Although I am a patient of Dr. Knafo, I've only spoken to her 3 of the minimum 9 times I had appointments. The other visits I was seen by two other female doctors. Now this isn't a big issue if you are going for smaller concerns like check ups and well woman exams but I had a continuous stomach issue that the lack of consistency in visits very negatively effected. I ran the same tests multiple times and explained the same symptoms/reactions to the doctors each visit and we ran in circles. I understand this is a family practice and not a specialist, but at some point it's up to the doctors to admit they don't know and refer me to someone else. It took a year of this before I broke down crying and begged for them to refer me. I would like to commend Dr. Knafo on what she is TRYING to do. When I did get to meet with her she was very caring and serious about my mental health. ( I have anxiety and depression ) Although, I believe this effected her judgement a little too much, I often felt like she wouldn't take my other physical health concerns seriously until I started taking medication as she strongly urged for me to start taking lexipro whenever I saw her. I've been doing well with my mental health, and would often express to her the reason behind my being so wound up and on the verge of tears in her office is because I was a 19 year old college student battling a mystery issue and running the same tests every visit. Making appointments is easy, everything else over the phone is hit or miss depending on if they feel like taking your call at that time.

And more treatments are recommended to me than necessary including lots of optional pill work, which to me is a last option. Also the nurses always seem tired and unpleasant. I wait 40 minutes! for doctor to step into my consulting room. 10-20 before and 40 for him just to come in to talk to me. At that point, I'm just ready to get my consultation over with. The last annoyance was when I sprained my foot and wanted to get it check out by family doctor. I was told that "we don't do that". Ok, no problem! There's a next level urgent care across the street and they charge similar prices and have great staff there.

The whole process of booking the appointment, finding the office and getting checked in was easy and smooth. What really impressed me, though, was Dr. Abedin's attention to detail. She is calm, cheerful and reassuring every step of the way. She took her time and made SURE that I was well and truly numb before proceeding with any treatment. As a clinician, I appreciated seeing an expert at work. The procedure was uneventful for me, and I partly listened to a podcast, and partly napped as I was so relaxed in the dental chair. One thing that I was truly unprepared for was that Dr. Abedin takes extra steps to assure a superior clinical outcome. I wish that I could truly convey what a big deal that is. She does not get payed anymore because of it, insurance does not reimburse her any extra. She spends more time and material simply because she wants to deliver superior long term results! I am currently feeling scammed and mislead by this establishment…read more I came for two services that amounted to around $2,200: Mouth guard and fitting: $867 Botox for TMJ - procedure: $650; Botox supply: $600; a total of $1,250. After receiving treatment I moved to Austin. This presented limitations to receive solutions for their poor quality of service and products. The mouth guard process was absolutely excruciating in timeliness and pain. The tech (who clearly had no idea what she was doing) administered a total of 7 failed molds. After the final and "successful" mold my mouth was raw and bleeding from the clumsy and ill-trained worker. When I got the mouth guard, it barely fit and broke within a month. $867 dollars down the drain. When I signed the "treatment plan" I was led to believe by Munné that the $1,250 charge would account for future procedures for the Botox regarding my TMJ. I asked many different times if future Botox procedures would be included in the price. I asked two different techs and Munné herself and they all said that all future applications would be included in the price until my symptoms were relieved. I was scammed and mislead by this establishment and even with asking clear and concise questions, I was not given succinct facts to lead me to make the correct decision on a treatment plan that would suit me fiscally, pragmatically, and medically. Such a shame. At least I will know not to come back to this money hungry sales professional, I mean "DDS". I just got off phone the receptionist. On the call he was trying to coerce me to come in for another appointment to flush more money down the toilet. Get a grip and do better. She has a friendly bedside manner and is extraordinarily knowledgeable. Great ophthalmologist. I also loved how we were able to just talk for a bit: so few doctors have the time to chat with their patients since they are under so much pressure to see as many patients as possible. Dr. Fredrickson is the opposite: she was happy to give me all the time I needed during my visit. I didn't feel rushed at all! That is just so rare.
