It was an emergency and we were sent there by our primary vet; the care was outstanding! They did everything thing they could to find the root of our dogs pain and provided a detailed report on all of his vitals. Our little guy was handled with care and the doctor and nurses were very transparent and honest. They gave us a detail description of each test and we were able to omit any that we felt were unnecessary. They also needed to perform an X-ray; which they explained everything afterwards and answered our questions. They were gentle while drawing blood and did it with us in the room. The staff seemed extremely experienced and very friendly. It was obvious that they genuinely care about animals and their wellbeing.

When I moved here, one of the things I was anxious about was finding a great dog walker for my Bulldog. He's not such a great walker, gets a bit lazy at times, and likes to pull on the leash so it really takes an experienced dog walker to be able to handle him. When I found out that Swifto expanded here to Miami as well, boy was I thrilled! They set me up right away with one dedicated dog walker who has just been so amazing. Always punctual, texts me before he arrives, and takes the most amazing photos of my dog. Now, that's besides the fact that they have a GPS tracking app, which, once you get used to it, you really feel like it's a must when hiring a dog walker. Prior to moving to the Cutler Bay/Homestead area, I had found Homestyle online- conveniently close to my new home! While the dogs have their own kennels, they also get to play outside with others during the day, which is awesome. There is even a pool that the dogs get to enjoy on hotter days. Riley is a friendly dog (absolutely loves children in particular), but she hadn't had many opportunities to interact frequently with multiple other dogs where we previously lived. After several stays at Homestyle, she seemed to be interacting with other dogs more (although she is still part hound, so she'd much prefer to just sniff everything...). When your dog is excited to get there and just as excited to leave (and it completely exhausted), you know you've found a good place. They even post photos and videos to the Instagram and Facebook accounts so you can keep an eye out on your pup when you're away from home. So glad to have found Homestyle Dog Care!

Dr. Bonimy killed my dog. I came in for a routine dental cleaning and talked about potentially…read morevaccinating my dog Daisy and we agreed it would be too stressful to do it after the dental in the same visit so I said I'd come back for the vaccines. Daisy was supposed to get two worts removed from her back while they had her under anesthesia for her dental. She was a healthy newly turned 11 year old dog. She barely had a slight heart murmur when I dropped her off that morning for her dental. When I came to pick her up they had gone behind my back and vaccinated her regardless of what I said which was not to do it the same day as I didn't want to stress her out and cause any permanent damage to her. Well dr. Bonimy did whatever he wanted and when I came to pick her up they told me they vaccinated her. I asked why? He claims it's what I asked for and I continued to explain that no it was not and that I only mentioned it for future reference so we'd get her back in for them at a later date. But it's too late. I picked my dog up and she already had a terribly cough. I thought it was nothing thinking it was from the tube to intubate her. But I was wrong. The couch got worse and literally never went away. I had to take her to the cardiologist because she was struggling to breathe and was coughing so much that I knew something was terribly wrong. The cardiologist said my dog now had congestive heart failure and they had to put her on tons of medication to attempt to get her to stop coughing and to breathe normal again. We tried for 4 months to follow the cardiologist instructions. We took her to a new vet for lab work and X-rays and everything came back normal in her blood. But her heart was no so enlarged and she was so stressed out that she wound up getting congestive heart failure after that visit to Dadeland animal hospital. I know my dog and her health and how she was treated better than anyone and I know my dog would still be alive and well today had I not brought her into Dadeland animal hospital for that dental under anesthesia. I should've never trusted dr. Bonimy. He literally decided to vaccinate my dog against my wishes and blamed it on a "miscommunication" so he didn't have to take any blame for anything. They even made me pay for the expensive vaccinations that I never ever wanted my dog to get and never agreed to. I knew something was terribly wrong with Daisy when I picked her up from the dental appointment and heard her coughing like she was. That was a congestive heart failure cough and she was totally fine before dr. Bonimy touched her. I would sue them if I could but I know I'd just be wasting my time and money. Now my baby girl is passed and I'm heartbroken and it was all because dr. Bonimy didn't put her best interests first. He did what I specifically asked him not to do which was stress my dog out even more after her dental with vaccinations. The cardiologist is a firm believer that dr. Bonimy ended my dogs life. Had I never taken my dog to Dadeland animal hospital she would still be healthy and alive today. Instead I have a box of her ashes on my shelf and I'll never let anyone I love and care for take their pets to Dadeland animal hospital ever again. They literally were the start to what eventually killed my dog. I'll never ever forget this or forgive them. Shane on Dadeland animal hospital and their carelessness. My Daisy deserved better care than that. I payed for better care than that. Dr. Bonimy is terrible. Dadeland animal hospital literally killed my dog.
