Dude got all opinionated on me and I had lost debit card it was Sunday and they were trying to cheat and when called gave omei of tablet and dude told me proce and then wouldn't back up said never happed and he asked his boss if we take the gun that I had and she said yes 25-30 and then he wouldn't buy it from me and then she backed them up saying we shouldn't even be taking that at all so no we don't want it. When I finally sold I got 150 at gun store across street as it was rare or something. They let their personal business affect their business and affect mine as well... I want to Cash America and they gave me $35 for what pawn Max offered 25 to 30 and they were not rude as all whoever owns this place really needs to work on customer service because I made a casual comment and he turned it into an extreme debate which of course for me irrate because he raised his voice when in all honesty he should have just smiled and nodded because I was the customer I think his name was Jake.o swear he probably has long hair calls himself jess now and says he is a lesbian trying pressure young lesbians with no self confidence. In decades of life worst experience ever. Cash America is more fair in all cases anyway. Test it get both opinions on whatever your selling. If one is more it will be cash America .some people should never work in service and in service you should never bring your personal shit to work who does that? Grow up. A significant employee there, that deserves the UTMOST of praise, TANYA, has gone above and beyond with helping me set up a payment schedule to ensure I get all of my belongings out without any hassles, going through my pawn list and pin pointing the best items to get out on my pay days to guarantee the least amount of interest I need to shell out, and she ALWAYS works with my pay schedule. Not only has Tanya and the majority of the other employees at this location treated me with respect, kindness, and dignity; but they've also sincerely understood my financial situation and truly cared about me getting my belongings back into my possession without breaking my wallet in interest payments. Because of the new team at this location, and ESPECIALLY Tanya, I do my pawn business (whether i need a loan, selling an item, or purchasing an item) exclusively with Pawn Max II on 4th street. As long as Tanya and the other current employees are at this location, I will not bring my business ANYWHERE ELSE. I called ahead about tablet and was offered 40-60 after spending 20 mim getting model number for them. When I went in it was 3 teenagers. One with shaggy blond hair said his name was Kevin never smiled had no customer service skills at all.and they claimed that I did not call them..but I record all clals on my phone for a different reason and they lied. One person did. And he said the 4g of gold I had was 10k and worth $30. So I called america pawn and they said they'd give me between 50 and 60.. this got him angry and the 5 things they were gonna take he took off two saying it wasn't worth anything. He was extremely rude I went to cash America and found out they were 24k gold. Kevin said they were scratched and not good quality but he spent 15 mim scratching them to prove the were gold.i told him I had magnifying on my phone he ignored me. Cash America gave me $120 for the gold. This guy should not work around people he has so much hate on him..h was yelling at me as I was leaving telling him to play with kittens and get rid of the hate in his heart. Idk who made him afraid on his life to make him I to such a bully but I hope he grows out of it before he's alone and miserable or a wife beater and miserable. Never going there again. I went to the 4th Street location in St. Petersburg looking for a bicycle. Carlos was the salesman that assisted. He was knowledgable of the products and eager to assist. I took the bike for a spin around the block to test it-- obviously a used bike wasn't going to be perfect, nor did I expect it to be. Carlos took this into consideration before I even hopped on the bike and was prepared to sell it at a discount if I wanted it. I took it for a spin-- nothing was wrong with it and the sale was made.
