Can't believe I witnessed the security guard ( I think his name is Jake) threaten to shoot a man who couldn't afford food (he was attempting to get a meal out of Ralph's. Let the man eat for crying out loud! These prices are high! Jake reacted so uncomfortably! Jake even told the man that he wishes he gets food poisoning from the sandwich the man was able to take from the store what a heartless word we live in that we have no remorse for people of a different struggle than us. Late evening staff (9/1/24) - Security and disgruntled woman (cashier?) closest to the door - Need to stick to doing their BASIC jobs rather than complicating it by any means including the stereotyping of individuals who have actually been working in Corporate offices for over 4 years less than half a mile from the Ralph's location. This is a great location. The parking lot can get full, but they have metered parking on the street as well. The staff is very friendly and helpful in the store is well stocked. You can save money if you shop their sales and clearance items. read more

This is a very tiny store and I know they have their challenges because of space. They try to do a lot with a very small amount of space. But I had an issue that I raised with the older lady at the deli, and I felt condescended to. She wasn't friendly and wasn't helpful. I love coming to this Ralphs. It's in a perfect location and it's always easy to park, and the shelves are pretty well-stocked. It's clean and easy to find things. The only thing I would say is it negative is it the aisles are little bit narrow and they don't have a big variety of individual drinks in the refrigerators. But there's a good righty of fresh fruits, delicious looking cakes, sushi, meats, salads, and a lot of other foods that make life a little more convenient. read more

I bought a Cesar salad for 3th time it was to bad and even 5 days had time for expired, also some fruit was not fresh .

Since I came back from NYC recently, I decided to quarantine in the West LA area, away from family. After getting settled in to my quarantine place, I came to this Ralph's location to get some random toiletry items I forgot to pack. Fortunately, it was not too busy when I came here. Parking was no issue, and neither was the crowd. I looked through the toiletry section, and found everything I needed. Checkout did not take long, either. There were four registers open, and the lines were moving fast. The cashier was friendly, and efficient in his work. I was out the door in no time. The store itself is clean, organized, and well stocked. It's a nice store in a great area. I'd would definitely come back to shop here again. read more

The store manager RAY would not let me return my item of meat i I purchased within 10 days of buying it because I felt it had a off smell he said my meat was expired and I Cannot return it funny though I checked the Ralph store website and it said any item can be returned for a store credit within 30 days. It sucks that the only manager on duty is rude and has no knowledge of his own stores policy and tells me to take a hike after I show him the Internet proof of the policy and ask if he can kindly give me a store credit. Please help can a real store manager reach out to me or the general manager. I was mistreated. *Blueberry Fields Forever* Thank you, Kristine, the best store manager. Was in the area the other day and planned on stopping here on my way back west, specifically for two 18oz packages of Organic Blueberries which were on sale. I eat blueberries every morning with my breakfast - even though I love them, they're packed with antioxidants, fiber, vitamin C & K, they're good for bone health and very heart healthy. Problem being, they're expensive, and If I had to pick one food I buy most often & spend more money than any other item, it's fresh organic blueberries...so every week I make it a point to find grocery stores with the best deals & sales (there's a great app called "Flipp" that I use for this) I purposely came here because it was the last day of the sale, and that's when I stock up for the week. But there were none and the display where they belong were stocked with cherries. I looked around to find someone (even though I pretty much knew they had no more blueberries) and saw someone unboxing & restocking other produce so I nicely inquired if they had anymore. She asked a guy on the other side of the section, who said "we're out of blueberries." Then when I nicely expressed how I stopped there just for those organic blueberries, she offered to honor the sale price for different organic blueberries. I thanked her and asked her name, she said Kristine. When I thanked her again, I asked who's the manager so I can compliment her and let them know how awesome & accommodating she was. Then Kristine informed me she was/is the store manager and thanked me for the kind words. What I''m even more impressed with is how their store manager was in the produce section helping out the other two guys who were already unboxing and restocking. Not only is/was Kristine friendly and customer service driven, she was helping out her team like a great manager & leader does. I really hope corporate reads these reviews because you need more store managers & people like Kristine because she's exceptional and an exemplary employee & team player. Because of my experience with Kristine, I intend to comeback here again when in the area, despite the difficult parking lot situation (as I read others have mentioned) and also the difficulty of entering & exiting their two separate parking lots (on the corner of a very busy intersection) depending on the direction you're coming & going. read more

Not much to say other than that this is one of the most convenient grocery stores in the area. Closing time is around 12 which makes running here to grab a bottle of wine much more convenient. The parking is a mess, it's a one way route around and most drivers don't notice this so a lot of traffic happens there. Late night lines are the worst, there will be that one person that does their weeks worth of groceries right before closing. read more

Came here at 9AM to pick up a loaf of pre made La Brea Bakery Bread. The lady at the Bakery was rude when I asked her nicely if they had the olive bread. She was immediately defensive and said "Nope, we don't got it. We don't got it!" And started wavering her hands to shoo me away. Then I asked her if she had any fresh baked ones. I was willing to buy any one of them. Then she so rudely said "Nope, they're in the oven." Very condescending. I don't know what her deal was. I'm really surprised at 9AM they don't have any of the La Brea Bread ready. I normally shop at the one on La Brea and 3rd or 3rd and Vermont and they've always been extremely helpful and nice .. as well as having all bakery items in stocked on time. It really goes to show after the pandemic good help is really hard to find these days. read more

Probably the worst Ralphs in the area and I'm down the street, yet I always drive to the one off 3rd and La Brea. The staff look miserable and defeated. The only one with any sense in this place is Michael and he works early and Deli only, but he Listens to how we like our meat and cheese cut, not like the older lady who cuts what SHE likes. Again why is a cashier turned all the way around watching self checkout if you have customers in your line. Can't wait till about 2026/27 until it's all automated. read more

So it's a smaller Ralph's. It wouldn't be my first choice for normal grocery shopping. This is why they get five stars... I showed up at 7 am before a video shoot for a client. Of course my PA was super late. So I just had to move on and buy the ice and waters. I was still hoping my PA would show up with a cooler and other things but... legal pot has made anyone under 25 showing up sort of dicey and I could tell he wasn't going to make our call time. But the staff really went above and beyond when I said I needed a cooler and an umbrella. The cooler - there was ONE left and it was hidden way on top of the frozen food aisle... they needed a ladder and a tool to bring it down. The black umbrella... it was downstairs in storage, but they brought it up for me. And this being WeHo/Bev Hills, they knew exactly what I needed when I said - black umbrella for a photo/video shoot. I loved this staff. They went above and beyond. And this is why I LOVE Ralph's and will always support union workers at Ralph's. I am a fan for life. And Ralph's workers... I will NEVER cross a picket line y'all. I'm with you. And thanks for making our video shoot a success. read more

Just to let my people know, this is the white folks Ralph's. You can feel it as soon as you walk in the place. I asked this young white girl where was the bathroom and she looked at me like I was speaking Chinese and just ignored me. It took the mature black woman to come over and help me. I won't be back, there's a Pavillion's right up the street in the LGBTQ community and they treat you with decency and respect no matter who you are. read more

4/29/20 The Corona-Idiot security guard, a black guy in his late 20's early 30's kept passing close to me back and forth as I was already at the cashiers. When I bright the subject that he needs to be 6 feet away minimum, after all this is the reason we stand in line 6 feet away -- he said "don't worry about it and stared me down. Somebody needs to tell that idiot that he jeopardizes customers with his ignorance, and to keep his stare downs to himself 5/09/20 Plenty of people with no mask inside, others expose the nose, so that if and when they sneeze, it will linger for 30 min or so, and you will get to inhale their sickness. You ask what do the associates or the manager doing about it?! Good question, not much! The associate (in the pic with the female night manager) told me "what do you want me to do!"...later, after getting upset with my persistence and telling him that I will write about him and post pics, he told me, "fuck you" in front of other employees, who didn't even discipline him. This is an okay Ralph's grocery store. What I don't like about this store is that the isles are so incredibly small. It's very hard to pass by the slow walking people. Sometimes it feels like two carts going opposite directions is very iffy and can't pass by. The left side of the store is a little bigger than the right. There is also not a lot of room to wait in line for check out. I never had issues with the staff. Everyone has been pretty nice. read more

I went to the Deli at Ralphs last night at 7:55pm. Just wanted a quick snack for dinner. They were packing up "all" the Deli food on a large cart to refrigerate overnight. I bought the chicken salad and kale salad. My first bite of chicken didn't seem right, but I continued to eat it for dinner. I woke up and my stomach was so uncomfortable. A few hours later I vomited --- Then a few hours later I vomited again - not once --- but four times! It is now 4 hours later, and my stomach is really so uncomfortable. I told a neighbor and she said she bought Barbque chicken there and it didn't seem fresh. A second person said never buy from the Deli at Ralph's.....just buy canned food. I called the manager "Maria" and told her I was sick, and she said they only give fresh food every morning!!!! Not interested in how sick I was and still am. Maria ended the call and when I tried to call back no one answered the phone. I hope I feel better tomorrow. Hopefully no-one else will get sick, as that is the reason that I am positing this. read more

I usually don't go to this Ralph's location. However, I was in the area and needed to grab a few things to head over to my friends house. Since I'm unfamiliar with this store, there was wonderful lady I believe her name was Kristin or Kristine, not sure of the spelling. She was extremely helpful. She also went above and beyond to make make sure all my needs were met. My experience was very delightful with her wonderful sense of humor and friendliness. I've ordered Pickup from this store twice now and each time I've had to wait 20 minutes for them to come out with my order. They make you tell them when you're "on the way" so why do I have to sit in my car for so long? Never ordering pickup from here again. read more

To be honest, for a Ralph's in an neighborhood that's considered higher class than other Ralph's I shop at, this place is sub par, maybe even below that. Understandably, it's a smaller one than a normal one, but they also don't frequently stock up on what they sell. Ex: sometimes they don't have bananas for two days, or Their hot food selection doesn't have anything to offer sometimes. Also, hours are off. They don't open until 6, now. Back then I used to do my grocery shopping at 5:30 in the morning before I had to clock in for work down the street which I found extremely convenient, but apparently they changed the hours. As far as customer service goes, they aren't the greatest, except for one who stocks the floor. I can't remember her name, but without fail she'll always say hi to any customer that passes by the aisle she's in and asks if they need help. Everyone else kind of stay in their lanes and don't really talk or even look at the patrons. Basically 85% of them look like zombies or they hate their job/life. read more
