( mind you, before the appointment I asked for a grooming trim and shedding. And told her that my dog is only 9 months old and has been to a groomer before so he knows his way around the ropes) The whole time I was there the lady was complaining the whole time that he's too big and saying he was being a hassle, which I saw the whole thing and he wasn't even doing that bad, he was literally just being a dog in a bathtub. This was in the morning and she seemed very worn out just by giving my dog a bath. After that she dryed him off and brushed him and and she still made it seem like it was a hassle to deal with him. I started to get irritated at this point so I just start holding him and making it hopefully be for her. And I guess she just wanted to be done even though his paws, his tale and private parts weren't even trimmed and she just thought of this being a "bath appointment" which I never heard of. She did start trimming his feet and peepee area, after I asked. it's very blotchy and she was complaining the whole time while doing it. It's just if you can't do big dogs let people know instead of taking there money!!!

Many times have we come thinking that our dog is about to pass and they worked with a sense of urgency. They will not do unnecessary tests just to make money. I have been taking my cat Mysti to Barkley Animal Clinic since I moved to Waco about 1 year ago …read more I've been very satisfied how I'm treated and especially how my furbaby has been treated. The last time I took her she was getting her hair shaved because of her matted and tangled hair. She's a Himalayan mix with Persian so naturally these type of cats are beautiful but require alot of brushing and sometimes I've had to take her to get shaved and sometimes if I'm lucky just shave her mats. This time she definitely needed a complete shave. Dr Pippin explained her sedation to me because I was a little nervous because of her age . She will be 16 in a couple of weeks. Dr Pippin has always explains what he's doing and if I have any questions. I left and I decided to take a little nap before picking her up. I woke up late and realized the clinic had called twice and I looked at my phone it was 5:45;pm.I called and apologized. They told me it's OK because things happen. Wow how nice is that. I rushed to get Mysti and thanked them for being so nice. It's also affordable too.

The charge was not high, but the quality of work was very poor. My wife gave specific instructions on exactly what she wanted for each dog. This included showing a picture of one of the dogs fully groomed so that they would have an idea of what he needed to look like when finished. When she went to pick them up she found that both dogs were not done the way she had given instructions they needed to be done. One of our dogs had his back end shaved to where he look more like a baboon than a dog. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The furminator service should have taken a lot longer as it's blowout and brush repeatedly until the under coat is cleared out. Instead my wife still brushed the dog hair and almost filled half a trash bag with just loose hair on just our female dog. The service is convenient to not drive the dogs around to get groomed. So no hair in the vehicles but after this experience and paying what we paid. I will be going back to just taking our dogs to petsmart.
