She was actually early (Don't see that very often). And I received a message when she was on her way. She did a great job and my lil girl looks amazing. Will definitely continue to use this groomer. read more

We used the services with our dog who has since passed and were pleased. I'm not sure what happened but the communication as of now was so poor and when I polled a few friends about the text messages I received when trying to schedule the appointment was all met with the same response - rude. I requested to be contacted to schedule an appointment, yet an appointment was automatically scheduled. I texted the owner simply ASKING if there was anything in the morning. Her response of "y o u made the appointment" and "we have an appointment will you be there" was out of line. I eventually said to myself "maybe I messed up" and said the initial appointment would be fine. Fast forward to the day before the appointment and I get a confirmation for 2:30 (agreed upon time) and then later a confirmation for 3:30. The audacity to get annoyed when I simply asked about a different time and then CHANGE my time without asking is insane. As a groomer, she's fantastic. As a business owner, something drastically changed. read more

I'm selective with whom I let groom my two babies. I've had a few unpleasant experiences with mobile groomers in the past. I used Groomer on the Go for the first time today and I have to say, I have found my forever mobile groomer! Mayte is the sweetest and her genuine love for animals shines thru within the first second of speaking with her! I knew my two were in the BEST HANDS with her and Dina. My boys looked and smelled absolutely AMAZING!! read more

Mayte was amazing and so patient! Mayte is just wonderful! We have two rescues, one of whom is notoriously skittish with strangers. But when Mayte arrived, our little Andy went right to her. She and her assistant (Dina I think?) did an absolutely wonderful job with him, giving him an adorable cut complete with a Mohawk. Andy and Izzy had baths and nail trims and lots of positive attention--a whole fun spa day for them. And when they were both done, they looked and smelled wonderful and so very soft--and they clearly feel much happier. Prices are reasonable, considering she comes to us, and we plan to have her come out on a regular basis now. Thank you so much, Mayte and Dina! read more

Mayte is aaahmaazing! Our Gracie is skittish with grooming. Mayte is patient and loves animals. She has won Gracie over-our girl loves Mayte! Gracie is a standard poodle, so she needs quite a bit of grooming-she always looks fantastic and smells incredible when Mayte is done. read more

Mayte is the best groomer I've encountered! She is very highly skilled, but what makes her stand out is that she is so good with my dog and she truly loves animals! I feel like I hit the jackpot when I found her! So much so, that I hesitate to recommend her for fear that she will get too busy to fit my sweet pup into her schedule! Ha! ps. My dog LOVES her and he's very picky! Two paws up! read more

We love Mayte so much! Or should I say, Biscotti does! I found Groomer on the Go on Yelp and had a lengthy conversation before booking. It was no mistake choosing them. They are so great with my one year old English Bulldog, I really feel like he gets spoiled when he spends his monthly time with the Groomer, Mayte. She's very patient with him, and he comes back clean and smelling amazing every time. She also does all the dirty stuff so I don't have to, glands, teeth, nails, etc. I feel safe with my dog being right outside my front door the entire time, and Biscotti comes back in soft as ever. read more

I was a fan of the work of Groomer On The Go but it is a bit pricey for me to have my three pups get work done. I have a yorkie, weenie dog and cane corso. Only the yorkie needs a cut so after having a $300 bill it was a bit steep for what I was hoping for but I do understand with the three I have and the size of the cane. If you have one or two small dogs or just need some regular routine work done at the convenience of your home then I would definitely recommend the work of Groomer On The Go! read more

Awesome, so much better for the pup. No stress. Bruno knows his buddy is coming. In the van and out before you know it.

I really wanted to like this groomer....and she seems to do a really good job. But whoever is handling the "back office" if there is one, needs assistance. We made an appointment for 4 pm, and when no one showed up I called her. And she said she sent a text message which I did not receive, saying she'll be an hour late. Told her that's fine. But at least this time, since I called her from my cell phone, she'll have my number now. 5 pm, and no show. So I called again, she said she's in front of our house --- well heck, right number, wrong street address. When she finally arrived, we confirmed phone number and address. As we loaded up my dog, there were two small dogs inside, sitting in their own beds, but unsecured. Asked her to secure the dogs because ours cannot be around other dogs due to her AIHA (Auto immune Hemolytic Anemia). Then she asked me what I wanted done, which I had already mentioned when I booked the appointment. For what it's worth, our dog emerged looking and smelling clean. Mission accomplished, but oh, what a circuitous route to get there! read more

My goodness! What can I say? She is just a gem! My puppy is skittish and a bit hard to work with. But, from her interactions I just knew she was the groomer for my boy. Despite his challenges, she managed to make him look adorable and presentable. Communication via text is slightly difficult but be patient she will respond! She is worth the wait! She loves these animals & treats them with so much respect and love. Please, if you're looking for a local groomer, she is your girl! read more

Thank you so much Mayte! You are my angel. My lil trouble maker Brody the Frenchie wasn't able to get washed at his usual place because he was being naughty boy. He now can no longer go there. I feel like a bad dog momma because I know Brody doesn't mean any harm he just gets over stimulated easily. Mayte put me at ease. She was able to wash him, clip his nails, and wash his face! Omg a miracle worker. This is proof she passes the vibe check. Brody can be a lil punk at times. If he likes you he loves you but if he no like you oh boy its known. I think it may be his gift. He weeds the bad vibers out for me for sure! Now to find a new daycare. Anywhoo This service has been amazing! Why didn't I do this before ?! Doh! I guess things happen for a reason now Brody has a new friend and I am very grateful a beautiful soul like Mayte has blessed us with her gift. Keep doing it queen! Having Brody made me very aware i don't know doo doo about dogs and now I want to learn more. read more

She was late and hurt my dogs ears during the grooming. After my dog was groomed he would cry if anything got near his ears and I checked his ears and they were bright red. When I told her about the fact that she was too rough and hurt my dog she justified it by saying it did not happen. Do not go to this mobile dog groomer. It took a week before his ears healed from this grooming session. read more

Mayte was very responsive before, during and after the grooming. She is obviously a dog lover and my pup went from nervous to loving Mayte in a short time. She did exactly as I requested with the length of the hair, which for a doodle isn't the norm from what I've seen and heard. A bonus is that she runs a dog rescue, Mayte's Rescue, so you know good things are happening with the money you spend. We have a doodle with a very different coat so she doesn't need grooming often, but when she does we will 100% go with Mayte again. Thank you! read more

I love this groomer! She is amazing & my dogs loved her too! Lily & Kevin looked so good when she was done with them!

She did a great job. Was a little early which was fine. I feel like she bathed my dog in less than an hour. Would recommend!

Sadly will have to let this groomer go. She would do such a good job with my baby but very unreliable. First said she was running 20 min behind and then said 38 min and now it has been 1 hour and 30 minutes and still nothing. Ends up she went to an old address when we had already sent her the new address TWICE- Her communication with us was horrible. Very upset. read more

I was really excited to get my baby groomer by this business since I saw great reviews. Unfortunately I wasn't able to experience the great service other clients were able to. It has been such a challenge to get any sort of communication. I had an appointment scheduled and the day prior of the appointment, I never received a confirmation text or call, even after I texted them the day before my appointment to confirm my appointment was still set. No response. Still giving the benefit of the doubt, on the DAY OF my appointment I called not once by THREE TIMES, HOURS prior to my appointment to make sure everything was still set as I desperately wanted the services. I gave my baby her anxiety pills 2 HOURS prior to appointment to be ready and texted them once again to make sure I'm still getting the services. No reply. Mind you they never replied back to me since MONDAY. I received no confirmation text or call. No replies either. I have tried to be very understanding and polite as well but all for NOTHING. It's disappointing wanting to support small business if this is the service we get. So I waiting for no services and gave my puppy her anxiety pills when it wasn't needed. Unbelievable. My appointment is at 3:15pm today and still no call or text. UPDATE: yes I do understand family emergencies. We all get them. As least let your clients know at a REASONABLE time too. That way we can also prepare for rescheduling or look for other alternatives. I did not mention the anxiety pills because I didn't think it was needed for me to mention it to you. As this was my baby first time with this groomer I felt it was appropriate to give her the pills to give her a pleasant first time experience. Because I know my baby's health and my concerns. And you can go back and forth with discussing with people in the 1 star reviews but supporting a business begins with first impression communication and the process it comes after that. It's sad you see it that way and that you can't take criticism or take accountability. Because how can you expect support from the start with that kind of communication and customer service ? 1 star was very appropriate. Ma'am I understand they are your family. I'm a dog mom as well so I understand because that's my baby as well. but if you're running a business and have clients waiting to pamper their fur babies, cant you at least give a courtesy text to cancel/reschedule AHEAD of time? That way we don't wait like dumbasses for a response and also so we can also find another groomer while you mourn? read more

My dogs are so picky with who they like we moved from Los Angeles and had been going to the same groomer for 5 years so I was scared when I moved to Vegas I'm so grateful to have found groomer on the go my dogs love her and I had a senior dog that was 16 they were so gentle with her and even when I told her that my dog passed away she was there to talk to me it's not about money she cares for my pets wouldn't go anywhere else read more

If I could give Mayte/Groomer on the go more than 5 stars I would!!! She is absolutely AMAZING! I found her here on Yelp's Top 10 Groomers and after our first experience I know why she's top ten. She's #1 for us! Mayte did absolutely amazing on our puppies first grooming and cut. She takes extra special care of your babies. Mayte also groomed our senior 15 1/2 yr old pup. He is very sketchy around people and when we met her he literally snuggled up in her arms. I knew Mayte was the groomer for us. She has amazing vibes and you can tell she loves her job and your fur babies. I would HIGHLY recommend Mayte for your fur babies needs! Two enthusiastic thumbs up read more

I have two Shih Tzu puppies that needed their first groom. Mayte was friendly but needs better grooming skills. I asked her to not cut the dogs ears, she did and they look terrible.
